Relaxing and gorgeous

This place was so beautiful and the staff was accommodating and welcoming, as soon you welcome in you offered drinks and cooling flannel, I was thinking this is going to be great! Also this hotel offers amazing amenities and the excursions, the beach was at your feet . I told the staff I will be coming back next year. It feels like paradise. Make sure you have a lot of money but it’s worth every penny.

A memorable stay in a beautiful place

There is a lot to love about this resort. It is one of the most memorable and beautiful places I've ever stayed, with a serene vibe, friendly staff, and plenty to see and do. Our hillside villa was large, clean, quiet, and gorgeous, with an incredible view and a private plunge pool (much-appreciated in the sweltering summer heat). I woke up almost every morning to a rainstorm followed by a beautiful rainbow to enjoy with my coffee - that's something I'll never forget.

The resort grounds are lovely and it wasn't difficult to find a nice place to lounge on the beach. We kayaked several times, which was fantastic - definitely good to make use of the free water sports. The bars were easily accessible with good drinks (especially the mojitos... though they often ran out of mint). And I'd recommend ordering lunch from your lounge chair as opposed to sitting at the restaurant.

Speaking of which, one of our only complaints was about the restaurants, mainly the laughably slow service. Meals could take 2-3 hours and you could easily spend half your day waiting for food. I understand island time, but it was really absurd, and didn't seem to matter if you were a party of 12 or 2... meals take FOREVER. The food was good for the most part, but they really need to do something about the timing. We missed the nightly entertainment most nights because we were stuck at dinner until after 10pm. It would also be nice to have some other options for grab-and-go food. There are no options for snacks or food items for the room unless you get a car to take you to a market in town. The breakfast buffet was fine for us every day with a good selection of food and a nice omelette bar.

The nightly entertainment that we did catch was really great, especially the steel drum band. And we had a blast with friends at the silent disco (following the Friday sunset cruise... another hit!).

The only other issues were around charges. We spent hours disputing charges on our bill we didn't make and other admin mistakes. I'd recommend photographing all receipts signed to have a record. The staff often relies on scribbled notes for accounting, and it's a bit of a mess. They'd be smart to get a good POS system for everyone's sanity.

Staff was great overall, but housekeeping was a bit frustrating - with towels disappearing, then reappearing in random bags on our doorstep, only to go missing again. The room was kept clean, which was great. But there are very few amenities offered in the villas - I wish I knew this before arriving. I would have brought a robe, soap, and other items hotels usually provide. Also, be sure to bring really anything you might need as the market at the resort is insanely overpriced.

Note that most of the villas are up very steep hills. There are regular shuttles that make the rounds and are easy to call. But the way they maneuver the hills (especially at dark in the rain) is not for the faint of heart. :-) If we return, I'd request a villa lower on the hillside.

I appreciated the small gift huts with local goods, though I would have loved to have seen more local artisans selling items throughout the week. It was slim pickings for handmade, reasonably priced souvenirs.

One note - Be sure to book a speed boat tour with Captain Dell! He is the island's best ambassador and it was truly one of the best days of my life. We also enjoyed the all-day catamaran with friends. What an incredible place and experience!

Amazing Stay!!!

My family (wife and 21-month-old son) and I recently stayed with your lovely resort, Windjammer Landing.

We spent one night, July 27th and departed July 28th for my birthday my wife treated me to. We were pleased to have a late c/o on Monday, so we could’ve enjoyed the beach and relax time.

First off, the welcoming from the Butler team of Liam, Denel, Dunston, and Marcus (which we met on the following day) was quite warm with smiles and professionalism. Their posture, everything was on point.

When Liam and Dunston escorted us to our room, 614, my wife’s jaw just dropped as she was in awe and could not believe the upgrade given to us. As the head of the HK team at Sugar Beach, HK Operations Manager, she could not find one fault in the room…ohh and she has an eye haha.

We were so pleased and humble to have the upgrade, and even baby Alexander loved the room.

Let’s talk about the team:

Liam: a professional superstar that displays the great qualities a Butler should offer. He is a cut and rare gem.
Dunston: That smile warms your heart and makes you feel so special.
Denel: Top professional and great at what he does.
Marcus: He is a wonder to have in your team.
Merlinda: we met at breakfast was so welcoming and engaging. She is a darling.

My wife and I usually do weekends in hotels/resorts in the north, and we consider Windjammer to be our escape place to replace the other hotels/resorts we stay.

Unforgettable Experience at Windjammer – Thanks to an Incredible Team!

We just returned from an amazing stay at the Windjammer, and what truly made our trip unforgettable were the incredible people who went above and beyond to make it special.

From the moment we arrived, Michael greeted us with warmth and professionalism. He handled our airport transfers and gave us a fantastic introduction to the island — a true gentleman and a wealth of knowledge about his beautiful country.

A huge thank you to Tyler for organizing the speedboat tour — hands down the highlight of our trip! Captain K, Clyde, and Noah were an absolute blast and made the day one we’ll never forget.

We also had an incredible time sailing with Mario (or as we called him, “Rio”). He not only captained our sailboat with ease but also made sure we had kayaks and tube rides ready to go — so much fun!

And last but certainly not least, Nate (aka “Nate the Great!”) took exceptional care of us at the pool and beach. His friendly attitude and engaging personality made every day feel like a VIP experience.

Every one of these team members brought warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality to our trip — we felt like we were among friends. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable. Windjammer is lucky to have such an outstanding team!

Villa bathroom full of mold and bugs

Beautiful lobby and warm welcome upon arrival. Resort sits on a beautiful beach. Bathroom was disgusting- full of mold on shower floor and walls. When brought to staffs attention, the response was very non-concerning. We had to walk through standing water and mold in shower each day. Also lots of bugs flying around the standing water. If you do not purchase the all-inclusive plan expect to pay for expensive meals and snacks. One bag of chips was $12 and drinks at the bar were $22. We did enjoy the beach, but the bathrooms in Villas need some attention!

Beautiful and fun place to visit

Family of 5 adults visited this tropical island. From the time we arrived and were greeted by our van drivers to when we left, we were treated like VIP’s. Delicious food, wonderful customer service, friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned daily and each room had balcony that looked out over the resort. Plenty to do.

Ideal resort for families and water sports

Family-friendly resort with beautiful villas and stunning beach and sea views.
Standouts included free motorised watersports (all-inclusive package), super friendly team for our family incl. 7 & 11yr old boys, who learned to wakeboard and kneeboard over the holiday.
Amazing watersports team: Jameson, Howard, Mario, Denver, JN-Marl are all great teaching kids + adults.
Idyllic beach cove location with snorkeling, kayaking and water slide / floating platforms to swim to.
Lovely family holiday, highly recommended.

Always Outstanding

We’ve stayed at Windjammer Landing six times since 2017, and every time we visit we feel like honored guests. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, and many have worked there so long that we’ve gotten to know each other. Their warmth and attention to every detail truly makes you feel at home.

Some great updates have been done since our previous visit. The recently renovated pool area is stunning and bright with sparkling pool tile, waterfall, and in-pool seating. The beach lounge chairs were recently replaced, and there are plenty of umbrellas for shade-seekers. The chairs are clean every morning, and there’s ample table space beside the seats for drinks and lunch on the beach, which you can order from the beach servers. We snorkel every day right off the beach, and there's always something new to see.

Our accommodations have always been beautiful, comfortable and impeccably clean with picture perfect views, and this time was no different. The first time I walked into one of the Ocean Point villas, I thought I must be dreaming. They are spectacular with modern interiors, fantastic views, beach side access, and a private plunge pool which is great for early morning and late night swims, or if you just want some privacy. The beds are so comfortable we wish we could take them home!

There are many dining options including a high-end steak house (Upper Deck), Indian (Masala), and Italian (Papa Don’s) restaurants, and the food is delicious and beautifully presented at each one. Our whole family looks forward to the breakfast buffet from the time we start planning our visits, and the food is so good we always eat too much! The all-inclusive package is a very good value – especially since there are so many delicious Windjammer cocktails to try. This trip, we had espresso martinis at the chic new Upper Deck bar after an incredible steak dinner, and it was the perfect place for a night cap. We also brought my Mom with us to celebrate her Birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make her day special. From room decorations, to stopping by our table at each meal to wish her a Happy Birthday, and a wonderful dinner complete with outstanding gluten-free cake, my Mom was thrilled.

We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect paradise spot

We came in April 2025 as a family and had the most amazing time. Everything was 5 star. The accommodation was amazing and the setting of the resort is truly breathtaking and like no other resort. The room was a one bed room with large terrace and hot tub. The bed in the lounge for the kids was the largest sofa bed we have ever come across so was ample for a 8 & 10 year old. Very spacious and the room facilities were top notch. The resort is well run with shuttles available at anytime you save your legs walking up and down to your apartments. The staff were all so friendly. We stayed for 10 nights and probably the first ever resort that I could have stayed longer at. We found a great taxi driver/guide to take us out of the resort to visit the sites and happy to recommend. The hotel also provides trips but we decided to stick with our driver/guide. The food and restaurants were perfect, we stayed all inclusive . They do try and sell time shares but it wasn’t an unpleasant experience and it’s optional to listen in- we were very tempted! This is a great resort for families and couples, a true paradise with an amazing beach. The best sunsets also.

Accessible Lived-In Luxury in Paradise

Windjammer Landing exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the service was five-star without ever feeling stuffy. Small details made a big difference, like rolled towels in the restrooms instead of paper towels and being assigned my concierge for the entire stay.

The food was consistently excellent, with every dish carefully prepared and beautifully presented. The team here clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction.

A huge thank you to the staff who made my stay so memorable: Nadia and Winsley Sonson were exceptional, while Dee, Mimose, Tonia, Luwanna, Terrencia, Bradley, Lessar, Michelle, Damien, Anel, Chef Kim, Shamara, Uselta, Aniaah, Ezra, Maria Newton, Frances Nicholas, Terrance Aubert, Brent, Chef Peter, Khadijah, Kizzie, Jean Pierre, and many others all delivered outstanding hospitality. Special recognition also goes to Lisa Rene, Front Desk Agent, General Manager Lyndon Lovell and Executive Chef John Hazzard for leading such a fantastic team.

Windjammer Landing feels like true accessible luxury, polished, warm and lived-in. It’s not just a resort, it’s a paradise I can’t wait to return to.

Came back so well rested

We just got back from a week-long stay at Windjammer and it was incredible! My colleague said to me today, “you look so well rested!” I traveled with my husband, 1-year old, and a friend. There was something for everyone there - my friend did scuba and water skiing every day, my husband and I relaxed on the beach, pool, or our own private pool most days and also did a full day excursion to the sulfur springs one day, and my 1-year old hung out at the kids club with a babysitter. The property is beautiful, the food is excellent, and the service is wonderful. Around dinner time they have excellent live entertainment. Only cons to note were that there is no lifeguard at the beach, you have to sign a check for everything even if you are doing all-inclusive, and the crib sheets provided were too big and not tight fitting, which is not safe for sleep — I would recommend you bring your own crib sheets.

Some people who made our stay special: Macrina (babysitter), Valerie (housekeeper), Tardius (front desk), Mario (water sports), Lawrence (omelette station), Nick (excursions), and Henry (taxi driver).

Unbelievable in every way !!

Being married to a travel agent I am fortunate enough to experience lots of resorts around the world but there are some that just stand out as being exceptional and Windjammer Landings is exactly that. We stayed in a three bed beach front villa that wasn't just luxurious but had the most amazing views at any time of the day. Service was exceptional in all dept's, (Bars, Restaurants, Butler Service, Watersports etc), we loved it all and had some of the most amazing food whilst on our vacation. The beach is well maintained and quite shallow in places however if the beach isn't your thing then the pool area is beautiful and has quite a Mediterranean feel to it. We were both very sad to leave and can't wait to return.

Renovations, effected the experience

We love this hotel. But due to the up and coming renovations there's a few shortfalls. Communication and transparency was not priorities throughout the process.

I know this isn't the normal service they provide but during the lead up to the renovations the staff slowly became more and more hands off across the board. Talking amoungst each other. Restaurants are not open during the times online. The beach staff are barely there. Service at the restaurants seemed to dwindle during dinner and lunch. There was no 1st time welcome to the breakfast buffet.
If you was looking to have a nibble on food all the relaxation places are outside so flies and birds are bound to help them selves to your food and drink, which is why service is needed so you can lounge about.

When you do plan on staying here (which you should) just don't stay during the period before they carry out renovations. Ask the hotel directly, but I assume they won't have any due for a few years because the villa we stayed in was perfect.

To summerise Everything was nice, but I was looking for great.

Nice resort needs upgrades

Just got home from spending 6 days at the Windjammer. The views were great but the resort needs some upgrades. The beds and were not super comfortable. You have to take a shuttle anywhere on the property so we did not like feeling trapped. It appeared people do not rent cars when they come to the island and most did the All Inclusive option. We did not. We did eat twice on property and the food was OK..just that. We like the freedom to try local restaurants. They have the shuttle service on point..never had to wait longer than 5 minutes. I read that they had several pools but when we arrived all but the main was under construction. The main pool was closed for an entire day during our stay which was annoying. The ants in our room were daily..the housekeeping did take good care of us and eventually brought us some spray. The drive from airport to resort was an hour 1/2 with the traffic. I would not stay here again knowing that. I would say the views and beach/pool were our saving grace.

Amazing Windjammer Resort

Arrived mid August for a week bed and breakfast and had a really good holiday . Request an ocean view room walking distance from reception ( stayed in room 331 b) . All the pools , beach , restaurants and bars are so close to each other . Service at all the bars and restaurants were excellent with amazing staff including Travis , Vanessa and Sedan to name a few . Virtually had our own pool 10 yards from the room. Would definitely go back. Also arranged the afternoon Piton sunset cruise from the resort which was also well worth the money with drinks and food provided on a Catamarran
The entertainment was also very good with different themes each night. The room was excellent in size and plenty of cupboards and was cleaned daily. Nice touch having your own mini kitchen with fridge . Staff throughout the resort are always smiling and willing to assist . Breakfasts were really good with plenty of variety. Tried all the restaurants and favourites were Papa Dons and Masala.

Windjammer Landing Resort never disappointes , everything perfect

Went to this beautiful resort for my sons birthday celebration and had the most amazing time , From arrival to departure my experience was A1
Staff were super friendly
Food was so delicious
Place looks soo beautiful
Rooms well kept
Managers ensured to check on me which i loved
Service was super perfect
Soo much waterspots activities to enjoy
Waterspots staff were amazing and so helpful
The boys had a blast and didnt want to leave

Was my third time there and I highly recommend this beautiful resort
They never disappointe
You can go in for just breakfast , lunch or dinner and staff are just as nice
Keep up the good work

Another excellent stay at Windjammer Landing

After being closed for a few weeks we arrived at Windjammer Landing on the 1st October. There were a few reopening teething problems, with only one restaurant open for a few days. With everything reopened we finally got to Masala with the tandoor oven fully working. The Naan bread was amazing, tasting like only tandoor backed naan does. The tandoori chicken starter and the butter chicken main was our favourite dishes. Masala really has stepped up a notch from last year.

Liam the beach supervisor has a fantastic team of beach workers. Keenan is still one of the hardest workers on the beach. He is attentive and always on the move making sure we are always looked after.

There is an addition of rows of umbrellas at the far end of the beach which are beautifully straight. Every umbrella was laid and set by Terry, who does the beach maintenance. All day he walks the beach fixing the deck chairs, umbrellas and servicing the all the equipment. Very studious indeed.

House wines are excellent as usual. Red Stripe in bottles and Piton is available on draught.

The menus at all the restaurants have been tweaked offering a lovely range of dishes.

Papa Dons was closed due to refurbishment of the surrounding area but is open in the air conditioned part of Dragonfly. June and Natalie still provide a warm welcome and excellent service.

Upper deck has been rejuvenated. The steaks we had were truly amazing. Francis our host was as charming as ever. It was lovely to see her again.

Unfortunately due to some serious swell on the ocean I only water skied a couple of days, but still Gordon has the finest Watersports facility in the entire Caribbean. All his team are worthy of a mention as they all work so hard every day, even when they are closed! All the floating equipment was pulled ashore and the floating rings were cleaned. That said the surfers all had a great few days.

All in all an excellent 9 days, but it all went too quickly. A special mention has to go to Richard Mark and Linden, head Ambassador, for ensuring our stay was to the very highest of standards. Thank you everyone

🌴 A Magical Stay at Windjammer Landing – Cherishing Every Moment

We’re currently spending our last day at Windjammer Landing here in beautiful St. Lucia, and already feeling nostalgic about leaving this slice of paradise.

It has been one of the most memorable family holidays we’ve ever had celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.

We’re staying in a beautiful 2-bedroom hillside villa, and the views truly take your breath away—sparkling sea by day, sunsets over the bay in the evening. The villa is spacious, quiet, and elegantly laid out, giving our family of 4 the perfect mix of togetherness and privacy.

The bed and breakfast plan has worked perfectly for us. The Dragonfly restaurant has been a treat, with a delicious spread of local fruits, hot dishes, fresh pastries, and made-to-order options. The Dragonfly team (too many to mention) are so warm and welcoming—they’ve made a real effort to remember our preferences and always greet us with a smile.
One of the biggest highlights for all of us has been the included water sports—we’ve had a blast kayaking, paddleboarding, and sailing. The beach / water sports crew are amazing—friendly, patient, and always happy to help. It’s been the perfect blend of fun and relaxation.

What stands out the most, though, is the incredible staff and the St Lucian warm hospitality. Every single person we’ve encountered—from the front desk and housekeeping to the shuttle drivers and beach attendants—has been so genuinely kind, helpful, and warm. You can really feel how much pride they take in making sure guests are happy. It’s the kind of service that makes a beautiful place feel unforgettable.
As our last day winds down, we’re feeling so grateful for this experience. Windjammer Landing has delivered everything we were hoping for—comfort, luxury, warmth, and a real sense of Caribbean charm. Whether we were lounging by the beach, enjoying the hillside breeze, or laughing together over dinner, this trip has been packed with moments we’ll cherish forever.

Outstanding experience!

A deep down heartfelt thank you to all of the windjammer employees who made traveling alone with a 6 year old an absolute delight, easy, worth spending money on, and a true vacation rather than a trip! While Jermiah John in reservations actually heard me on what mattered to me, took it upon himself to make sure I hat I was as close to the main pool and beach as possible (so we could go back and forth like a 6 yr old likes to all day every day - seamlessly for a single mom carrying all of his junk) and that man really made a difference before we even arrived…. The staff at the windjammer went so far above and beyond to make sure that everything was as easy and enjoyable as possible. I mean it from the bottom of my heart - THANK YOU!!!!! There are several employees who truly deserve recognition. Darnell and Rohan as ambassadors. Jennika (the real hero who my son will never forget) in housekeeping and Nayan (technically just a driver for housekeeping I believe but the man who does it all)… you made my life so much easier and accommodated every bit of our excess towel use and bazar dramatic little dude requests 😂. Nayan, man, you get a huge hats off to just being aware, attentive, and doing whatever the heck you saw I needed help with without even being asked. 💚 Cecilia and Shanna; our favorite restauraunt servers, appreciate you! Janai and Zarie kept us beyond taken care of at the pool. And then there is Brandon at the beach. When I asked where to go to buy some beach toys day 1 … you gave my son the buckets and shovels of joy on the spot that kept me from having to go buy them and went out of your way to get us taken care of when we weren’t even in your area. Then there is Marcellus - my mother can’t wait for her local rum and I wouldn’t have brought it back if it weren’t for you! I just landed back in the US and already can’t thank the staff enough. I would 110% recommend the windjammer. I did a lot of research and absolutely made the right choice. It is better in person than online and truly, from someone who is particular and has traveled quite a bit … the customer service was absolutely unmatched!!!!! I was glad I rented a car, drove, and saved myself getting car sick in transportation though. If you’re the crazy driver in the US that people get irritated with … you will love getting to pull your dangerous passing and wild antics with no one thinking anything of it! Haha
