Really great resort! Beautiful beach, lots of activities, great food, really nice room

We loved this resort! My husband and I came last year and we loved it so much we came back this year, and brought some friends. Now they are all planning to come back next year with their grown kids. The place is beautiful. It's as pretty as any place we've found in Hawaii. And the view from our balcony - wow! There were plenty of beach chairs, so we grabbed on in the morning and hung out there or in the open air restaurants or bars through the day. It wasn't even hot in August because there's a sea breeze all day. We love snorkeling, and their bay has a big roped off area with beautiful snorkeling over the lava rock on right side of the huge sandy beach. No swim out required, as the good snorkeling starts just a few feet from shore, and it attracts all kinds of different fish. The resort also has all kinds of fitness activities. We did the morning group walks that happen every day. They were about 3 to 5 miles, I think, and they have a fast person in the front leading and a relaxed person bringing up the rear for the slower walkers. It was perfect - my fast walking cousin got her hard cardio workout up front, and my husband an I chilled out in the back. Then we usually did a stretch class. But my cousin ran off to play pickleball. They also had yoga classes, a really fun and energetic water aerobics class in the pool twice a day that I loved, tennis, archery, a beach fit boot camp type thing on the beach in the morning for the diehards, volleyball, and, oh, a cooking class and a cocktail making class on some days, and much more that I can't remember because there are like 30 activities happening every day. Plus you can use their kayaks or paddleboards, their hobie cat mini catamaran things if you know how to or want to learn how to sail a hobie cat. They take people tubing and water skiing in the ocean too. And then, everyday, you get a free massage. And all of that stuff, plus the food, drinks, most alcohol is included. The food is delicious and plentiful. A lot of it is Caribbean inspired, and they have buffets and also sit down restaurants. They have such nice veggie and salad bar choices, which I love. It was easy to get plenty of fruits and vegetables on this trip, unlike on a lot of our vacations where you come home craving vegetables because you couldn't find many on your trip. Also plenty of not so healthy choices, like delicious barbequed ribs and lots of yummy desserts. They have thought of everything for everyone. We will be back!

Perfect trip for myself with my two active 22/23 year old daughters

A slice of heaven

This was, by far, my best vacation ever.
I was looking for an all-inclusive resort where I could do some sporting activities and relax and be pampered at the same time. Because of my family situation, I could only travel in August.
My travel agent recommended the BodyHoliday because of the beautiful setting and the daily massage included in the cost of the resort.
Everything felt just right on this superb island: the venue itself (turquoise waters), very private beach, the food, the very friendly staff, and the activities.
The only (slight) negative is the room itself, which was not exactly luxurious but very adequate. I would call this resort a 4.5 star, with 5 star with an update to the rooms.
The wellness centre is 5 star; very professional staff and certified massage therapists. I had additional massage therapy (extra) and my thanks to Albertha and Georgia (reflexology).
The Wellness Centre also has a clinic for facials and the like. My thanks to Samson for a great facial treatment experience.
Frederika managed my massage/wellness bookings throughout the week, and she was just awesome. She made my stay ever more enjoyable.
I did the hike up the Gros Piton Mountain and I don’t think I could have made it up without the encouragement of my guide Marlon. The drive there and back with another guest was one of the most enjoyable parts of the stay.
I also did scuba activities: refresher, shore dive and scuba trip to Soufrière. All very enjoyable thanks to the BodyHoliday personnel. Shoutout to Captain Dee.
Please note that the airport is at the other end of the island. You should expect the drive to the resort to take 1.5 to 2 hours depending on time of day. As I was coming from Ottawa (Canada) with a connecting flight to Toronto, this makes for long travel days. But the 6 days in between were a slice of heaven.
Whether you are going solo or in a couple, I highly recommend this resort and the island itself for the quality of the venue, the friendliness of the staff and the islanders, and the gorgeous views anywhere on the island.
As a last point, because I went in August, please note that St. Lucia is outside of hurricane alley. As I left, hurricane Erin was barreling down towards Porto Rico and beyond. St. Lucia barely got any rain.
I will be back next year for sure.

I came hoping to recharge, but I left transformed. The spa treatments were amazing and left us feeling refreshed.

Plenty of activities for everyone whether you want to join in or just relax and watch.

Staff were incredible which should be recognised by management. On the water sports Peterson who was a character was very patient with us and provided us with guidance using the water sports. Torell, a very talented young man who engaged with everyone during the activities, in particular in the piano bar during the evenings where he sang to an audience who were in awe of him and joined in. Personally, I feel that he should be employed as a singer in the bar to accompany Alfred the pianist during the evenings..
all of the staff in the restaurants worked hard and were welcoming and pleasant

BodyHoliday Fan Club!

AMAZING!
This property is truly a hidden gem. I’m so happy I chose it for a last-minute solo trip to reset my mind and body. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are very comfortable, the beach is gorgeous, and the food selection is excellent with plenty of variety. You can take advantage of the wide array of fitness and wellness activities or simply relax by the pool or beach.

The staff are EXCEPTIONAL! Every interaction was pleasant and professional. Special thanks to the incredible concierge team (and for the shirt, Harvey!), Natoya at the Spa (magic hands), Deleon and Dwayne on the beach (always helpful with great vibes), Kieahson for the scuba lesson (try if you’ve never done it), and Liz (Elizabeth) at the restaurant, who was so accommodating and generous.

I met many repeat guests during my stay, and now I understand why, they’ve fallen in love with BodyHoliday. My only regret is that my stay wasn’t longer, but that just gives me all the more reason to return. There are so many activities I still want to try next time. Don’t miss the Friday sunset cruise and BBQ!

Poorly Maintained Facilities; Issues from Prearrival to Departure

My wife and I recently returned from a one week stay at BodyHoliday to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. What we hoped would be a relaxing trip turned into a stressful vacation that the both of us regretted having ever taken. Most of the issues we had have been well documented in other reviews and could be put into two categories: (i) poorly maintained facilities/room; and (ii) service related issues with both the pre-arrival and onsite concierge teams.

Poorly Maintained Facilities
Although the resort touts itself as a five star destination, in reality it is three stars at best. The overall condition and quality of our room was poor. The furniture was cheap and worn (although the bed was very comfortable), there was paint on the floor and furniture from a clearly rushed paint job, and part of our balcony door wouldn’t close resulting in small ant like bugs entering into our room. In addition, as other reviewers have mentioned, our shower contained an obvious defect that resulted in a large amount of dirty water constantly running out of it and onto the floor of the bathroom. This required that multiple full body towels be placed next to the shower door for each shower to soak up the water. The air conditioning system was also a problem. It either blasted cold air or didn’t work at all, and the thermostat seemed to have no effect. As a result of these issues we never felt relaxed and comfortable while in our room. The lack of maintenance could also be seen throughout the resort including all the equipment used for the activities being in poor condition (e.g. tennis racquets with worn grips and strings, archery gloves with holes in them, etc.).

Service Related Issues
Our dealings with the concierge team, especially the pre-arrival group, were extremely frustrating and looking back should have been the first sign to just cancel the trip. Although the resort encourages its guests to book spa treatments, excursions, and some restaurant reservations in advance using its “webroom” online portal, it never works (again, something many reviewers have stated). We therefore had to e-mail the pre-arrival concierge team directly with our requested reservations, who just could not get it right. For example, it took over five emails just to book three simple spa treatments, with each confirmation we received containing multiple errors such as incorrect treatments and dates. This back-and-forth went on right up until the night before our departure which left us feeling stressed instead of relaxed. We also had issues with the onsite concierge which seemed to be more related to them being understaffed and overworked. Simply put, they forget to do what they promise requiring multiple visits or calls to them. Other service related issues worth mentioning included: (i) finding the door to our room wide open in the evening after housekeeping had gone in (it took a day and a half to get an answer as to who was in the room); (ii) one of the restaurants running out of food during their touted Sunday roast before we even got there (we ended up eating little scoops of whatever dried out vegetables they had left); and (iii) having to hold up our taxi on departure for nearly 15 minutes because they forgot to get our bags.

Non-Disclosed Construction
As bad as all the above is, the most egregious and unforgiving issue in my opinion was the resort knowingly placing us in a room that was just above a large block of rooms undergoing renovations. Although the renovations were minimal at first (e.g. painting), each day it got progressively worse to the point where we were walking past people in full protective gear who were doing demolition work to some rooms. The resort didn’t even take the time to clean the pathways leading to our room resulting in us having to walk through sheetrock and construction dust every day. All of our shoes needed to be washed down when we got back.

Overall Bad Experience
The sign of a good vacation is when you are upset you have to leave. This was not the case for my wife and I who just wanted to go home by the end of our third night. The resort promises if you give them your body for the week, they will give you back your mind. Unfortunately, instead of giving back my mind they took my sanity. The only real positive experience we had was in our dealings with all the other staff at the resort who were extremely friendly and helpful. Whether it was housekeeping, the Bodyguards, beach attendants, or most of the food staff, everyone went out of their way to make you feel welcome. It is the only reason I gave the resort three stars instead of two.

Truly Unique All-Inclusive Resort

Wonderful experience at a truly unique all-inclusive resort. It was the perfect combination of workouts, trying new activities, superb treatments at the Wellness Center, relaxing on the beach, and excellent cuisine. It was the best possible first solo vacation I could have hoped for and a great way to celebrate my 75th Birthday!!!

Memorable Stay at Body Holiday with Room for Improvement

Body Holiday has always been a truly special destination for me, thanks to its exceptional treatments, activities, and dedicated team. My recent stay was memorable, though I noticed some areas where the experience could be enhanced.

From the Spa and Wellness Centre, I enjoyed two of the best massages with Trisha M. and Kadeem, whose professionalism and expertise were outstanding. Fredrica at the Spa Reception is always friendly, welcoming, and remembers visitors by name, making the experience even more personal and enjoyable.

At Cariblue Restaurant, it is a pleasure to see long-standing staff, such as the gentleman who has worked there for 32 years, providing consistent, high-quality service. We also met a new young waiter, Jeanaii, who welcomed us with big smiles and a caring attitude. At The Wellness Café, Amanda remains my favorite waitress, though I noticed some of the newer staff were less attentive — mix-ups with orders and body language suggested they were not fully focused on guest experience.

On the beach, the boys were exceptionally helpful, always smiling, introducing themselves by name, arranging sunbeds, and checking if we needed anything from the bar. The Water sports team was also professional, supportive, and encouraging.

The Sunset beach bonfire with the saxophonist used to be a magical and memorable tradition. On this visit, the fire went out quickly, and there was no effort to relight it, leaving only smoke. A small adjustment, such as preparing the fire with more kindling or paper, could help restore the charm of this experience.

I also noticed a difference in the Entertainment Team and classes. Previously, the team was engaging, cheerful, and created a fun atmosphere throughout the day, and the classes were lively, enjoyable workouts. This time, the energy and engagement felt reduced, and I hope the vibrant atmosphere of earlier visits can be restored.

Overall, Body Holiday remains a unique and remarkable destination. With a few enhancements in staff engagement, attention to detail, and guest interaction, the experience could once again reflect the warmth and charm that have made it so special over the years.

Relaxation, Rejuvenation, Wellness, Natures Beauty, and pure Paradise!

The BodyHoliday was amazing! I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff, the food, the activities, the beautiful views, the daily spa treatment, the nightly entertainment and endless possible excursions was just out of this world. I truly felt like I was in paradise! I went solo for my 40th birthday as a gift to myself to relax and rejuvenate. I came feeling a little nervous being my first ever solo trip out of the country, and left feeling like I wish I could move to St. Lucia and live at the Body Holiday forever! It was truly a magical experience. My only regret was for not booking a longer stay. If you're looking for a place to relax, unwind, meet such friendly and welcoming people, and to try new things, i.e. Tai Chi, or Yoga on the beach, daily fitness, and all inclusive daily spa treatments of your choice, this is the place to book your next stay. I can't wait to book here again, and I will definitely book at least a full week to two weeks to be able to enjoy all that there is to offer here.

Wonderful as ever but some niggles

Wonderful as ever but some issues. I love love love the Bodyholiday which is why I return so often. It is my happy place. Just some niggles - served undercooked fish on two nights and some issues with bookings in the spa (extra treatments that I had paid for) that were not dealt with at all well when they were cancelled and left me very sad. Hoping all we be good for my October visit x

Best family holiday!

We all agreed that this is one of our best holidays ever and would really recommend this as an alternative to the busy beaches in Europe in summer. The weather was incredible, we had 2 thunder storms in 9 days, both lasted no more than half an hour.

As a family of 5 with older children aged 15/18/20 it is not easy to find a holiday that suits al of us, but this one could not have been better. We had 2 rooms, one for my husband and I and one next door with 2 double beds, the 2 boys shared one and our daughter in the other.

it is a long drive from the airport (over 1.5 hours for us), so definitely worth staying longer, we stayed for 9 nights following 4 nights in Grenada. It was still not long enough to do everything we wanted to try.
Usually we would start the day together at breakfast then all go off and do our own thing - for me that was usually yoga (Rushika and Cali were both amazing) or the morning walk, the boys played golf or went to the gym and my daughter liked to have her spa treatment at the start of the day.
activity highlights included our family pickleball sessions, paddle boarding, Pilates with Deano (he is a fantastic teacher), beach volleyball and the sunset cruise.

Daily spa treatments were brilliant, as the resort wasn't full we could change the schedule to suit our plans, I loved the body scrub and aloe vera wrap and the massages were a favourite for the boys, special mention to Georgia, she is a blind therapist and an inspiring lady -the facial reflexology that I paid extra for was a highlight of the whole holiday.

without exception the food was outstanding, from the Asian Bento box and fish skewers at lunch to the lobster at TAO which has just come into season.
Our son celebrated his 18th birthday and a highlight was walking to dinner with the steel pan band playing happy birthday to him - they team went all out to make it special.
whilst we were in bed by 10 each evening, the older boys tested the out the mantra of the 'piano bar is open until the last guest leaves' - they confirmed that this is true!

R&R at its best!

What a fantastic week at Body Holiday! The accommodations were wonderful, everyone was so incredibly friendly and we had an amazing time! Daily spa treatments, delicious food, more activities than we could fit into our 'busy vacation schedule' and an ambience that exceeded our expectations will have us going back for more! We arrived to the international airport and took the ferry which was a great choice. The scenery of the island and the brief overview of the history of the country and various ports was a perfect way to start the week. Overall the experience was magnificent.

Unique experience - health, relaxation and luxury

Second visit to the Body Holiday and every bit as good as the first. Wonderful, friendly and attentive staff - particularly the body guards and tennis and golf pros. The food was amazing - fresh, varied and delicious in each of the restaurants we visited. Infinitely better than in any all inclusive hotel I’ve been to before. Nice also that there is no hard “up-sell” by the staff for things you need to pay extra for. Really enjoyed the sessions from special guest Olympic gold medalist swimmer Breeja Larsson.

An epic birthday celebration!!!

I had the most fabulous time celebrating my birthday with friends. It was so special out on the beach at sunset next to the bonfire listening to a live saxophonist by sunset. The staff are so warm and engaging, nothing too much trouble. Yhasmine the GM and Kelly were exceptional hosts. I look forward to going back to create more wonderful memories. Thank you BodyHoliday

One of the best ever holidays

Honestly one of my best holidays ever. The welcome at the airport was the opener to a fantastic week on a beautiful island. We took the boat round to Rodney Bay then a connecting taxi. Beautiful way to arrive.
The hotel's reputation is very much earned and deserved. The staff are truly marvellous, from the reception, concierge, cleaners, table staff, bar staff, beach staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The standout stars of the show though have to be the Bodyguards. They are worth their weight in gold.
The standout stars are Darren, Mindy, Deano, Torell and Pauline. The performances they put on are brilliant and they are unbelievably fit. Their strength and diligence is commendable. They made beach fit/boot camp feel achievable which is a huge accomplishment in my eyes. My instructor could see the work I had put in last week which says a lot.
The vast array of food and drinks is of a very high quality. You could literally eat and drink from sunrise to sunset and beyond - wouldn't be such a healthy holiday at that point though ;-).
Yoga on the reefdeck, snorkelling, guided swimming and tubing all played a part in my schedule last week. All of it so good.
The final major attraction of this holiday is the inclusive spa treatments. Christie and Samia were just two of my wonderful therapists. They know their stuff and are kind and efficient. Strong hands make for great massages - just make sure they're not too tired.
The only minus I would have is that the bodyguards and the therapists all seem to be working very long schedules and I would say both areas are understaffed. These are good employees who you really should be trying to retain rather than working them to where they may feel they have to leave.
Our return to the airport doubled up as a tour of the island - our driver knew imparted every ounce of information with us as we drove over mountains and through the rainforest!
I have no doubt I will be back to the BodyHoliday for more amazing experiences.

Disappointing.

I have been nine times. Last time as a couple. Before as a single. The experience slowly deteriorated, from the afternoon tea to the entertainment which became none existent. I think the owner over extended by building two villas on sight, for families undermining the adult atmosphere. I and some friends I made there, said they wouldn't go again.

Genuine taste of St Lucia.. stress free and a loving community of staff and guests. 10 🌟

I cannot thank BodyHoliday enough for their help, love and attentiveness.

Firstly big shout out to Dion (Dijon) for being a stellar, stand up guy. My ex partner had needed to move hotel and booked into BH. D sensed his sadness and gave him the time of day and then continued to do so. So when I visited a day later, D checked in with me. You could sense the genuine empathy and it made us quite emotional.

Orlando and Vijay were as kind too. They gave us insight into St Lucian life and made us smile through a really difficult time.

Unlike the Royalton where we both originally stayed, staff were super attentive without needed to be asked. They just took it upon themselves to go the extra mile. Grabbing towels and making up sun loungers, refilling water or seeing if they could take a drinks order.

Another big shout out to Marie in the watersports team. We asked to use tbe kayaks and due to rougher waters, she paddle boarded to us to ensure we were safe and have us some advice so we didn't end up floating out and getting into dancer. Whilst there we also snorkelled (which was a scary 1st for me as I have a fear of deep sea and fish touching me) which was out of this world. I am so happy I did it because what I saw under water cannot be explained.

We also went on the Ring O's which was being sat in a ring and pulled at speed by boat. We screamed and laughed ao much. So thank you Marie, AJ, Andrenus, Chad, Donell, Kerby, Marie, Peterson, Shanicus, Thermal, Yakima and Zach.

You were all so amazing being on the beach, on boats and looking after us jn the blazing sun.

This hotel truly felt like a hiddem gem, going to show that big names might be well known but they are just corporations with less care for the consumer.

Its also a testament to BH that out of tbe guests I spoke to, every single one had visited more than once. It ranged from it being someone's 5th time to someone's 35th time. You offer so much variety that the few days I spent with you, were not enough. The only reason we left was because there were no more cheaper rooms, otherwise we would not have moved onto our third and final hotel.

The food was soooo good. I particularly loved the West Indian (saltfish, salad, a carribean roti wrap, hot sauce and pickle salad) and Asian Bento boxes (tuna sashimi, vermicelli noodles, a mix of sushi with wasabi and soy sauce and salad.) The jerk chicken wrap was amazing, as well as the the chimmichurri and goats cheese and the Vietnamese summer rolls.

The food was such good quality. Even the buffet food was tasty and warm (unlike the Royalton where it was tepid, watery and time consuming.)

I felt like a queen when staff asked if I wanted another drink. And when we did visit the bar, the wait was fast and effortless.

I only experienced one night of entertainment as my experience from the royalton had drained me and I needed early bed times. But we saw a brilliant singer (who I didn't write down his name) with a 3 piece band. They were incredible and made what they did look easy. Playing and singing an array of songs for all, getting people on their feet.

I barely got to fully explore this hotel and have just dipped my toe into the potential. My ex was offered free wellness treatments and staff continued to visit him at his room to see if he was ok.

Unlike the Royalton too, BodyHoliday really made an effort to celebrate his birthday with a mini cake, cava, tea and biscuits.

I can't explain how polls apart these two hotels are.

The fan in the room was powerful. The amount of activities you had were jaw dropping.

I really cannot thank you enough for giving me some rejuvenation after a really traumatic time at the other hotel that I dont even like writing their name.

Keep doing what you are doing because you have it spot on.

Ohh one last mentioned to the lovely lady who encouraged me to have a prosecco with my afternoon tea. Her name sounded like Setseema or Sepseema. She made me smile so much when she asked me what my name was and said she loved my energy. It made me smile because the Royalton had completely zapped me of my happiness and energy and it just went to show that BodyHoliday can restore the body and mind.

To everyone I encountered, may you be blessed. There are still good people in this world.

An exceptional resort, with fun at the heart

A truly exceptional resort. The staff are amazing and really make an effort to look after each and every guest. The activities are excellent, and made more fun by the unreal energy that the bodyguards put in to them. Food is great and lots of options to choose from.
There are so many repeat guests and that doesn’t happen by accident.
We met so many lovely people, and had an absolute blast, I was gutted to leave.

Amazing resort where you can be as healthy or as lazy as you like, and still leave feeling like a new person!

This was our fourth visit to Bodyholiday, and as always it was amazing. The class schedule is full, October is Yoga month so there is the additional focus there. You can be as active or as lazy as you like. The beach is lovely and clean, water is clear and resort overall beautifully presented. The butlers we had; Zeane, Shenelle, Ricky, Dilan & Paulinus were all extremely attentive and helpful, a fantastic team. All the restaurants (Cariblue, Windows and Tao) are great - the tasting menu at Windows could easily be compared to a Michelin-starred restaurant; Jamal the chef should be very proud of his team there. Brittney who was head of house at Windows was also really friendly. James, the sommelier, is delightful and really knows/loves his wine. Although I need to give him the heads up next time we go to make sure his rum menu is fully stocked, lol. The spa treatments are amazing, although after 85+ steps (I kept losing count) you definitely need one :-)
Absolutely would recommend this hotel/resort - it's our favourite place to go. and we will definitely be back.
