Amanda made the night

Dining at Gordon’s was an amazing experience. Amanda was amazing and made our night even more special. She was by far the most professional, funny and kind staff member we have encountered so far. Our drinks were always full and were taken care of for the entirety of our dinner.

The Grande Saint Lucian

This is our second time at the Grande St. Lucian. We stayed a few days at Halcyon before coming over to celebrate a friend’s 25th anniversary and vow renewal. When we arrived we found out that the room we booked was under renovation. The manager took us to our upgraded room which had an amazing view of the ocean. The room was spacious. The only downside for me was the bed was really high. A few days later they upgraded us to a Rondoval which was as close to perfect as could be for a free upgrade. Our friend’s vow renewal service was lovely and very well done. The staff did a great job with it. During the week we spent time in a cabana and Daisy was an amazing concierge server. She was kind, quick, and friendly. At the pool we met Kerlan. The bar was out of the grapefruit soda I love and he went out of his way to find me some. He even came to find me the following day and made sure I had it. He stopped and visited with us several times. Definitely the definition of good service! For breakfast we loved having Jessie make us omelets. We will miss her kind smile and good cooking when we get back home. Kayla and Storm at the pool bar were also fabulous!! They did a great job of making our drinks, remembering what we liked to drink and chatting when they weren’t busy making drinks. Overall the staff here is very friendly and polite. Almost everyone of them greet you as they walk by. The resort is beautiful and the food is good! We definitely want to come back!!

Anicia and Tashe are the stars of the show!

We stayed at the Sandals La Toc resort but took the shuttle over to spend the day at the Grande and have dinner at Gordon's. We had a lovely time at one of the quieter pools and watched the sunset in the aquahammock in the water. It was glorious.

We were given access to a courtesy room to shower and prepare for dinner, which was lovely. We were transformed!

We had an impeccable dinner at Gordon's, with the most attentive service provided by Tashe. She made recommendations for everything we ate and it was the most delicious meal! You can not beat the setting, either, we were seated right next to the water and in the moonlight you could see the little fish swimming off the pier!

We had an incredible time chatting with Anicia at the lobby bar. She treated us like old friends and had a great sense of humor. We danced the night away during the Reggae band and took the last shuttle back at 10pm.

This was a great visit that was made incredibly special by the service we received from Anicia and Tashe!

The Sandals Grande St Lucian has set the bar very high for future vacations!

We travel with Sandals often and this was our first time at the Grande St Lucian and most certainly will not be our last! We had an amazing trip and far surpassed any of our expectations. We were fortunate enough to have Butlers on this trip, not because we wanted them but becuase they came with the room that we wanted. Kenwin and Giselle were absolutely incredible! We have had butlers in the past when we traveled to Sandals in Jamaica and these folks were by far superior to any prior experiences we have had. Kenwin made sure when my husband was out scuba diving that I was well taken care of and even escorted me to the taxi when I went out on an excursion and made sure to tell me to call him when I was back on the resort and he made a point to check on me to be sure everything went well on my tour and that I didn’t need anything upon my return. General Manager Della was out and about daily and I was so impressed at how engaged she was with the staff and the guests throughout the day! She even made a point to meet with everyone on day of check out and see us off when the bus came to pick us up. Everyone on the resort seemed very genuine in their concern for everyone having a good experience and it showed!!

From the moment we arrived, we felt like royalty. Karen, Ellone, and Tamara greeted us with warmth and genuine joy, and from then on every detail was flawlessly handled. They surprised us with thoughtful touches — champagne on ice and private breakfasts and lunches served on our deck as the sun sparkled over the turquoise water.

They anticipated our needs before we could ask — morning lattes at sunrise, favorite snacks and drinks magically stocked. Each day felt effortless and full of small surprises that made us feel celebrated and cared for.

If you want relaxation with beautiful views, Sandals Grande St Lucian is the place to go!

This was our 5th stay in 4 years here at Sandals Grande St Lucian (SGSL). Clearly it has our hearts. Before visiting SGSL we were avid lovers of Sandals Emerald Bay (which is currently under renovation to become a Beaches). We’ve visited many Sandals and SGSL is by far our favorite. Tell Nevil that J&J will be back in February! I loved spending my free time playing the games at the pool, participating in the activities. Nevils laugh is contagious. I can still hear him laughing. I miss him already ❤️. We’ve become so comfortable here that many of the staff are now family. Sanjay, Asson and Heather we’ve known since 2021. Every visit we book the stage cabana. You can’t go wrong booking. For those, like us, who usually book a club level room…booking a cabana is a way to have your spot for the day reserved. Heather and Sanjay are the dream team for cabana butlers! Asson fills in when he’s not stocking rooms. They will make your day! It’s so relaxing to go to your cabana and not have to worry about a thing. They bring your drinks, snacks, lunch. All the things. And please don’t forget to tip them! They are excluded from the no tipping policy because they’re considered butlers.
There is also someone else I’d like to mention….it’s someone who I’ve been privileged to get to know over the years. His name is Michael. He takes care of the beach, rakes and cleans everything up. Every time we visit, I visit with him. He’s wise beyond his years and so very kind. And the smiles he gives brighten up the darkest of clouds.
Because of our first visit here in 2021 and first to the island of St Lucia, we ended up buying a boat and sending it down there to start our own excursion company. SGSL has made an impact on us…The staff, the property, the island…all for the better.
Things to do while at Sandals Grande St Lucian:
1. Hike Pigeon Mountain…easy walk off the beach near Butches. The most amazing views.
2. Get a massage outdoors at RedLane. The sound of nature makes it all the more relaxing
3. Book a cabana! And tip the cabana butlers 😉
4. Enjoy a night at the bar near Kimonos,Soy and Bombay. It’s a hidden gem with peaceful tree frogs and a beautiful setting.
5. Take an excursion and do the mud bath!
6. Relax…it’s your vacation after all!

Cheers to an aq

An amazing experience worth returning to. If you're looking for great beach, excellent entertainment and all day activities, sandals grande is the place for u. We return every year for my birthday and always have the time od our life.

Bar tenders like Matthew, Claudia and Remy will have every one at their bar laughing and having a good time. The know how to keep the drinks coming and the quality flowing. Lisa the restaurant supervisor is amazing. She is like a gem at the resort, nothing is too much for hwr to assist with. Chef Harish always checks on us at Bombay and the tye beach side restaurant. He loves to ensure his guest are happy. Kimonos restaurant is definitely one to try. Its a different experience but definitely worth your time. More of a group arrangement where the food is prepared right infront of you.

Be sure to stop by and say hello.to the entertainment team. They have some amazing dance moves to share.

Great honeymoon

We had a wonderful honeymoon at Sandals Grande St Lucian. The resort was very quiet as some of the rooms were under renovation and were closed out but there was no noise at all and it didn't impact our stay. It was actually really nice that it was quieter round the pool etc. All staff were amazing and really friendly but stand out team members for us were:

Aqua fitness - Nyah (made the workout really fun an engaging)
Gordon’s - CJ and Philip (both SO lovely!)
Bayside - Shervon, Jadel and Bianca
Toscanini - Julita
Pool bar - Aanicia (SO smiley and friendly) and Alex
Ground staff - Michael

The restaurants are amazing, especially Bombay, and the beach is gorgeous. It's a bit more of a drive to get to from the airport but worth it. I'd recommend this resort to anyone!

YASSSSSS Sandals' Grande St.Lucia!!!

My actual stay was 9/28-10/2.
I absolutely loved EVERY minute of my vacation!!! The atmosphere, food, rooms, and staff...top notch... I MUST shout out to certain staff members who provided EXCEPTIONAL service...Cherish, Abigail, Natalie( kept our room soooo clean), Laurin, Leona, Remi ( LOVE that Strip Club Sandwich drink), Trini, and Yasmin...you all ROCK!!! Truth be told ALL the staff rocked!! There was only 1 issue, the second night our A/C went out and the room was unbearably hot. When I notified the staff, they immediately tried to get it fixed but were unable to , so they changed our room with no hesitation the next day. I am now a LIFETIME member of Sandals...I don't even want to visit any other resort.

A wonderful holiday

We had one of the best holidays at sandals St Lucia the grand. The food in Toscaninis was amazing serve by Julita a very special person. She couldn’t do enough for us. All the staff were amazing. Kerlen was so lovely bringing us drinks all the time. Bianca served us most days for our meals lovely lady ,had some laughs with her. Gregg in the old London put was very nice. Food was good also. Eddie the pool maintenance man he bought us towels and shaped them like hearts. Remi and Matthew were fun at the pool side bar we had lots of laughter making my special cocktails.Lisa at the swim up pool bar we had lots of laughter with her. Veronica our house keeping lady done a brilliant job. Thank you all you made our holiday so special.

A Slice of Paradise at Sandals St. Lucia!

Our stay at Sandals St. Lucia was nothing short of incredible. The resort is stunning, the food was delicious, and the vibe was pure relaxation — but what truly made it unforgettable was the amazing staff.

Everyone we met was warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay perfect. A special thank you to Resort Staff Director David, whose leadership and personal touch made all the difference. You can truly feel his passion throughout the resort — he checked in with us personally and made sure every detail was flawless.

Overall experience

My wife and I decided to bring some friends down to this resort as a getaway and a time to hangout. The shuttle in was a little under 2 hours but despite the ride itself we had wonderful drivers to and from the resort. Upon arrival we had a wonderful welcome from the staff. After being escorted to the lounge, staff asked how the trip down was and what had brought us to the resort. After getting a snack and some refreshments, we were then brought to our room where they had our luggage placed on the bed. We had arrived Monday evening and departed Sunday morning. We enjoyed every minute of our trip from arrival to excursions to hanging by the pool. We had several staff members make the trip more than memorable. Exceptional members include:
Hetra (server), Anicia (bartender), Nevil (entertainment), Casious (entertainment), Shevron (server), Denson (bartender), Matthew (bartender), Mocha, Tamika, Leana Lewis, Orion (bartender)
Needless to say my wife and I will be returning and want to encourage anyone who might be hesitant to book with Sandals to book it! A trip we will remember forever. We are very blessed to be able to take trips outside of our country and getting to know these people beyond work and sharing experiences and laughs while we stay. Thank you again to these people for making us feel welcomed and bringing laughter to our lives.

The Most Incredible Honeymoon Experience

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Sandals Grande Saint Lucia, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the breathtaking views to the exceptional service, everything was perfect — but what made it unforgettable was the staff.

Every single person we met went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Eddie, the pool guy, always greeted us with a smile and great conversation in the early mornings. Regina kept the good vibes flowing at the bar, and the nightly shows were full of incredible talent and energy — Neville especially had us laughing nonstop and made every evening a blast.

But the highlight of our trip was Mauka. He brought us out of our shells, hosted the best pool games, and made us feel like part of the Sandals family from day one. He truly made our honeymoon unforgettable — we’ll be coming back just to see our new friends again!

If you’re considering this resort, don’t hesitate — it’s paradise with the warmest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet.

Very nice but would stay at the Halcyon on our next visit to St. Lucia

We visited Sandals Grande St. Lucia this past February and had a lovely time overall, though there were a few areas that could be improved. The resort itself is beautiful, but we noticed some challenges with the beach chair system. By our third day, we realized that many guests were arranging to reserve their preferred spots early, which made it a bit difficult to find available seating along the beach. We also noticed the atmosphere felt quite busy, though this seemed more related to the mix of guests rather than the resort itself.

We did our best to enjoy the various amenities, though we found that restaurant reservations worked similarly to specialty dining on a cruise ship and required some advance planning. The food was pleasant, though it didn't quite reach the elevated level we had anticipated given the resort's reputation.

During our stay, there happened to be an annual staff celebration taking place near our room, which was quite lively and went on for a while in the evening.

Despite these minor challenges, we truly appreciated the natural beauty of the island itself. St. Lucia is absolutely stunning, and we would definitely consider returning to explore other properties. The sunsets were breathtaking and the water activities were wonderful highlights of our trip. While the price point is on the higher side, we feel there's room for the experience to better match the investment. If we were to try Sandals again, we'd be interested in visiting the Halcyon property, which had a more relaxed atmosphere when we stopped by during our stay.

This is the place!

My Husband and I visited the Grande St. Lucia for 7 nights and had the BEST TIME! We have visited 3 Sandals resorts and this is by far our favorite. One thing that makes this resort so special is the staff. Specifically Claudia, Denson, Oreion, and Kareem the dream. They all took the time out of their day to make sure we were having a great time and make us feel special. The resort itself is a bit dated but currently going through renovations so we look forward to returning once that is complete. I enjoyed a massage with Cynthia at the spa, she is truly talented. All of the food we had was delicious especially the lamb at Bayside and the Indian at Bombay. We can’t wait to return!

Great times at the Grande

We had 14 glorious days at the Grande St Lucian again. This was our 10th stay at the Grande & as always we had a fantastic time. Upon arrival we found out that 3 out of the 6 accommodation blocks were being refurbished & due to open on the last day of our stay. This meant that occupancy was low at 40%, which we found very nice as it was relatively quiet around the resort. Our Caribbean walkout deluxe room was cleaned daily & well stocked, thank you housekeeping. It was my wife's 60th birthday whilst we were there, and we were able to arrange dinner at Gordon's (with the help of Wendy & Kareem) with all of our staff friends. It was a great night. A big thank you to everyone who helped to organise it & to Winston for taking time out to dine with us to. As always, we had a great fun with all the staff, especially Eva, Gania, Gregory & Denson in the Olde Pub, Remy, Matthew, Neil & all the guys at the beach & lobby bars. Front of house, Kadijah & Jacqueline were great. A big thank you to Nadia who made sure everything was just perfect for us. Thanks to Clifford, who was very approachable for any questions we had. Neville, Anderson, Cassius & all the entertainment guys & girls were fantastic & put on great shows as always. All the restaurant staff including Tessa, Lisa, Pamela, Julita, Harish & Philip to name a few, made our dining experience all the better for them being there. Travis & all the garden staff who keep the grounds looking immaculate. All the dive team & water sports. Thank you to Terrol & Termesha for organising the boat trip, great fun! Last but not least, Wendy, who has become a very good friend over the years & always makes time to chat & check everything is ok with us. A massive thank you to everyone at the Grande, you guys always make our stay so memorable & great fun. See you all next year!

Sandals Grande St. Lucia

This was our second time to the St. Lucia Grande. We enjoyed it very much. The location of the main pool to the beach is excellent. The entertainment is 5-star. There was lots of food but the food quality was average. The resort is undergoing renovations so the occupancy was very low. This was wonderful. We didn't have to fight for a chair at the pool or beach. No lines at the bars or for any dining. We did visit the other two resorts and the Grande is by far the shining star!

I would like to see the No Smoking policy enforced across the Sandals brand. This was our 3rd stay this year and each time guests were smoking/vaping in the pool and at the bars. Many guests walk the property openly smoking. I do see smoking areas at all the resorts but no enforcement for guests to use these areas. I understand they want to smoke but it shouldn't be tolerated in the pools, at the bars or in common areas.

I also would like Sandals to offer a variety of beer choices in bottles or cans. I do not care for draft beer and that is all that was available at this resort. Typically, the pub offers Stella in a bottle but not at the Grande.

Our room was a club room. Nothing special. The bed was comfortable, the a/c was cold and housekeeping was good. The bathtub filled up with water whenever we showered. It was obvious this was a known issue but nothing was done to fix the problem.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was another good experience at Sandals. I'm not sure we will come back. The distance from the airport is something we did not care for. It is the reason it took us 20 years to return to the Grande from our initial visit.

We did rent the large beach cabana and Daisy and Darnell were excellent butlers for the day. Daisy would make an excellent room butler. She went above and beyond to meet our needs and ensure my sisters birthday was special!

Genil from the pool bar and Remy at the beach bar are shining stars!

St. Lucia is a beautiful island.
