Towards the back of the beach there is shade provided by the tall palm trees and the hotel provides sunbeds and some small tables. Guests can pull beds out on to sand into direct sunlight.
Also tucked away at the back corner of the Beach was the Elite Beach and it's Bar for exclusive use of the Hotel's Elite Member guests.
Our normal routine was to spend a few hours on the cabanas on the Elite Beach then move on to the main beach for the afternoon.
A number of beach sellers walk up and down the beach selling a variety of goods including cigars, rum, sunglasses, clothing, hats, caps, wooden carvings, fruit and so much more. We were amused how they transported their goods along the beach, in baskets, tables on their heads, plastic bags and other imaginative means.
The Coral Bar, is located in the grounds of the Hotel, it abuts the beach is only a short walk away.
From the Scuba Caribe kiosk on the beach guests can book parachute rides, boat tours and other water activities.
This is a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters, however a lot of seaweed gets washed in, it does get cleaned up.
Looking down the beach, to the left when facing the sea, there is the sister hotel, Riu Bamboo and it's part of the Beach.

This is a strech of golden sandy beach with beautiful blue/green waters of the Caribbean Sea. It's is located outside the Hotel Riu Palace Macao where we stayed from the 15th to 29th May.Towards the back of the beach there is shade provided by the tall palm trees and the hotel provides sunbeds and some small tables.
