Wonderful for Families, Couples, or Singles

We had a wonderful week with friends and family at this all inclusive resort. Despite the rain that was out of anyone's control, the staff had plenty for us to do and keep us entertained. Our attendant Licenciado Graviel Andrés made sure that we were taken care of and helped iron out any issues throughout our stay. We'll be back for sure!

This was my second time visiting Lopesan Costa Bávaro. The second time was a charm. We tried the unique tier and it truly changed our experience. While all the staff was very nice and respectful, Marsela who checked us in and out , made us feel very welcome from start to finish.

The Entertainment Team is the Heart of this Resort!

My recent stay at the Lopesan Costa Bavaro was elevated from a nice trip to a truly special experience thanks entirely to the incredible entertainment team.
Their energy is absolutely intoxicating—it's impossible not to smile and join in! A huge shout-out to Polemon, Choco, and Kervens (and the whole team) for their exceptional commitment. They were not only fun and lively but also genuinely attentive and encouraging.
I went hoping for a relaxing time, and while it was peaceful, I found myself getting caught up in the fun because of their wonderful spirit. They made me feel so welcome and encouraged me to have a good time in a way that was never pushy, just pure fun.
Beyond the daytime activities, the dancers and evening shows were highly entertaining and did an excellent job of engaging the crowds every night.
If you are visiting this resort, do not miss out on the activities they host. The entertainment team is phenomenal and truly made my vacation memorable. Thank you all so much!

A disastrous stay on an island that deserves better!!!

The hotel staff scammed us as soon as we arrived, claiming that the Booking.com system had not correctly calculated the cost of our stay.
After an eight-hour flight, jet lag, and very few hotels available nearby, we had no choice but to pay an additional USD 4,400 on top of our stay initially priced at USD 6,700.
What followed was a shocking series of problems: beds not prepared for our children, malfunctioning air conditioning (too cold, with excessive humidity), repeated power outages (lasting more than four hours each time), a faulty safe, Traces and odor of urine detected in our suitcase (see attached photo of socks found yellow and soaked), activities offered by the hotel that were overpriced and uninteresting, and staff who would only serve you if you tipped them.
In short, a beautiful island, but an experience that definitely doesn’t make you want to come back.
As a wrap up:
- Unjustified extra charges and numerous malfunctions (unworthy of a 5-star hotel) (room materials: doors can't close in bathroom, damaged cupboard, drwaers can't close...)
- Arrogant and condescending staff.
- Frequent power cuts that raise serious concerns about the freshness of some food products (we got sick several times, vomiting and stomach pains).
- Scams regarding some of the activities offered.
- Some food items and even products available in the room were of questionable quality (cf: photos of chicken and coffee sticks)
- Restaurants must be booked in advance, otherwise it’s impossible to dine in some of them.

My recent stay at Lopesan Costa Bavaro

We had an amazing experience at the Unique club at Lopesan Costa Bavaro. We booked a junior swim up room, located right at the beach. Checking in was a breeze, very kind and polite front desk staff. Then we were asigned to Luis who was our butler and I may absolutely day he is the best thing that you can have in this beautiful place. He goes above and beyond to meet all your needs promptly and accurately, very kind, always smiling and ready to help. I strongly recommend Luis to anyone who is booking Unique. The room was beautiful and perfectly maintained every single day. I’m in awe with the staff and service of the hotel. Food was great, drinks were good, beach is pristine and beautiful. Service on the beach is excellent, everyone is so friendly and always smiling. Love this place and will definitely return.

Oliver the mayordomo

Lopesan resort was a beautiful resort and eve though the weather wasn’t as great because there was a storm in the Caribbean we enjoyed and the people who work there like our assigned butler Oliver he was the best. Excellent place!! Graviel Andres was my buttler and he did not disappoint!! He introduced us to the resort with class and etiquette!! He made sure our service was always first class!! A honeymoon that will last forever!!!

We just returned from a six-day honeymoon at the incredible Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino, and it was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations — the resort is breathtaking, the food was phenomenal, and the service was impeccable.

A very special thank you goes to our amazing butler, Mr. Oliver, who made our honeymoon truly magical. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and thoughtful, anticipating our every need before we even had to ask. Thanks to him, we never had to wait in line or worry about a single thing — every dinner, activity, and detail was perfectly arranged for us. His dedication and warmth made us feel so special throughout our stay.

We spent our days swimming in the crystal-clear ocean, relaxing by the beautiful pools, and enjoying some of the best cuisine we’ve ever had at an all-inclusive resort. Every moment felt luxurious, peaceful, and full of joy — exactly what we hoped for in our honeymoon getaway.

We are already planning our return trip for next year, and without a doubt, we’ll be requesting Mr. Oliver again. Thank you, Lopesan Costa Bávaro, for giving us the honeymoon of our dreams and memories we will cherish forever.

Great experience

Isauri De Los Santos is a great butler. We had a great experience with him. He was very accommodating and was replying even on his time off. I highly recommend him.

Great stay

First time at Lopesan and our butler Isaury De Los Santos was amazing and took care of all of our issues even after his shift. He was always on standby for whenever we needed his assistance. I highly recommend him.
