A must stay in Jamaica

Everything was beautiful at this resort. The staff was amazing from the butlers( Alexis and Dennis) to all the bartenders (Rhajhane and Tristian). The butlers did a great job with decorating the room for special occasions and literally taking care of all your needs. This is definitely not my last time visiting this resort.

Princess Senses – Platinum Club Honeymoon Review

Our honeymoon stay at Princess Senses was filled with warmth, relaxation, and thoughtful service. Although a swim out suite was not available online when we booked, the team graciously accommodated us with an upgrade the following day, which was a wonderful way to begin our stay.

From arrival, Romario welcomed us with genuine kindness and professionalism. Our butlers, Alexis and Dennis, were truly exceptional, personable, attentive, and proactive in every way. They anticipated our needs, offered helpful insights, and made us feel genuinely cared for. Their service alone set a high standard for hospitality.

As a pescatarian, I found the dining options somewhat limited and often resorted to fruits and vegetables. I would have appreciated a wider selection of seafood entrées, such as jerk or grilled fish options. Once I shared this with Alexis and Dennis, they kindly arranged for the chef to prepare customized meals, which was a thoughtful gesture that made all the difference. While this was made possible through Platinum Club privileges, it raised the question of what flexibility is available to guests without that access.

The pool experience offered a perfect blend of relaxation and activity, and the 11:00 a.m. aquatics class quickly became one of my favorite parts of the day. The gym was modern and spotless, though additional treadmills would be helpful since they were consistently in use. I looked forward to participating in the yoga class, but it began late due to the instructor’s delayed arrival. I would have gladly returned for future sessions if adjustments had been made to ensure timeliness.

The spa was serene and beautifully maintained. Our couples massage was outstanding, and both masseuses were skilled and attentive. However, we were not provided robes and only learned about hydrotherapy access after inquiring about sunbathing. A brief orientation or reminder of available amenities would make the experience even more seamless.

While many staff members were warm and accommodating, there were moments when some wait staff appeared inattentive or dismissive when approached with questions, an observation echoed by other guests as well. Consistent attentiveness across all service areas would align every interaction with the resort’s otherwise high standards.

My husband and I considered extending our stay by an additional night, but the reservation desk declined to price match online rates and was unwilling to offer a goodwill discount, even after we had paid extra for the swim out upgrade. This was disappointing, especially as we were celebrating our honeymoon. A small gesture of flexibility or acknowledgment would have left a lasting impression and reinforced our desire to return.

A few enhancements that would elevate the guest experience even further include:
• Mosquito control: Routine room spraying would improve comfort significantly.
• Beach conditions: The water was less clear than expected, and the rocky bottom made swimming uncomfortable.
• Snack bar and dining variety: Adding salads, yogurts, and light desserts, along with faster poolside service, would enhance convenience.
• Arrival experience: A chilled towel, glass of champagne, or infused water upon check in would feel refined and welcoming.
• Evening entertainment: Introducing outdoor live music or cultural performances would bring more vibrancy to the nights and complement the resort’s ambiance.

Though still in its first year, Princess Senses has tremendous potential. The setting is beautiful, the Platinum Club amenities are promising, and the butler team truly embodies five star service. With continued refinement in communication, dining variety, and management flexibility, this resort can become one of the Caribbean’s most sought after destinations.

We are sincerely grateful for the genuine care shown by Romario, Alexis, and Dennis, whose professionalism and kindness made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. With thoughtful attention to the areas noted above, we would be delighted to return and proudly share our wonderful experience with others who seek a relaxing and refined getaway.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our Best Resort Experience Ever — Thanks to Dennis & Alexis!

I normally don’t leave reviews, but our stay at Princess Senses The Mangrove was so incredible that I felt I had to share it. Everyone deserves to know about this place!

We booked the Platinum Junior Suite, and from the minute we arrived, we were treated like royalty. We were greeted with a welcome drink, given a tour of the STUNNING property, and introduced to our amazing butlers, Dennis and Alexis. They personally brought us to our room, gave us a full walkthrough, and made sure we knew how to take advantage of every amenity.

We’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts with butler service, but we have never experienced the level of attentiveness, care, and genuine warmth that Dennis and Alexis provided. Dennis went above and beyond, making all our dinner reservations, giving us great recommendations, and always checking in to make sure we were happy. He never came empty-handed and often surprised us with thoughtful touches, beautifully decorating our room and even filling the Jacuzzi for us multiple times.

Alexis was equally wonderful. When I mentioned that I had never had a fresh coconut before, she actually went off resort to find one and brought it to me the next day! That small gesture meant so much and really showed how much they both cared about making our experience special.

By the end of our 6-day stay, we truly felt like family. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for what they do made this trip unforgettable.

As for the resort itself, it is absolutely beautiful. The food was incredible... literally the best chicken wings of our lives at the MVP sports bar, Azure snack bar had amazing food especially the salmon tartare. Even room service was incredible, the pizza and burger were made so well
Also the blue mountain cafe was open 24 hours and was unbelievable coffee, and a nice spot for a quick dessert, sandwich, or ice cream. If you are looking for good food, I promise you'll be impressed here.

The beach was huge, and there are multiple pools, restaurants, and quiet areas to explore. Because it’s such a large property, there were times it felt a bit empty, but that’s part of its charm. Plenty of space to relax and never overcrowded. We also visited during the off-season, and since the resort is still quite new, I think it’s only going to get busier from here. There is no way this place stays a secret.

Honestly, we feel lucky to have stayed here for the price we did. It felt like a true luxury experience, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the rates go up as word gets out. The only mystery that remains is why there’s a telephone in the washroom. Still trying to figure that one out! 😂

If you’re considering Princess Senses The Mangrove, book it! And if you can, request Dennis and Alexis as your butlers. They made this trip the best resort experience we’ve ever had, and we’re already dreaming of coming back (next time for longer)!!

40th Birthday Celebration at Princess Senses The Mangrove

I had the pleasure of staying at this resort for my 40th birthday. My friends and I were here for a total of four nights and the experience was spectacular. The staff were so attentive and the resort itself was top notch. I really appreciate Shanagaye Simpson for assisting us during the entire stay. She was extremely pleasant and just a beautiful person. Franz was one of the bar attendants and he was also amazing. I just can’t say enough. I will be back!!

11/10 Experience at Princess Senses of Mangrove, Jamaica!

Our stay at Princess Senses of Mangrove was absolutely incredible—an easy 11 out of 10! From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive, kind, and so accommodating. We loved it so much that we extended our stay—special thanks to Dana for helping us make that happen effortlessly!

Before arriving, I worked with Everley from Guest Services to plan a surprise suite decoration for my boyfriend’s 50th birthday. We connected via WhatsApp and came up with the perfect package—balloons, cake, and champagne. It turned out beautifully and made the celebration unforgettable.

The bartenders—Demoy, Cristal, and Felicia—were delightful, always friendly and ready with a great drink and a smile. The entire property is stunning, from the beautifully maintained grounds to the relaxed, luxurious atmosphere that makes you never want to leave.

We can’t wait to come back—thank you, Princess Senses of Mangrove, for an experience that went above and beyond!

THE BEST!! Big up Ashley ent supervisor!!!

Ashley ent supervisor, Berry and miles I met them at the club and they were the absolutely the best. Entertaining, talented, sweet and they stayed with me even after their shift. Joy in the middle of a storm

We were here for 5 nights and the hotel and accommodations were amazing but we honestly had the most fun when we should have been sad because we couldn't go home but the entertainment team @Berry
and @Kemar really changed the atmosphere we had fun we laughed and forgot a hurricane was coming. They really brought joy to a sad situation. Thanks entertainment team! We had a blast!!!!

Amazing hotel and staff

We would highly recommend this hotel. We came for our honeymoon and it’s been great. The food is amazing. Plenty of places to eat and drink. All the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much for them. The Entertainment staff - Kemar, Berry, Flames and Riley have been great and trying to keep people occupied and entertained.
There’s plenty of space to lounge around including the pool areas and beach. The pools are well kept and the pool attendant Ackeem who was lovely! If I could write everyone’s names on here I would! Andre and Keem have been great as our butlers (we stayed in the platinum suites). Thank you to everyone!

Overall Great time

My time here was honestly an overall amazing experience at this hotel from great food to luxurious accommodations. But I must mention Donald from the entertainment team, who undoubtedly made this trip so much more memorable. He was absolutely amazing: friendly, engaging, and full of energy a sure 10/10. He went above and beyond to make sure guests were having a great time, and his personality truly made the experience so much better. I even went home with a few new dance moves. The accommodations, food, entertainment and welcoming staff made this trip one for the books!

Beautiful resort but Major Service and Booking issues. Disappointing overall experience.

I hosted my wedding for 50 guests at the Princess Mangrove Adults Resort in Jamaica. While the resort is undeniably beautiful and the on-site wedding team was exceptional, the overall experience left much to be desired.

Upon arrival, I did not receive the upgraded suite that was guaranteed in my wedding contract and had to wait until the following day to be properly accommodated. Several of my guests also encountered issues with their room assignments, as the swim-out suites they had paid for were unavailable. They spent several hours negotiating with the front desk to find a resolution after being told their rooms would be downgraded due to overbooking.

My aunt, who is partially disabled and relies on a mobility scooter, arrived at the resort around 4 p.m. but did not receive her room until 9 p.m. because of the overbooking of double-bed rooms and the staff’s inability to effectively manage the situation.
To make matters worse, the power went out for about an hour while I was getting my makeup done on my wedding day.
While the property and wedding staff were wonderful, the resort’s management and guest service operations need significant improvement to ensure a smooth experience for future guests especially for those traveling for such important occasions.
