A fabulous vacation at the Impressive Premium.

My teenage children and I stayed at the Impressive Premium and had a wonderful vacation! The atmosphere was inviting, our room spacious and clean and the service from staff was great. The beach staff worked hard to clear the sargassum on a daily basis. Would definitely go back and highly recommend the Impressive Premium; we enjoyed the extras that the Premium afforded us; the beach, two pools and access to all of the restaurants and a small buffet just off of the lobby.

Disappointing Stay – Not What We Expected

I really struggled with whether to write this review because I know the hospitality industry depends on guest satisfaction, and I don’t enjoy leaving negative feedback. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing.

Our stay got off to a rough start at check-in. We arrived around 5:00 p.m. and were told our assigned room had a leak, so we had to wait for another room. We weren’t able to access our room until approximately 6:30 p.m.—nearly two hours later.

Once we got to the room, we discovered it wasn’t properly prepared. We didn’t have enough towels for everyone, and one of the beds didn’t even have a comforter. We requested both items numerous times. The housekeeper told us we needed to speak with a supervisor, which was surprising considering these are basic room necessities.

After multiple calls to the front desk, messages through the resort’s customer chat, and even a trip back to the lobby, we finally received what we needed. What was especially disappointing was being asked by the front desk why we needed extra towels, even though the room had not been adequately stocked from the start.

The dining experience has been equally frustrating. Every à la carte restaurant was fully booked until Sunday—the exact day we check out. It’s disappointing to pay for an all-inclusive vacation only to find that the advertised dining options aren’t actually available during your stay. It honestly gave the impression that Premium guests receive priority while standard guests are left with very limited options. Regardless of the package purchased, every guest deserves a fair opportunity to enjoy the amenities they paid for.

The most concerning experience happened at the buffet. I watched another guest place a communal serving spoon directly against his nose before returning it to the food station. I immediately informed the executive chef, who was standing nearby, and politely asked if the serving utensil would be replaced. He completely ignored my concern. As someone who values food safety, I found that response unacceptable.

If this stay had been refundable, I honestly would have left within a few hours of arriving.

I hope management views this review as an opportunity to improve. No guest should spend their vacation chasing down towels and bedding, struggling to access the restaurants included in their stay, or feeling that legitimate sanitation concerns are ignored. We came here expecting a relaxing vacation, but instead we’ve spent much of our time dealing with preventable issues.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously because the staff has the opportunity to turn these experiences around. Based on our stay, however, I would not choose this resort again or recommend it to family and friends

Excellent family holiday- would return

We’ve just spent a week here and had an excellent holiday - would definitely recommend.
Our girls, aged 12 and 8, were sexcited to go to the Kids Club every day. There’s a really good range of activities running throughout the day. Our two especially loved the tie dye workshop, ice cream party, and bracelet making.
Special mention to Alexandra and Lily who are so enthusiastic and work very hard to make sure all children feel included no matter the language or age. They’ve been brilliant with both of our girls despite the age gap.

Excellent entertainment, both daytime and evening. Morning yoga was excellent, and there’s a variety of activities on offer each day. The entertainment team were great - big shout out to Chocolate who made us feel so welcome during all the activities. Even though we were one of the few English-speaking families, he made a special effort. Also want to mention Spaghetti, Chocolatina, 911, Caramelo, Gigi and others whose names I didn’t get. We thoroughly enjoyed all the games.

Choice of food was good. Tip: go to the buffet earlier because there are queues later on. The à la cartes are worth trying - our favourites were the Italian and On The Grill.

Room was nice and cleaned every day. We had an issue when we first arrived as there was only one bed in the room for us, however they soon changed that and moved us to a more suitable room.
In terms of language, it is mainly Spanish speaking as the majority of guests are from South America - Chile, Colombia, Panama, Brazil, etc. Knowing a few keywords got us by fine and all the staff were very friendly to us.
Pools were cleaned daily. Only negative is that the bottom of the pool needs to be repaired - we cut ourselves a few times on rough spots.

Overall, excellent holiday. Highly recommend.
