Ramon is the best!
Ramon at the guitar pool is the best! We never had an empty cup and he went out of his way to get specialty drinks that weren’t stocked at his bar. He always had a smile and a special surprise when delivering the drinks. I won’t ruin the surprise will be ready for a show!!!

Ramon is incredible! He’s always smiling, full of energy, and genuinely goes out of his way for everyone. You can tell how hard he works, and it makes such a difference he makes every moment around the pool fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. People like him are what make a holiday unforgettable!
The hotel itself is perfect spotlessly clean, and the staff truly go above and beyond in every way. The food is great, and the all-inclusive is exactly what you’d expect, but what makes it even better is the variety. There are food trucks everywhere and so many amazing restaurants to choose from. You’ll never get bored or go hungry here!

My 13 year ordered an Omelette at breakfast and was then told to pay $1 for it even though it is all inclusive hotel, we choose to tip for good service when received not before and definitely not be held to ransom.
I cannot praise the doctor and staff at the hotel enough as they were super helpful and attentive. Romon at the Guitar cannot do enough to make your days by the pool relaxed and fun, nothing was too much trouble for him.

Average so so vacation
We have been to this resort many times as we are legendary members, in the past we only had very positive comments concerning our visits. Unfortunately cannot say very many positive things for our recent visit. First let me say that the service provided from the staff members was absolutely excellent at all levels, from housekeeping to food and beverage services. However the quality of the actual food was completely unacceptable, unseasoned steaks, imitation pizzas, pastas that would be thrown in trash if they were served in Italy, etc.... The drinks and beverages were all very good however. Now for the room, very spacious, very clean, well stocked mini-bar, but unfortunately the AC was so loud it was very difficult to sleep. We had two rooms and the same noise problem in both rooms, obviously very little thought was given when they renovated a few years ago. The main building has absolutely lost its resort vibe it had a few years ago, it now looks more like a shopping mall with shops everywhere, and by the way nothing is included as it use to be...you are charged fir everything except food and drink. I do not belive we will be going back anytime soon, but good news is that moon palace punta cana will be opening next spring and it is just next door.

We had the BEST and I mean hands down the BEST service form Ramon at the Guitar pool. This man became our extended family. He anticipated our needs and brought us things before we could even ask. But, it was his flair and his HUGE heart that captivated us. He brought drinks balances on his head, a bicycle and even got into the pool with the drink on his head to deliver it!!!! I have never seen anything like it! He genuinely cares for his new family...us!!!! I could not be more grateful for how he cared for us. Hard Rock should definitely have him teach customer service to his coworkers as there are not enough Ramons!
The food was good and we had many choices. Angel in Ciao was a fabulous waiter and always had a table ready for us. We so appreciated him! We ate at Zen 3 times as the food was delicious and service outstanding.
This is our 4th time at this report and they have renovated many areas and continue to make improvements.

We had a lovely time 10/19-19/26. We brought our adult children this time and they also loved it. The weather was over at and at time rainy the entire week due to tropical storm Melissa which turned into a hurricane as we were leaving. Despite the weather not being the typical sunshine we were not hindered by it in anyway. The red flag was up at the beach the entire week due to riptides but again, we could wade in the ocean without issue as long as we did not go out too far.We had the BEST and I mean hands down the BEST service form Ramon at the Guitar pool. The nightclub Oro is located inside the casino and is lit🔥!!!!! It’s nonstop Latin music with a splash of everything else🎶. Don’t skip this. There are plenty activities, shops, restaurants, bars and shows to enjoy. You’ll never be bored.

Beautiful and Grand
This hotel is massive with around 1700 rooms which are very nice. They all have jacuzzi tubs on the balconies. I’m giving it. 4 out of 5 because the property is so large that you’ll find yourself doing a lot of walking to get to simple places like breakfast and to all the luxuries that are located in the lobby area. There are trams that will take you from your room to were all the action is at the lobby, however they are very unreliable especially the later it gets at night. We were told that they run every 5 to 15 minutes however there’s no way to contact anyone to come to your location, which is usually very poorly marked. There are also different color trams that are used for different things however there’s no explained on to know which tram is used for what. This has been very inconvenient. For instance, we waited 25 minutes last night to get from our room to the lobby. We started walking until we saw a tram that was headed towards the lobby and caught that. Also, bring your flashlight because the property is very dark at night. If you’re walking, you’ll want to use the flashlight from your phone and walk with someone and never alone. Although the property is safe, it has a lot of foliage, trees, and bushes which create blind spots. The pool is definitely a vibe because of all the action! The beach is beautiful and clean but you’ll need bug repellent. For the most part, everyone is kind however there are very few who speak English. I will definitely get my Spanish skills in order whenever traveling this way again. When you visit, ask for Marlenis. She’s one of the dancers at the main pool. She will DEFINITELY make you feel at home and welcome. We love her!! When you’re at the beach, look for Jean. He’ll make sure that you’ve got lounge chairs and tiki huts!The nightclub Oro is located inside the casino and is lit🔥!!!!! It’s nonstop Latin music with a splash of everything else🎶. Ramon remembered our drink orders from the day before, checked in with perfect timing, and went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs. His service was genuinely kind, attentive, and effortless — the kind that makes a good vacation unforgettable.
We met Yileisi at Ipanema on our last day at Hard Rock Punta Cana, and we were genuinely sad we didn’t find her sooner! We had both breakfast and dinner with her that day, and she was absolutely wonderful — friendly, warm, and so attentive.
Hard Rock is lucky to have someone like her — Yileisi is the kind of person who makes guests want to come back. If you’re dining at Ipanema, be sure to ask for her — you’ll be so glad you did! Wish we had gotten a picture with her!

Birthday Trip!
The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable, big bathroom but could use more lighting especially in the shower. Our room was in a great location in the middle of the resort close to the beach and by the central pool. There are several pools, bars and places to eat. The resort was very clean, the workers we encountered were very friendly.

We opted for the same room again - an Islander Suite with 2 King beds and we found it to be just as clean, comfortable and in the same condition as it was 3 years ago. We were originally put in Building 6, floor 3 but after the first night we couldn't stay anymore as it was soooo noisy as it is the main walk way to the lobby. After a couple of conversations with Reception they moved us to Building 8, floor 4 which was just perfect and the process was made super easy. It looked exactly the same room but quieter. There were a few small niggles with the room (outside light didn't work, bathtub plug wouldn't open, lights by the side of the bed need replacing), but it didn't annoy us enough to complain.
We travel quite a lot and rarely go back to the same place twice but we don't really have many negatives about the resort. We love the vibe, the size of the resort and the amount of things to do. Yes the food isn't great (with a serious lack of different options for Vegetarians), but it's OK. The alcohol doesn't always taste like it should, there is real inconsistency! The service is hit and miss but Ramon at the Guitar pool works so hard to serve and entertain so deserves a special shout out. There is a language barrier which is surprising as a good percentage of guests are from the US or Canada, but it makes it feel more authentic as an overseas experience. The biggest issue are probably the other guests, there is a real lack of understanding of queuing and waiting their turn, this is especially obvious at the pool bars - which the bar tenders should ignore but they encourage (for a tip).
Overall no real complaints and we would be back again.
Second time back and it's still a great experience
This was our second time at HR Punta Cana, however this time we booked with Tui rather than going direct as it worked out cheaper. I was travelling with my 2 teenage daughters and as a party of women we always felt safe and never felt threatened or in danger, it is what we hoped for when booking and it did not fall beneath or expectations.We opted for the same room again - an Islander Suite with 2 King beds and we found it to be just as clean, comfortable and in the same condition as it was 3 years ago. Food was decent everywhere we went, avoid the Mexican though. Didn't rate it to be honest
Defo a great place to stay
The place is immense. The holiday club is amazing and the staff are awesome. The kids loved it. The service from the staff is amazing. It's clean and its a great hotel. Would have been 5 stars but the air-conditioning needs a look. It gets really warm.at night and when you have it down as 1/3 its not worth it. 2/3 and above it starts to get loud which means at night it's hard to sleep. If you have ear plugs it takes the edge off but would be better if it was quieter. Apart from that, no issues.Food was decent everywhere we went, avoid the Mexican though. Didn't rate it to be honest

if you’re looking for good food this is not the place, but the resort is beautiful.
The first 2 1/2 days were great. We had to wait approximately an hour for our room to be ready. So we grabbed lunch at the buffet which was good that first time, after that it was terrible. The food at other places at the resort is not great. All the meat has this heavy seasoning that is way too much. Day 3 i wake with diarrhea and then vomiting. Not a good time when your in another country. Day 5 still feel like crap, stomach still not right and trying to find something to eat that will not make my situation worse. However, the resort itself is huge, the beach is beautiful. The food is awful!
