About Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences
Perched on a cliff overlooking the Sea of Cortez, the massive Hacienda Encantada Resort and Residences is one of the top upscale hotels in the area, known for its sweeping views, beautiful pools, and all-inclusive options. All 237 rooms are Mexican-inspired and feature modern amenities: flat-screen TVs, iPod docks, and balconies. The resort is ideal for families, with a massive kids' zone, plenty of games, and an activity pool. There are several dining and drinking options -- Italian, Mexican, and buffet -- and a few wellness choices such as a small spa and fitness center. Though sun loungers are set up on a rocky stretch of shore, there isn't a real beach here. Past guests have complained about everything from time-share pitches to closed restaurants. For those who want sand access, the Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa is right on swimmable Playa el Medano.

A delightful stay.
I spent a wonderful time with my family and friends. Really good service, food and hospitality. The people here are kind and really attentive, in addition we were able to see sea life from across our rooms.

There is always a delicious detailed selection of breakfast items that are beautifully presented and you can also create your own special omelets.
The staff also makes Maria’s a special experience. Antonio, the manager, adds personalized attention and brightens the day. Brenda, the hostess, greeted us with her friendly and welcoming smile. Pablo and Karina were our table servers. They were a lot of fun and made sure we enjoyed every moment of our meal anticipating our needs and made additional suggestions.
Maria’s is a must!

Bottom pool was just refurbished which was great, upper pools need maintenance, and rooms could use a refresh.

Cabo San Lucas Wife’s birthday.
Hacienda Encantada is a wonderful resort for family and getaway couples. Griesla, Moises, Omar, Daryl, Gabriel, Alendro, Ingrid, Cesar and all the staff was excellent. Atmosphere is pleasant, Rooms where spacious, Value is exceptional.

Great ride with Adrian!!! I will say though I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and challenge, my wife and her sister were not ready for such a ride.there should be a better description for those less fit so they can make a better decision in joining.

Jesus was wonderful to get where we needed to be but also assist with information. And our servers Felicinio and Ramon were great. Our biggest frustration was the lack of communication about daily happenings. A guide in your rooms would be amazing.

Great overall experience
I spent most of my 2-week vacation at the phase 1 pool (el patio). The servers, Omar, Juan, Ingrid and Cesar were wonderful and what made my vacation amazing. Can’t wait to come back.

A few staff members really stood out…Ernesto and Grace treated us like royalty on our anniversary at Mestizo!
Jesus was our first bellhop who took time to really introduce the property and made us feel right at home.
Omar keep the drinks and food coming at Il Forno!
Grounds crew must be the unsung hero’s. Property was beautifully maintained.

Exceeded Expectations
Staff was excellent. Unfortunately we paid in advance for airport shuttle service…which was not waiting for us when we arrived in Cabo. Tried repeatedly for days prior and the day of travel to secure with no luck. Reluctantly secured a private taxi and arrived safely at resort. Front desk clerk was not genuinely apologetic, but did remove the cost from our bill.Planning excursion was not an easy process but worth it.

2 weeks at the Hacienda Encantada resort
we had a very good time at the resort. We like the friendly people, and the more Mexican style and touch of the resort. We had all inclusive prime for one week, exploring local restaurants the rest of the time. Not sure if I recognized the value of "prime". All-inclusive in general appears to be beneficial, particular since some very good restaurants at the Marina are included in the deal.

Morning bike ride through the resort desert
Adrian was very attentive and caring for the group. Most of us were not experienced cyclists and he helped guide us along a backroad desert trail in the resort. We ended the ride at a beautiful overlook. It was incredibly hot but water was provided.

Beautiful resort, friendliest workers, great food & drinks. People id like to commend are Felipe who drove us to places we've never seen before (chapel, overlook) and Blenn our waiter (tocayo!) who made our night at Los Riscos.Highly recommend this resort!

Oscar in the Patio
My best part of my visit was the fantastic tasting Governor Tacos and Happy Hour at the Patio Bar. But what made it rememberable was the VIP service from Oscar. He was always on top of our drink order regardless if we were at the pool or lounging in the day beds. He even assisted with a communications barrier between us and the maintenance crew. Ask for Oscar! You won't find better service.

Great staff
The staff at this resort are incredibly helpful and friendly. I have a lot of food allergies, and they were all great. Jazziel and Esteban at I’ll Forno ensured that everything was perfect for me and they totally understood what was needed. We had a great experience with most of the restaurants, except for Los Roscoe, which should be avoided. This is a gorgeous resort.
