Busy location

If you like being surrounded by the action in the marina, seeing and hearing all the boats/music/sea lions and being walking distance from the restaurants and shops then this location is perfect. The resort itself is decent, food just okay. Only real complaint was no air conditioning in any of the restaurants or lobby, or in the areas waiting for elevators. Your room and xhale lounge are the only air conditioned areas. Couldn’t imagine being there in the summer. Other than that it was a good experience.

Highly Recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Breathless. The hotel is very clean and has everything you need. The pools, where we spent most of our afternoons, had activities to participate in or just watch. The coffee bar served up delicious drinks 24 hours a day. Location is the best - right off the marina so there is plenty of shopping and you can watch the boats go in and out. But the staff really made our trip special - all of them were so nice and friendly. A special shout-out to Franco at the "party pool". He is so kind and works non-stop to make sure you have everything you need - and there were 7 of us in our group. We all had a wonderful time and we'll be back!

Day pass

Had a great time with my friends and the service from Javier Gomez went above and beyond making us feel like home! Our waiter Mariano and Williams at the pool always really attentive. Fernando from lunch also gave us a great service! Will definitely come back!!

Franco is the best

The trip was amazing! We were greeted by Oscar and he gave us a great tour of the property. We loved the fact that the pool near the beach was mellow up until about 1pm then the music turns up a bit! You can still get some quiet by the other pool. If at the more party pool, find Franco! He is awesome and will ensure you don’t go thirsty or hungry. Williams is also great for poolside service! The exhale club is a must as you can sneak away to the exhale club and get nicer quality cocktails after a day at the pool. Overall the room was great and everything was very comfortable.

Great service at Bites Restaurant

Bites Tapas and Small plates restaurant was very good. Venturo was our waiter and did and excellent job not only serving us but also with recommendations. Definitely will eat here again, requesting him while we are here.

Breathless was beautiful and the service was wonderful! Franco was absolutely amazing too! He took such great care of us while we enjoyed the pool. He was attentive, remembered our names and drinks everyday, and was so friendly!

Breathless Cabo the perfect location with some room for improvement

Location is excellent in relation to downtown. It allows for exploring downtown Cabo as it is an easy walk to many different restaurants and shops. The food is not as elevated at other UVC/Hyatt resorts. Franco at the Beach Club Pool is awesome certainly take advantage of him and his outstanding service if possible.

Franco , Carla and Santiago made our experience amazing !!

The stay was amazing , everyone was so accommodating and friendly . Especially Franco ( beach club server ) , Carla (restaurant manager) and Santiago ( exhale concierge ) . We stayed for 7 days to celebrate our anniversary and every one was just so friendly . Franco was the best server we could have asked for my cup was never empty and he was just pure great energy that really wanted us to enjoy our stay,

Unforgettable trip, and a big part was because of three legends, Santiago, Franco, and Carla.

My wife and I just got back from Breathless Cabo, and honestly, the resort name makes sense — we were literally left breathless by the amazing staff! Three absolute legends made our trip unforgettable: Santiago, Franco, and Carla.

First up, Santiago, our linebacker Exhale concierge. This man doesn’t just do his job — he masters it. His attention to detail, sense of humor, and all-around great personality made us feel like VIPs every single day. I’m convinced he runs on positive energy and espresso because the man never stops making things happen!

Then there’s Franco, our poolside brother from another mother. The guy made us feel like we owned the place (minus the bill, thankfully). He’s professional, funny, and somehow manages to make every guest feel like the only one there — which is impressive considering he’s juggling drinks, towels, and conversations like a pro.

And last but not least, Carla, the queen of fine dining on the beach. From the moment we sat down, her leadership and confidence set the tone for an incredible romantic dinner. She runs her team like a boss — calm, efficient, and always with a smile.

If you stay at Breathless Cabo, do yourself a favor and ask for Santiago, Franco, and Carla by name. They’ll take your trip from “great” to “unforgettable.” These three are the heart and soul of the resort!

“Meh” at best

The resort has a great location however, the layout is very poor, leaving long walks from place to place. The food and selection is disappointing at best. The breakfast buffet is not restocked and is limited. The specialty restaurants were either closed or Only available as “experiences” at additional cost. Activities and entertainment were fine however, knowledge of them is only available on the app which I found cumbersome and frustrating to use as I do not like to spend my vacations on the phone.

Poolside Perfection and Marina Views – Cabo at Breathless

After a great experience at Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa in June of this year, my wife and I booked Breathless Cabo San Lucas Resort and Spa with the Xhale Club upgrade. Cabo offered a different but enjoyable vibe.

We stayed in Room 1332, which was clean and comfortable. The property was well-maintained and ideally located right on the marina, just steps from the mall and a variety of excursions. If you're a couple who enjoys being close to the action, this resort delivers.

The food was okay — not bad, but not memorable. However, the drinks at the Xhale Club were excellent: strong, consistent, and well-crafted. Both pools were beautiful with perfect views, and the atmosphere was lively yet relaxed.

Special shoutout to William at the pool bar — he was the star of our stay. His service was outstanding, keeping the drinks and snacks flowing with genuine hospitality.

Overall, we had a good experience. While we lean more toward chill vacations focused on eating, relaxing, and sipping cocktails, we’d still recommend this resort to couples who want a mix of luxury and proximity to local activities.

The best hotel and staff in Los Cabos!

The resort was fantastic. The staff was amazing to include Santiago in the Xhale Lounge as the concierge. I want to also give kudos to Nely who was extremely helpful and entertaining for activities and the Halloween party.
