Infants, toddlers and teens
Your precious little ones are in safe and caring hands at Beaches Boscobel. Our Kids Kamp is specially designed to accommodate our guests 12 years and under. Infants will be rocked to sleep in individual cribs in an air-conditioned, fully equipped nursery. The other children are divided into 3 different age groups and have planned, supervised activities throughout the day.
Nursery open 9am - 5pm and again 7pm-9:30pm (infant-3yrs). Private babysitting is available at any time $7.00 (US$) per hour per child (2 children max.). All nursery and baby-sitting staff are certified in child care.

Hurricane Guarantee
In the unlikely event that hurricane force winds (as defined by the U.S. National Weather Service) directly hit the Sandals or Beaches resorts while you are a guest, interrupting the use of all the included activities, Sandals or Beaches Resorts will offer a free replacement vacation, including round-trip airfare, to be taken at any Sandals or Beaches Resort of your choice. This replacement stay will be for the same duration as the one originally booked, regardless of how many days were affected by the hurricane. The replacement stay will be in an equivalent room category to the one originally booked, and will be subject to certain blackout dates*. This offer must be applied within one year from the date the hurricane directly hit the resort. So much fun! Amazing experience
This was the most amazing experience ever. It was so fun and I loved the food and drinks all the employees were so kind and helpful especially Akeem from entertainment. He was so fun and helpful he took all the teenagers and made us all friends and helped us have so much fun. Also renneshia from the crepe place she was so nice and would always joke around with me and was so fun to be around and always made the most amazing drinks. Everyone should come here it is so much fun.

It was really fun and I had an amazing time I wouldn’t trade it for anything and I’m so glad that I went it was amazing
I had the best experience here and it was really fun all the food what’s great and all the drinks and best of all all of the people that work hard and make it all happen like akeem from entertainment he is the best person to be around and he made the trip way better and Derek he was super fun to be with and we had some really great conversations.

Fantastic Experience
We had an incredible spring break trip. The resort was beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and the food is amazing. Definitely checkout Neptune’s and ask for Deivel to be your server. He’s great and is just a blast to talk to. We highly recommend and we will be back!

The best experiance I have had at a resort
Learn the resort before you leave your room or you might get lost. The employees were very nice and the people here are very nice also. Akeem from entertainment was amazing and brought the kids together. The shows were good. ranaldo from front desk was a good welcomer to the building and the room. Karaoke was fun bc of the songs.

The staff at Beaches Ocho Rios made our vacation so special!!
Akeem from entertainment greeted us with such friendliness he asked for all or our names which made us so welcomed and his voice is amazing!!
Tavia from the French restaurant was so nice and she offered to take our picture without us even asking!
TT or Tristania from entertainment did such an amazing job singing Tina Turner. She made my dancing daughter Holly feel especially happy by calling her out as having so much energy and good vibes.
Alex, Livingston, and Tristan were all so wonderful at the aqua center! They went the extra mile to make our vacation fun!
Durville the piano player at the piano bar was so much fun. Ramon was a great photographer and we cant wait to see Keneika at Beaches Negril in 2026!! There really were so many great people at Beaches Ocho Rios!!! Thank you all for the great memories that will last forever! Yeah man!!!

A few shoutouts: Courtney the night shift manger- who helped me get some Benadryl when my child had an allergic reaction after hours! The front desk even called me later that night and the next morning to check on us. We were so grateful!
Mark, a server at the Bayside buffet-he was able to procure some bananas during dinner for my child who was needing some extra potassium after a busy Waterpark day!
The dive team, specifically Mouse and Rohan, made staying at Beaches Ocho Rios worth so much more than we paid. The team helped get me safely back into diving after a 10 year hiatus. The boat captains were all amazing and I can’t wait to get back to dive with them again.
The only complaints (really more like inconveniences) were the lack of overhead lighting and minimal electrical outlets in the room. We got by fine enough without them, but they would have been nice added amenities in the rooms if they were available.

I’ll start with the good:
The entertainment staff are really good with kids and some of the staff are really friendly like Monique.
There are generally always enough sunbeds.
The kids liked the waterside bit.
The all inc drinks are premium brands and people do come round the pool and ask if you want drinks.
The things that let it down:
It’s really really old and tired. Like mould in the bathrooms, peeling walls kind of old. The rooms are like a really worn travel lodge.
Most staff especially in the restaurants were really sullen and snappy. They did not want to be there.
The restaurants were really not good. Not one of the restaurants was. It takes 20 mins for anyone to come over to seat you and the food was awful. Cold e wry time and mostly inedible.
The teen ‘nightclub’ is just an old damp empty room. Nobody ever ventured into it.
The music and shouting on the mics at the pool goes on from 11am to 10pm continuously. You can hear it from the entire resort so there’s literally nowhere to go to get peace. You can still hear it loudly on the beach! It’s loud enough that you can’t hear the person sitting next to you.
Everything’s unorganised. We supposedly had concierge/butler service. What this really means is you can text a central number and sometimes they might answer.
The spa isn’t good. It’s old and tired and the facials are like something out of the 80s. She steamed my face then spent 15 minutes trying to squeeze spots that didn’t exist. It was agony.
It just isn’t anywhere near 5 stars but the price is so I wouldn’t recommend.

Best trip ever
I can't recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with THE BEST staff, beautiful scenery and wonderful amenities. The bus ride from the Montego Bay airport was closer to two and a half hours since we stopped once (when the website made it seem like it was an hour and a half), but besides that, everything was as advertised. The rooms and resort itself definitely is older, so don't go in expecting it to look like the ritz Carlton, but honestly if you're worried about that on an all inclusive vacation, go somewhere else. The staff were the nicest people ever, the restaurants were exemplary, and my wife, nine month old daughter and I had the best trip we've ever had. 10/10 recommend for an amazing family vacation.

As parents of 2 autistic children it is so nice for us to come somewhere where so many people understand. All staff were incredibly kind to all 3 of the children. They can’t wait to come back. See you again next year. 😘x
A great time had by all.
Returning on our 3rd visit to beaches ocho Rios we were again, not disappointed. 😁 wonderful staff, delicious food and fantastic customer service. Lovely to see so many of the staff from our previous trips especially Nada from the water park who greeted us with a hug. All staff work so hard, the guys at the pool bar do not stop all day and all the staff in the buffet restaurant work tirelessly.As parents of 2 autistic children it is so nice for us to come somewhere where so many people understand. All staff were incredibly kind to all 3 of the children. They can’t wait to come back. See you again next year. 😘x

Beaches Ocho Rios blew me away, and I had the time of my life. If I could write a positive review about every staff member, I would. They’re all so deserving. I spent a lot of time talking to Yeshua in the piano bar. He provided amazing service and was always smiling, and eager to do his job. Yeshua will always be a highlight of this vacation. Marlon at the water slides was also awesome, he even went down with us. Overall, this resort is exceptional, and I’m very sad to leave.

Resort staff make first time in Jamaica fantabulous!
My first time in Jamaica was a blast! The staff made the experience unforgettable. Nicola and Lady J are the best, but everyone made me feel like I was welcome in Jamaica. Nicola befriended my teen sister and then our whole family, and Lady J did the same but started with me. Alex took us out on an hobie, and Maurice taught my sister and I how to sail an hobie. Everyone was so kind, and their enthusiasm for their country was infectious. The performances are top tier! The steel drums performance was my favorite.

On a positive note the ENTIRE staff was excellent. I cannot express how hard working, wonderful , friendly, happy and energetic everyone was. My 8 year old insisted on going to the kids camp everyday, she loved the workers and all the activities. My 12 year old son made so many friends playing pool/beach volley ball. The water slides were a huge hit with the kids as well. The food was pretty good. I highly recommend the crepes, we tried almost all of them and all were delicious! The beach is very small area, it looks bigger in the pictures.
Overall the buildings need updating but the staff and entertainment make up for that.
Overall trip was a hit!

We have been to the Turks and Caicos resort and it is larger and nicer, (more expensive) than this resort. Negatives: 1) Property is extremely run down, so you pay Sandals/Beaches prices for basically a 2.5 star resort. 2) Do not recommend the Spa for a mani/pedi. The "spa" pedicure is a bucket of cold water and they rinse the nail tools, no sterilizer in sight for $180. 3) No dining reservations allowed for parties less than 10, so you will wait for a table at any restaurant, even the buffet. Wait can be 20 min to 2 hours. 4) Limited dining options if you go during a holiday. Easter Sunday only 3 of the 6 restaurants were open for dinner so long wait to eat. 5) Khariky, the employee at the reservation desk is incredibly rude and should not be in customer service. We watched her be rude to 5 families in front of us and the staff that work near her all commented that they couldn't help because "she would kill them if they stepped in". All the other resort employees were so friendly and helpful, so her mean/rude/never at her desk during listed hours was particularly annoying.
Run down resort for the price, but kids love it regardless and great weather for pool/beach!
Pros:1) 5 min from Ian Fleming Airport so off the airplane and at the resort in under 30 min. 2) Small beach but warm clear water 3) Pool and Water park for the kids. 3) Friendly staff! Jamaican folks are very welcoming 4) Spa does a great job on braids for the kids. 5) Highly Recommend Dolphin Cove! It was by far the best dolphin experience I have ever had. Made our trip. Money saving tips: 1) Get a groupon (instead of booking thru the resort) and book in advance. 2) Buy the dolphin pictures as you check in, it is worth it for the "extra dolphin ride alone and the pics are fantastic 3) Do NOT purchase the $50 pics for the toucan and the blue iguana. Beaches is fun!
This trip was truly amazing the hospitality is amazing and the pools are very refreshing just as much as the very fun waterslides. The food was good and also the drinks. Akeem from entertainment made our trip so special. He hung out with us almost everyday and the shows with him were amazing. Jason from entertainment as well is a very cool guy and dancer. The entertainment team overall is great. The boat cruise with Damaine, Akeem and Jason was awesome. The snorkeling trip with Nicola was cool as well. Amoy from the buffet was very kind. Overall a great experience. I met new friends which meant a lot!

Jamaica resort
The rooms are really spacious, the service is good too. The entertainment workers are also really nice. Shoutout Akeem, Jason, Sasha Lee, and Nicola. The pool and beach are also nice. The pool party on Saturday was really fun with the water slides.

one of the best resorts i’ve ever been to

In spite of all that, I can’t help but share our experience.
After clearing customs in Montego Bay (not too stressful for a family of 4), we were directed to the Sandals/Beaches Welcome Lounge. Our luggage was checked and we only waited about 10-15 minutes to be escorted to the shuttle. I’ll admit the ride TO Ocho Rios was long. Our driver, Delroy kept us entertained and it’s no fault of his. He was nice enough to stop halfway for a quick bathroom break. We were driving in the middle of the afternoon so there was traffic. By the time we arrived, it had been at least 2 hours, possibly a little longer.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted with cold towels and brought into the lobby and introduced to the concierge team while our luggage was brought to the room.
I think we can all admit that the facilities are a bit “tired.” As with some other reviews, I did pick up on an odor of musty/mildew in the main lobby area. Many of the exteriors had chipped paint or rotted trim. Our room itself was very clean, again dated, but had everything we needed. The housekeeper was very good about keeping everything stocked and we never needed to ask for anything. It was clear, though, that the staff has done a lot to keep things up around the resort as a whole. We constantly observed painters, landscapers, etc. I cannot imagine the effort it takes to upkeep a resort where there is a constant turnaround of guests, coupled with being close to salt water (which we all know can wreak havoc!).
The food at the resort was OK. The breakfast buffet was outstanding every day with a huge variety of hot and cold options. The BBQ Park burgers and nuggets were favorites for our kids. The soft serve machines were a welcome treat as well! We were invited by the concierge team to a “welcome back” dinner for families who had visited previously. This was the highlight meal of the trip (aside from our daughter’s birthday dinner). We had notified the concierge previously that our daughter would be celebrating her birthday. On that day, they came to our room with a small cake and balloons for her. At dinner, the staff sang Happy Birthday.
The activities we arranged for were great…..the best being the snorkeling. It was a new experience for all 4 of us. The Glass Bottom Boat and kayaking were fun as well, just be cautious of choppy seas….only Mother Nature has control over that! Our daughters loved the Water Park, in particular the slides. I enjoyed the lawn chess with one daughter and was able to teach my daughters to play pool, as there were 2 tables within the water park area as well.
Photographers around the resort will take candid photos of the families from time to time and everyone gets a complimentary photo session on the beach. While we were very satisfied with the quality of the photos and the quantity, the price for just the digital photos seemed excessive to us. It was no less than $300 for just 15 of the images and the pricing went up for there. We hadn’t paid for anything else asides for small incidentals and spa
appointments so we took the vacation photo book. After all, it wasn’t an “everyday trip.”
I can’t say enough about the resort staff….from
the concierge team, to servers, bartenders, housekeeping, photographers, activity directors and anyone else that contributes. Everyone we came in contact with was wonderful; so friendly, always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed and joke around at the same time.
When it came time to depart, we left our luggage outside the room and it was brought to the shuttle. The process was very smooth. Fortunately, we had a much larger and more comfortable shuttle for the return trip to the airport. Because we departed the resort at 6am, we encountered no traffic and the ride was only 1.5 hours to the airport. It definitely felt quicker.
All in all, our family had a terrific time and made some great memories. I would hope Beaches is able to showcase the resort once again after the major renovations are complete. Not once did we feel unsafe or ignored. Our family was grateful to have the experience we did!
Our Family Vacation!
We had this vacation booked for over 6 months. Admittedly, we were a bit nervous to find out two days before our arrival that the resort would be closing at the end of May. We weren’t sure what to expect. This was also our first time leaving the country with our teenage daughters.In spite of all that, I can’t help but share our experience.
After clearing customs in Montego Bay (not too stressful for a family of 4), we were directed to the Sandals/Beaches Welcome Lounge. Our luggage was checked and we only waited about 10-15 minutes to be escorted to the shuttle. I’ll admit the ride TO Ocho Rios was long. Our driver, Delroy kept us entertained and it’s no fault of his. He was nice enough to stop halfway for a quick bathroom break. We were driving in the middle of the afternoon so there was traffic. By the time we arrived, it had been at least 2 hours, possibly a little longer.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted with cold towels and brought into the lobby and introduced to the concierge team while our luggage was brought to the room.
I think we can all admit that the facilities are a bit “tired.” As with some other reviews, I did pick up on an odor of musty/mildew in the main lobby area. Many of the exteriors had chipped paint or rotted trim. Our room itself was very clean, again dated, but had everything we needed. The housekeeper was very good about keeping everything stocked and we never needed to ask for anything. It was clear, though, that the staff has done a lot to keep things up around the resort as a whole. We constantly observed painters, landscapers, etc. I cannot imagine the effort it takes to upkeep a resort where there is a constant turnaround of guests, coupled with being close to salt water (which we all know can wreak havoc!).
The food at the resort was OK. The breakfast buffet was outstanding every day with a huge variety of hot and cold options. The BBQ Park burgers and nuggets were favorites for our kids. The soft serve machines were a welcome treat as well! We were invited by the concierge team to a “welcome back” dinner for families who had visited previously. This was the highlight meal of the trip (aside from our daughter’s birthday dinner). We had notified the concierge previously that our daughter would be celebrating her birthday. On that day, they came to our room with a small cake and balloons for her. At dinner, the staff sang Happy Birthday.

Great vacation!!!!
This was our first time out of the country and Sandals Resort made it a memorable one with great staff, hospitality, food, entertainment and the landscape was beautiful! Also, we met a lot of nice people that added to our dream vacation. Thank you for the warm welcome and lovely staff, it made our dream vacation one to remember!!!

And the resort was not what we hoped or what we paid for. It was way too much money for what we received.
1. Our room smelled musty and moldy and flooded the first night. There were mold spores on the wall. I was planning to get ready with all the girls in our room and there was no way I could do that. There wasn’t even a full length mirror.
2. They moved us, no charge, to a larger room. This one didn’t flood but it was so dark, we couldn’t get any light into the room. So we also couldn’t get ready in there.
3. The new room had a walkout with really poor design, we couldn’t even use it. The floor sloped so we slipped walking down and walking up. I’m not exaggerating haha it was tile and very slippery.
4. We had cockroaches in the room and also noticed them at one of the restaurants we were eating at.
5. Our friends and family had similar issues. Some even had to empty their own dehumidifier daily or it would over flow.
6. The restaurants were clearly understaffed. We often waited until our meals were done before we even got water. Or we had to go to a near by bar to order and get our own drinks. If we did get drinks, we never had the chance to get a refill.
7. One of the staff was opening the sun umbrella for us and it fell onto my head. The metal bar that wings out. Right on the head and pretty hard. All I got was a sorry. I had a headache and sore spot from that one!
8. There was one night that we were all swimming and when we got out there were no towels at all to use. We were all just walking back to our rooms soaking wet without towels
9. You could tell tips were expected and one bar tender even said to my father in law that he should remember to tip his bar tender! For a company that says they’re all inclusive and we do not tip it should be made clear to not ask for or expect tips. They shouldn’t even accept them as it makes people who can’t or don’t feel uncomfortable. There were multiple times that we felt uncomfortable because we didn’t tip.
I will say the majority of the staff were extremely nice and helpful but could only do so much. It’s just not what we paid for and not what Sandals/Beaches advertises. We didn’t experience anything like that at our previous visit.
For the money we paid, we shouldn’t have experienced any of the above. If one thing happened and they fixed and the rest was perfect, we would’ve been totally ok with it. But there were so many things that were not right and everyone in our party, all 39 of us experienced similar issues. That was kind of embarrassing to us because we chose this place due to their reputation and it was not at all what it should’ve been.
Again most of the staff was great, actually it was mostly the entertainment team that was great. Jason being our absolute favorite.
We’re honestly hesitant to go to another sandals resort but are hoping things are much better in December for our honey moon that’s already booked.
We’re very disappointed in this beaches resort.
Disappointed in beaches
Our wedding was great. They did a good job with helping us through everything. We upgraded and paid for a sit down meal and also an extra hour with the bar and whatever so we could dance after dinner. But the dinner was very long and drawn out that people were leaving before dessert! So we wasted the extra hour for nothing because everyone left.And the resort was not what we hoped or what we paid for. It was way too much money for what we received.
