My experience

I really liked the room and the service. The environment gives you the opportunity to relax while enjoying the resort. They could definitely improve their food options, especially in the Mexican restaurant, but the Italian restaurant was just amazing, delicious food and great service.

Thanks to all the staff members, especially Patricia, for all the effort they put into making our experience the best possible.

I don't like. I am no coming anymore

Ants in the toilet. The faucet is leaking in the shower. The internet doesn't work well. We changed the door opening card 3 times.

Fab time

The resort staff is friendly, rooms are clean, resort is clean.

The animation staff was very outgoing and friendly. The bar staff especially Elizabeth, Nordy and Ronnie were sure to make your drinks top notch. Always with a smile and jokes. Always remembering your drink and name.

The location is not to far from the airport. The centre of Cabarete is close enough to walk.. roughly 15 minutes.

There are my souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets very close to the airport. Some right across the street.

You can take taxi, bus or moto for a decent price to the centre of Cabarete.

The resort was quiet. The pool is relaxing. Decent amount of shade.

The rooms were comfortable. No problem with electricity or air conditioning. It’s nice that they have water fill stations.

The room was cleaned daily, the grounds were always kept clean. The eating areas always clean and plenty of food.

Viva Tangerine

Our trip started out very well when we checked in Alfredo helped us with all we needed. He was very informative. He made checking in very easy. I wish all receptions had a person like Alfredo.

Amazing views lacking in servers at pool and food was not impressive.

Location was AMAZING. The view was right on a beautiful beach you could hear the ocean from room. From pool.

Rooms were very clean Dani did a great job and even got our toliet fixed and recleaned. Great work and much appreciated.
Service was a little lacking we were surprised that no servers were coming to pool for drink. Even when we ask they said no. Good way to earn tips!

Food was absolutely horrible. I am not a foodie nor put a lot of thought into food. I come for beach, views. But our group had trouble even finding protein that we could eat. Fresh pineapple was good but honestly that was about it. We walked down beach to eat.

Needs outdoor shade!

I had very low expectations going in due to the food reviews here. I will say upfront that the food was fine, nothing to worry about. The beach was fantastic: warm, clean
and some nice small riding waves. That's about it, however. The worst part was finding shade when at the beach or pool. For some reason they have NO umbrellas or physical shade structures. You can only find shade under a tree but in a short time, the sun will shift, and you have to move again. This was very irritating! Some of the rooms are a bit dated and many have no Wi-Fi in the room, only outside on the balcony or anywhere outside on the hotel grounds. The balconies are annoying in that there are no door handles on the outside. You have to use 2 palms on the glass to push the door opening. After a while it becomes annoying. Also, we encountered aircon issues on the last 2 nights. The nightly shows were silly: lip-syncing and bad dancing (and scantily dressed at times).

Overall beautiful. Very nice people, but the food wasn't good.

Place looked beautiful, people were more than just hospitable. The room was decent but the power went out twice, which to me wasnt much of an issue cause they got the power back right away. My only big issue was the quality of the food, i think this is mainly based on preference but me and my fiancé didn’t enjoy the food and we went to every food place there was.

Uncomfortable

Buffet closed for the week, had to do a makeshift buffet for our stay. Harassed by vendors trying to sell us stuff on the beach 24/7. Smoke alarm started leaking water and had to switch rooms. Tv wouldn’t connect to internet. Internet very spotty. Locals filling their bags with food and made the stay very uncomfortable
