Our 6th visit
Food is amazing. Hospitality top notch!!! Great vibes if you want party or quiet. We had an issue with our toilet, but the maintenance gentleman was outside fixing something else. He had no problem coming in and fixing it quickly. FYI this is our 6th visit.

Anniversary trip
Top notch , service was excellent!! Can't wait to come back..... room service food is good!! Sairy and Oscar from go team entertainment was fun .. bike riding, volleyball was fun and i won the bull riding!!!!!! I recommend coming to this resort!!!!

6 times here and always hate to leave. Shows go team can't be beat. Saw monkeys twice. Rooms always clean comfortable food was great and the the service excellent. Hospitality excellent too, everybody treat you like family.

Rooms were amazing, food was plentiful, staff couldn’t be more amazing. I suggest small menu in the sports bar please we are from Canada and we love the chickens wings, fish fingers, pizza, and maybe fruit. Firts time here at Valentin and we love Mexico.I love the beach, pool was so much fun and the food truck was amazing.

1) Food- We had several instances where the menu stated something and it was not indicative that there is cheese on the dish especially at the italian restaurant . We ordered the pasta with just tomato sauce and it had cheese there was no indication that there was cheese.
The japanese restaurant is below par , some of the food was overcooked and some was undercooked . Not safe for consumption
The buffet was great but the options for lunch are limited.
The steakhouse the meat cut was not flavorful and it had a lot of fat , we tried all different type of steaks and it wasnt the best .
2) Service - The staff are friendly but are not attentive to your needs . For one instance , I called requesting a one time item , and t hey said they would call back in a couple of minutes , and no call was done to confirm if it was available or not . The shuttle from the room , you had to wait for over 10 minutes to get one as there is a lot of walking around the resort. I suggest include a button that would allow you to call a shuttle rather than calling and then no one shows up . Also the mini bar , was not stocked in a timely manner , some days we were left with nothing in the mini bar .
3) Entertainment - The imperial band sang the same music every night and it was getting repetitive , and the michael jackson show was a disappointment and the burlesque show was a waste of time , and the entertainment is repetitive , same entertainment every week , and it got boring. One night you have karaoke , and one night a fire show , its the same every week .
4) Taxi - If you requested a taxi to go to cancun , they will charge you $180 USD two way which is a rip off , we were able to book with a private taxi and they charged us $65 for two ways , do not take the taxi provided by the resort .
5) Swimming pool - Every morning we would come and random towels were on the chairs and no one was in the pool , not sure how the staff allow that to happen.
6) Beach - The beaches were great and the water was amazing , maybe thats the only good thing about the resort.
7) Staff - As mentioned before they are not attentive , we had an external party to pick us up to go to the airport , and they were late , we asked the bell boy if we could call them from the hotel phone , he said no and made us wait . So unprofessional .
Overall the resort was a disappointment and did not live upto its expectations. Definitely will not visit in the future.

Disappointing resort
So we went in october and here is my honest review1) Food- We had several instances where the menu stated something and it was not indicative that there is cheese on the dish especially at the italian restaurant . We ordered the pasta with just tomato sauce and it had cheese there was no indication that there was cheese.
The japanese restaurant is below par , some of the food was overcooked and some was undercooked . Not safe for consumption
The buffet was great but the options for lunch are limited.

Just Married!
Great hospitality and staff! The food was amazing at every restaurant and when we came back to our room it was always clean. The entertainment was top tier and the beach was always clear from seaweed when we went out. Thank you valentin for such an amazing experience! We will be back!

Honeymoon 2025
First time here and it was the best way to spend our honeymoon! The food was fantastic, the service was top notch, and the room was impeccable. We can’t wait to return and hang out with Dora, she was so hospitable! The go team was also high energy and we had a great time.

Multi-time visitors
Been here 6-7 times never been disappointed. As soon as you walk in you feel relaxed. Variety of restaurants with wonderful food. French restaurant is great. Rooms clean and very nice.

I wouldn't change a thing!
My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the resort the week of Dia de los Meurtos and it was perfection! We stayed in a junior emerald suit which was situated so close to the beach I could see it from our back patio. The suit was lovely and when the staff found out it was our honeymoon they sent us a bottle of champagne and platter of fresh fruit. The staff was amazing. Very friendly. Very professional. Very detail oriented. Many of them took the time to learn about us. They referred to us as family and it felt like that. Every time we went to Mar y Tierra for breakfast and saw Maria or Miguel, it was like seeing a good friend. Granted, it was our favorite place to eat on the resort. The eggs Benedict and Mexican eggs were fantastic, but the buttered salmon and cilantro rice was life changing. All the food was incredible though, and beautiful. There are activities on site all day and late into the evening. They have yoga and other fitness classes for those who like to get up and go in the morning. There's DJs and foam parties and swim up bars. There's live music and quiet afternoons on the beach... with massages as well if you like. It was all so great. The weather was idyllic. I cannot gush enough about this place. We can't wait to go again.

BIG & BEAUTIFUL
This resort is beautiful.. it’s a little bit larger than what we’re used to so it was a lot to take in, but once we learned the lay of the land & what was what, we really enjoyed it.. we were here for halloween & day of the dead and i highly recommend staying during this time.. i learned a lot about mexican heritage.. they have a lot of activities every single day.. make sure you download the map & check the activities.. there’s a wide variety of food options & 2 food trucks that are amazing.. 1 restaurant is closed daily so make sure if you want to eat at certain place- that it’s open..

Amazing place!!!
This was our first time here, we came from Toronto. Everything was perfect here specially the food and service. Staff was very helpful and polite. Had a time of my life. And Dora meet us in the lobby when we were checking out she was so nice and had a great conversation with her. Must try food truck at the main pool and churros after dinner is a must. Beach is very clean and beautiful. And they have different activities planned for you every day. Great resort to visit.

In love with this place <3
The resort has impeccable cleanliness and maintenance. You don’t see anything broken or dirty. The resort smells amazing. The rooms are big and clean. The food is amazing. All the restaurants were amazing. The main pool has two swim up bars with amazing drinks. The foam party is the highlight of our stay. We went during halloween and they had amazing shows. Loved the costumes and production quality. Churro cart after dinner was a hit. We loved all the restaurants but ginger was our number 1. Our days were filled with yummy food, snacks and drinks by the beach or the pool. I would recommend valentin to anyone looking for an all inclusive to take a break from mundane life and live in a romantic movie.

Think twice about coming here
Came here to celebrate a wonderful birthday experience for my wife. Arrival was great from bell staff. That where everything changes. Concierge was accommodating ONLY when it came to extra paid services, any other inconvenience or issue was ignored. It was like pulling teeth to get anyone to assist. Maria at reception was horrible, attitude and like she was doing me a favor in canceling some reservations. Nobody walking the grounds is friendly or cordial. Pool, beach and restaurant staff are fantastic. Wanted this to be great but it sucked. If your are looking for the wow factor and more than anything great customer service look elsewhere.
