Overall great experience!!

Here on our honeymoon! The AC in the room could be better but it's manageable. Beds are super comfortable! The pools are wonderful and service is great. Restaurants have been great so far. We enjoyed every night at the Red Vine Piano Bar with Adonay as our bartender!! Amazing service and hospitality! He took great care of us!! Would come back.

Beautiful Hotel with excellent service, location and food.

This was our second trip to Secrets The Vine Cancun, our first was in December of 2023 which we throughly enjoyed. Our most recent trip which occurred on October 21st far surpassed our first trip. The food was excellent this time and we believe it can be attributed to a new executive chef. The location is fantastic, the hotel is beautiful as is the beach it is situated on. Service at Secrets is phenomenal on the beach, in the restaurant, by the personal concierge, basically all around. If you are looking to spend a week in paradise and be taken cared of like a King and Queen, Secrets the Vine is the place to be. We will definitely be back. P.S. This trip we had a Preferred Club Master Suite with Ocean View, the room is phenomenal, it was on the 25th floor with amazing views of Cancun, the beach and the lagoon.

Long Weekend Couples Trip - Definitely Would Recommend!

We went on a couples trip for a long weekend it was perfect! We stayed at the resort the entire time and enjoyed it. Good people and service along with great food and drink options. They also do a nice job with creating fun and engaging activities during the day and evening. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing and fun weekend away!

Exceptional

We celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary and all I can say is WOW! We went with the preferred club and it exceeded our expectations. Food fabulous as well as the service. If I were to be picky, I would likened a different wine in the AI package and ask for double shots in your cocktails.

Absolutely Stunning Hotel

I would highly recommend the secrets of the vine, we stayed in a preferred suite it was amazing with a beautiful view of the beach and lagoon you got sunrise and sunset. The variety of restaurants was superb and quality of food very good. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond, they are the most helpful and friendly staff I’ve ever encountered whilst on holiday. Overall the rooms were beautiful and comfortable, pools / pool bars absolutely perfect and the beach area is absolutely stunning. Don’t waste any time, get booking!! We will be back 🇮🇪

Great times

I had a great experience here. Everything was clean, activities were fun. And the staff was really nice. I went to breakfast daily at Market Cafe. Michelle, Nicole, Patricia, Pedro, and Jose were amazing there. I would absolutely recommend Secrets to others. It was a beautiful experience.

I’m not keeping this hotel a Secret!

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at!! Exceptional service, very friendly helpful staff. Amazing food, even pool side snacks were delicious!

Impressive that you also fly flacons around to scare other birds away so they don’t interrupt your customers.

Very very impressed, will be staying with secrets again and again and again!! You have upped the expectations. Thank you for a fantastic honey moon 😎😁😁

18th stay since 2012 and the best to date!

Our 18th stay at our Cancun home and the experience was superb. From arrival greeting to departure we were met with smiles and first class service. The food was especially delicious this trip and the desserts have been greatly expanded and are quite tasty. The steak at Bluewater was fantastic. We had the pizza at Nebbolio twice...margarita and pepperoni .

So as always it is the people and service that we appreciate most and here are some people to look for:

1. Mr. Sorin- manager extraordinaire
2. Rossana-head of concierge
3. Oscar-SUPERB concierge /butler
Aldo, Erika Rae, Daisy the housekeeper, Cesar in Market Cafe, Benji at the pool, Heydi at lobby bar, Jorge and Javier in Nebboilo, Arturo Blue water grille, Horatio and Felix. Daniel pool butler, ..EVERYONE we met and apologies if I did not personally name you. You are appreciated.

Highly recommend

Great trip experience overall. Loved the adults only environment and made the whole trip that much better. The breakfast buffet had so many options. The spa experience was relaxing and top notch. The individual restaurants offers a lot of variety. Love that there isn’t reservations as it is first come first serve so it is fair all around. Their partnership with Amstar made it great to get outside of the resort. We also rented a cabana and that was an awesome experience as well. We will be coming back.

Beautiful stinky hotel with great service

Yovani from the dining buffet was so kind and friendly! As the rest of the staff. The hotel is beautiful and well located. Their downfall is the horrible smell of sewer all over the lobby, hallways and the top floors. The gym was the most smelly of them all , my friend almost threw up. The restaurants had good ok but the service was super slow. All areas were clean and in Good condition. The shows were good as well as the food. I won’t come back to this hotel because of the horrible smell situation.

Wonderful resort but beware of time share sales aka vacation club

Beautiful property. Great staff and service. Jr king ocean view suite on preferred level very spacious and comfortable. Huge balcony. Preferred level upgrade is definitely worth the cost. The only negative is the vacation club aka time share push. they are quite persistent. They make things very confusing by slipping notes under your door reminding you to stop by the VIP desk to “activate” resort credits that are already included with your stay for discounts for spa, upgraded bottles of wine, romantic dinners that don’t need to be activated. They present you with their resort credits that are higher discounts to get you to listen to a 90 min sales presentation. You have to convince them you’re not interested in before they will give you the $200 in discounts for spa, upgraded that Hyatt Secrets give you.

Perfect Short Getaway for a Daughter & Mom Trip - Excellent Food, Design, Pools & Beach

Just got back from a short getaway with my mom, and we had a blast! I’m a travel agent and have been to many resorts in the area, this was my first time at this Secrets and it fully lived up to the great reputation.
This is a beautiful, small & compact, modern high rise resort that is only about 25-30 minutes from the airport. We really enjoyed the food, pools, entertainment - and the beach is just AMAZING! Super clean, white sand that’s great for beach walks, with the most mesmerizing crashing waves that are very fun to play in. Just stunning. The resort itself is a nice layout that means not a lot of walking to get everywhere, and the atmosphere is lively but sophisticated, the right balance of fun and relaxing. Great service all around, really friendly staff who I didn’t feel were always expecting a tip. Food was fantastic, we were consistently impressed by the quality and portion size at the à la carte restaurants - if you like octopus and ceviche as much as I do, you’ll be in heaven! However a big disappointment was that while we were there, the A/C at 2 of the restaurants on the 12th floor wasn’t working, which made it a really unpleasant experience that would have otherwise been great… really hope that gets fixed soon for others, as it’s awful to be sweating throughout dinner. The drinks I found quite sugary and sweet overall, a bit generic, but they do offer good wine and martinis.

Our room was clean, spacious, modern, with very comfy beds, nice double sinks, and two closets - it was great for two ladies sharing, and beautiful views of both the lagoon & ocean! But we faced the Sandos resort next door and it was SO loud and annoying, it would blast heavy electronic bass music all day until about 5pm… honestly that was the biggest down-side of the whole trip, and not really the Secret’s fault, but definitely a low point. Try to avoid that whole side of possible. Luckily it is quiet at night, but basically makes naps during the day impossible.

For a short getaway to a beautiful spot, this place is perfection 💗 will definitely be back!

Romantic Getaway

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, spotless and very stylish. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind. There was a lovely wine-tasting table in the lobby, offering different wines of various qualities to sample – such a nice touch!

There were several restaurants available to book, all of them excellent, especially Blue Water Grill and Olio. Room service was top-notch; we absolutely loved the hot chocolate that was served in our room every afternoon.

The price was a bit higher than other hotels, but it was truly worth it for the quality and experience.

Such a Wonderful Vacation.... Above and Beyond!

100% will be back! I visited Secrets the Vine last week for about 5 days. I shared a room with my mom and it was more than enough space. We had a preferred Ocean Front Room. The preferred status is worth it because you get a private concierge daily as well as access to the 12th floor which has upgraded liquor and food. Our concierge team included Eduardo, Aldo, and Stephano. I also spoke with Alejandra from time to time. They were all exceptional, but Eduardo really went above and beyond constantly. The room was beautiful, and the food was really good.

There were also so many activities. We did water aerobics, karaoke, tequila tasting, guacamole classes etc. Such a wonderful team. We loved the energy of Johnny. Thank you so much to the entire staff!

Secrets does a great job providing exceptional service to those guest. The beach and pools are fantastic. Food is well above average.
