Best resort!

This place is amazing. Great service great food. Friendly staff. Cocktail bar is the best! Ismael, Jonathan, Angel, Enrique are the best guys around. Go see them at the Cocktail bar,they are fun and funny!. Best drinks in Cancun. Very loving and friendly made me feel like I was home. And Hector he went out his way to make sure out stay was great

Completely Unacceptable Stay – Severe Bug Infestation Ignored

Our experience at a 5 star resort was extremely disappointing. Our room had an enormous number of dead bugs, especially on the balcony, making it completely unusable each and every day, bus were NEVER cleaned, Despite bringing this issue to management’s attention, nothing was done to resolve it during our stay or even now days latter.

This level of neglect and lack of response from staff is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that charges these rates. We expected at least a basic standard of cleanliness and care, but that was not delivered at all. I would not recommend staying here until management takes real action to address these issues.

Birthday trip made amazing!

Don’t waste your time with the time share presentation unless you want the free stuff. I got two free massages and an airline credit which is awesome but I lost three hours so not so sure it was worth it.

The resort is new so they are still working out some bugs but the service at this hotel is impeccable. Have your tip money ready!

Ismael, Jonathan, and Christian at the cocktail bar near the Black Iron are amazing! They make the best drinks and are kind people.

The guy at the taco bar is cool af too! Go for the Birria and the Al Pastor

Candelario, Aherio, and Angel at the pool are amazing hosts! They waited on us hand and foot and made the pool days without a cabana the best!

Orlandio at Plaza Mx is the best waiter ever. I had an issue with my chicken and he fixed it asked for more feedback on my overall experience which was nice.

Restaurants you should try:

Copal 10/10 authentic Mexican cuisine
Livo 10/10 the food here is so fresh!
Plaza Mx (Northside buffet) 10/10 Best margaritas!

Rooms are nicely decorated and modern. Bed are plushy comfortable with cooling sheets and blankets. Air conditioning system is top notch! Bathroom is well appointed with all the trimmings and a few extras in case you forget anything at home.

Jose is an awesome bartender at the Cantina bar. A terrific mixologist. Super friendly and made us a delicious Tommy's marg.

AVA Cancun- Best butlers ever

Everything about Ava was great, the food was excellent and plentiful. The resort was clean and well maintained and the staff very friendly and helpful. The best thing about our trip was our butlers, Hector and Galdino!!They went above & beyond to make sure our stay was easy & enjoyable. They made our dinner reservations, reserved pool chairs and made sure we had anything else we needed for an enjoyable stay.

Juan at Copal!!!

Juan at the Copal restaurant was amazing. Our reservation was supposed to be for five but they had it down as two. We were about to walk away and he stepped in. He seated us in a private area that he said many people don’t like but we loved it. Privacy and had our own view of the pool and beach. Juan deserves a raise!!!

Friends trip October 2025

We are back a few weeks from Ava Resort. The resort was new, and we waited a little over a year to visit. The pool was amazing, but we stuck to the member's pool. The Restaurants were awesome. Food was Unico level and so much to choose from. When we arrived, we were greeted by our Butler Rafael and checked in immediately. Our room was in the North Tower pretty close to the Lobby. I'm not going to lie the Resort is HUGE about a mile long. Service at the Members pool was spot on and we never had an empty drink. Too many to Thank. In the Evening we went to the Lobby bar in the North Tower. Enrique took care of us every night. He was so friendly and very accommodating. Lastly our Butlers Rafael and Plucky were there for every need we had. Every time we turned around, they were there. These guys were Rock Stars and made a vacation memorable. We have friends going down and we were able to get them to be their Butlers. This is what a membership is all about. I felt like Royalty with these guys around Thanks again guys you did great.

Jose at La cantina, he's the man!

Come to AVA to La Cantina and meet Jose, a fantastic guy that will teach you how a good drink is served.
We tried few of the mezcal cocktails and they were fantastic. His smile is the best garnish.

4 Amigos

Our trip was two couples for a five day stay. Ariel and Abraham were our butlers. They made our stay very enjoyable. They were almost like immediate friends, but did everything they could to make our stay memorable. As timing worked out, we had most of our contact with Abraham and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. His customer service skills are excellent, and his personality is invigorating. We also enjoyed Armando at the pool, taking care of our food and drink needs. We have returned trips planned with family and friends in February and April 2026 and look forward to seeing everyone again.

Amazing night

Went to the hotel hotel bar, staff was so lovely.
Angel, Luis Miguel, Vianey, and Jonathan were all more than accommodating and lovely.
