Lovely

Just returned home after a lovely 11 nights here ! First time visiting Jamaica and what a lovely hotel it is. We did have an issue with room once we had arrived but was quickly sorted via the app which was handy. The beach is beautiful my only concern is that sometimes you can hear the music blaring from RIU next door but that did not bother us too much.

Really enjoyed the Italian , buffet was good plenty to choose from and the drinks service was quick.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Tyrone & Kyash (vibe team) deserve a pay rise !!!! They came over every day to say hello , have a chat and a laugh with us . Both really made an effort during our stay here and made our holiday fun!

I will say that this is not a 5 star hotel, quite chipped tables , broken tile in our bathroom shower etc which could be replaced. But apart from that the rooms are lovely & clean and very spacious .

Entertainment was great, really enjoyed the silent disco and the shows they put on.

I would definitely return to this hotel again in future.

Not good at go next door to the RUI

This hotel is just looks! Horrible service. The food is the worst I have ever tasted from and resort I’ve stayed at, the only good this is the jerk all day. There is no club on this property which I think it’s the stupidness thing, it’s a sports bar! With food! No night life at all and please don’t book ur wedding here!! They serve you buffet food!!!!!

Lost luggage ?????

I lost a luggage when arriving at Jamiaca airport and later, Westjet said that they found the luggage at the resort where I stayed. The story from the resort was that my luggage was transferred to the resort and they tried to contact me at the resort and got no answer. This is very interesting story since they know what room that I stayed at the resort based on my name tag on the luggage and could not reach me?????
Now, this is a very bad part. Finally, Westjet was able to pick up my luggage and transferred back to my place. When I received my luggage, most of my items are missing???? The luggage is almost empty and the resort did not notice it???? Worst than that, why they did not try to reach me while I am at the resort and said that they tried but could not get an answer from me???? How did they contact me???? Did they not know what room that I stayed in based on my name on the luggage at least???

I would leave up to the reader to interpret what possible happened to my items in my luggage at the resort. For now, I would not think that I will be back to this resort. Besides, the food was below average for the advertised 5 star hotel.

Horrible service!!!

**⭐ 1 out of 5 stars**
This is my second time staying here and I can’t say how disappointed I am. My stay at this resort has been nothing short of frustrating this go around. The only positive part of this trip was the amazing tour through Prime — especially our guide, Jahee. He was kind, knowledgeable, and truly made that experience memorable.

Unfortunately, everything else was a disaster. The front desk staff was rude and dismissive, and maintenance was extremely slow. Our outlets didn’t work for an entire day — which meant we couldn’t dry our hair or get ready. Because of that, we missed our dinner reservation and were not accommodated or offered any solution. It felt like no one cared.

The following day, we tried to book a dinner reservation again and were told we couldn’t because we “didn’t have the app.” At this point, it felt like every step of the experience was unnecessarily difficult.

The pool bar staff was also rude, room service was extremely slow, and one night our food never arrived at all. The **shower flooded if it ran too long, and no one seemed to have any sense of urgency to fix anything.

To be fair, the food itself was good, and the male staff members we interacted with were kind and respectful, but that’s about the only positive.

I leave tomorrow — and honestly, I can’t leave soon enough. This resort needs major improvements in customer service, communication, and basic maintenance. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone in its current state.

Very very good experience

I had a wonderful stay at royalton hotel I met a lot of people the staff was incredible big up dj in slim aka Aliko Jahmone picord and devonie they made my stay very enjoyable they were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities made my visit even more pleasant I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

NOT RECOMMENDED!! I would never go back for any reason!

I would NEVER recommend this resort. It is far from 5 stars. Roaches, power outages, the worst customer service (specifically management) to name a few. Upon check in we placed our items in the room, changed and went to the pool. We were told reservations are needed for the restaurants on property. When we went to make the reservation via the app and in person we were told all the restaurants were fully booked until Tuesday (except the Indian restaurant). Our checkout date was Tuesday and we were not able to get the reservations for main restaurant we wanted (hibachi). Additionally once we kept asking for a reservation, we received the latest time and if the food was wrong or not good, the kitchen would be closed after we were served.

When I go to an all-inclusive Autograph collection, I expect a rodent free room. Unfortunately, that did not occur. We had roaches in our room on the 6th floor the first night (around 10p). They were in the bed we laid in, in my clothing and around the room. We tried to report it and speak to management but they were unavailable at that time. The staff did not seem surprised at all, told us to bring a few things for the night into the new room. The front desk gave us another room on the 4th floor and told us we would need to switch again the next day. The next day, I went to the front desk to speak to management several times throughout the day. I provided my phone number twice was told to come back at 9a, at noon and then I was told to set up a time for a meeting. I was begging to speak to someone and they refused. We even filled out a written complaint Sunday. No one to this day has called me back during our stay.

After switching to our 3rd room as requested by the front desk, I was stepping into the shower and the entire resort went out of power. No A/C, no W-Fi, which meant I couldn’t communicate with my family. I reported this to the Marriott customer service line. I have put forth so much effort to speak with management and they did not attempt to assist during our stay. It has taken approximately 5 months for someone in leadership to respond. Save yourself the headache with dealing with this “5-star resort”.

Not Royalton Punta Cana or updated resorts.

Went to this resort to attend a "destination wedding." Compared it to Royalton Punta Cana which I experience back in 2018. Didn't compare. Not in service, drink and food options, nor activities. Yes, I did have Diamond Club. The beach is amazing. Staff is friendly. Plenty of bars and swimming pools. Not too far from the airport. Not on the level of the newer Royalton resorts. This place needs a ramp up. Traveler be ware. I do believe the bride and groom were happy.

Excellent service at cool blue, period……..

Chevanese the server and Mr. Andrew the manager kept my family and friends very quenched with our needs, they also accommodated us with our drink of choice, and continued to show excellent customer service support, by checking on us, making sure our needs were met. Fun in Paradise

Markeeno, Gawayne, and Kaydeen at the Diamond Beach Bar were absolutely fantastic. Gave us awesome drinks, entertainment, and lots of laughs. Will absolutely come back to see them again!
