We just returned from another amazing stay at OCT, and once again, the staff made the trip unforgettable!

Luis was our butler with the Privilege package, and he went above and beyond from start to finish. He kept us updated on daily activities, checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed, and even helped us with local recommendations and a couple of misplaced items. His attention and kindness really made our stay extra special!

Breakfast and lunch in the Privilege Lounge were always such a great start to the day thanks to Emmanuel. He always had our drinks ready and waiting. He and Victor were both constantly on the move making sure everyone’s coffees and mimosas were topped up.

By the pool, Claudia always always brought such fun, positive energy to the day. Estrella kept the poolside drinks coming and was so friendly and attentive! Dinner in the privilege lounge was always a highlight thanks to Angel, who always took wonderful care of us. And finally, our kids loved the activities at the Jelly Playhouse, thanks to all of the care from Berenice, Maria and Eli!

The staff at OCT truly make the experience. Their warmth, energy, and attention to detail are why we keep coming back year after year—and we can’t wait to return again soon

Excellent Butler and facilty

WE had an Excellent vacation at this resort, have been here many times and basically consider it home away from home. Our Butler, Carlos (Charlie) takes excellent care of us, checking in regularly thru the day. Jose and Claudia at the quiet pool also are very accommodating. The Privelege stall and Freddy at the El Beso pool all make us feel like family. Will be back soon!!

Viva Mexico!!!

First let me say this is my favorite place. The hotel is beautiful the staff are genuinely amazing people. From Oliver to Reynaldo to Javier to Marisela, they are rock stars. Mireya and don’t don’t forget Frank the bellman.. They are the best.
Our Delta rep, attentive and professional. The staff are so courteous and friendly. They go above and beyond what is needed and really make every attempt to make sure your experience is memorable.

Excelleny and Attentive Service!

Our stays at Ocean Coral & Turquesa are always pleasurable. The rooms are comfortable, drinks are plentiful and service is amazing. Our butler, Carlos, is phenomenal. He is always paying close attention to detail and going above and beyond to meet our needs. Alfredo always helps us with our spa needs and is the best to book with. Francisco with DiveIt! did a great job with helping us set up our private catamaran to Isla Mujeres. Ricardo (El Beso pool) and Antonio provide excellent bar service and are great with keeping the drinks filled. Emmanuel, Poncho, Angel and several others are always fun of excellent service when dining in the Privilege Restaurant.
Overall the hospitality and experience at this resort are top notch. Our friends here are now family!

THE QUEEN OF AMERICA !

Great service while on Vacation at OCT

Great services was provided by Buttler Luis while we stayed at OCT. One of the best buttler we had at a Ocean resort. The other staff are also great such as Freddy and Elizabeth with animation.

Girls Trip

Arrived at this resort and didnt expect our room to be ready but went to check in to get bracelets. El Beso check in was closed at the time . Waited 35 minutes and they told us to come back at 3 for our room . Understandable . Went back at 310 and waited another 20 minutes to be told to come back at 4 . Wasnt happy about this at all . People in our party were told they had 2 beds and only had a King . I was sent a survey and when I voiced my opinion about check in they said they would take care of a dinner reservation for us . Great except when we got to the restaurant they didnt have our booking . Very disappointed.
For the restaurants you need to book in the app at 9am same day . Food was hit and miss . Italian was best . Japanese was so smokey I didnt enjoy my meal because my eyes were burning .
El Beso pool was so boring . Nothing going on. Adult only yes but we still want to have a little entertainment. Entertainment in the lobby after dinner would have been great too.
Rooms were very nice . I give them credit in this area.
Beach sand was very nice and you could walk far but the water was very murky. I didn't want to swim in the ocean.
I wouldn't return. There are other resorts that are way nicer.

Never Again!

My wife and I have been traveling to the Cancun area since we bought a Palace Premier membership in 1999. We had not been to Puerto Morales so we gave the Ocean Coral Turquesa a try this year. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
We paid for an ocean view junior deluxe suite and, upon arrival, were sent to the adults only El Beso (the kiss) side of the resort despite the fact that after rcent surgery I walk with a cane and that part of the resort has no nighttime amenites and is a VERY long walk to the main resort.

The room was very far from the ocean and had a solid patio wall so the only view we had was standing on the patio which we couldn't do because it had a bat habitat and and swarming bees.
We requested a different room and after having no room for an entire day we were placed in a garden level instead of an ocean view unit. Here were the conditions of this unit:
1. Cockroaches in both our bed and bath. They did a deep cleaning so the room smelled like insecticide for the rest of the trip.
2. The refrigerator was frozen up so all the beverages were warm. The advertisement of stocked liqour in the room turned out to mean two Superior beers.
3. The patio sliding door was off its track and nearly impossible to open.
4. The outdoor patio had only one chair.
5. The Roshney toilet ( try to look that up) gurgled constantly and did not flush properly.
6. The air conditioner did not work and had to be repaired which meant another day out of the room.
7. The shower floor was missing its nonslip surface so I requested a mat. Instead they brought a plastic stool with a bent leg. When I tried to use it I collapsed to the floor and my wife had to help me up.

This hotel was listed as 5 Star. IT IS NOT! Be prepared for a pyramid structure resort where you get the absolute minimum unless you buy their H10 membership. Otherwise you get a room with no robes, no stocked bar, and few other amenities. Perhaps because we are elderly we were not hounded to go to one of their "meetings" but i pitied the young people we saw coming out of those with a hotel sales agent.

After recent surgery I need to use handicapped restrooms. None of the ones I used would pass OSHA standards. Floors were slick marble like surfaces so once they are wet they are treacherous. Handrails are limited and toliets are not raised. I HAD TO INCH AROUND TO AVOID FALLING.

We went in off season so many restaurants and services would be closed without notice. When we did go to the Girasoles(sunflower) Mexican restaurant we were told reservations were not needed. Despite over 10 tables being open guests without reservations were told to come back two hours later.

So, the next day we went directly to guest services where Estrella promised to book a 7:00 pm table for their Italian restaurant. When we arrive no reservation existed.

On Thursday night, the sixth night of our stay, we both became ill. We are being tested today for salmonella poisoning and haven't been able to eat or get out of bed for two days. I had to upgrade our return flights to first class at a cost of over one thousand dollars so we could sleep on the flight home.

We made a huge mistake going to this resort, but to be fair we met a lot of nice staff who went out of the way to try and make us comfortable. No one elderly or with a disabilty should even think about this resort.

Perfect getaway

Just came home from our 2nd visit here. Definitely not our last. From check in to check out, everything was great. The resort is well maintained, rooms are spacious, food is very good but the stand out is the staff. I have to mention our butler Brandon. He was excellent and made our visit extra special. Freddie at the El Beso bistro was amazing and Ricardo kept us well hydrated and was so great. I’ve only mentioned a few but every single staff member was so nice.
