Bad food, not clean, horrible service, and stairs everywhere!!!

My family went for my birthday and I must say we were all very disappointed. From the minute we were dropped off and they talked us into staying at the Sens which is the family resort attached at first which was far from all of the other restaurants and pool and entertainment and hard to walk to with steps everywhere and my parents being in their 70s we asked to be moved to our original rooms. Once we were in our original reserved room our view was AMAZING! We had a corner room so we had 2 walls of windows facing the ocean and it was gorgeous. Other than that - the tiny shower that had no shower door left the floor wet and slippery and dangerous for anyone who tried using the bathroom after someone showered. The room service was horrible and when we ran out of toilet paper and called twice and never got any we had to go down to the desk and beg for it. Never got our room cleaned or fresh towels and we stayed there 3 nights so we made lots of calls for towels and no one spoke English when we called so we always had to go to desk to get whatever we needed because they could not understand our request. When I say stairs everywhere - I mean if you have elderly travelers do NOT stay here! My mom fell the first day because they have stairs NOT marked well and she did not see it and fell down walking to the elevator. She had to then be transported by staff via wheelchair on site after that and it took up to an hour to get staff to provide wheelchair and since there are stairs everywhere at this resort it was difficult to go anywhere especially to dinner reservations. To make reservations for dinner is nearly impossible on the app which is the only way to make reservations, and the app kept kicking me out saying "timed out" so I struggled making reservations for my birthday dinners while staying at this place. The food was not good, the staff was not friendly, and the resort was not clean. We paid almost $7000 for 3 nights at this place for 5 of us and it was not worth it at all. The only nice person we met was Angel the bell guy who helped us move from the Sens room to the Grand Oasis room when we asked to be put in our original room. He was the sweetest guy and knew 4 languages and actually understood our requests. Jerry the entertainer guy when we saw him was always friendly as well but everyone else was complaining about staffing issues, people not tipping, or they just didn't understand us so could not help us at all. We will not stay here ever again!

Varning !! So bad , don’t book

We had a terrible experience at Oasis Palm and with the salespeople who sold us the dolphin and adventure package. They completely scammed us. The activities they promised were not available. They guaranteed us a private dolphin experience, but it turned out to be in a group. The salesperson totally lied to us, and we paid almost $500 for two adults and two children for an experience that did not match what was advertised.

The hotel itself was extremely disappointing. The pools were dirty, the water slides in the kids’ area were closed, the food was terrible and almost the same every day, and the hygiene was poor. The entire hotel was dirty. The rooms were sandy, and despite asking them to change the sheets, they did not do so for three days. I had to ask multiple times before we finally got clean sheets. The minibar was not included and came at an extra cost.

Everything was so bad that after five days, we decided to switch hotels by contacting our travel agency in Sweden. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. If I could, I would give it one star – or even less.

Worst hotel food will kill someone and staff are thiefs

Only stay in this hotel if you want to die from food poisioning or have your valuables robbed by the cleaners. Never stay in this hotel worst hotel in cancun. Staff do not care. After my whole family got food poisioning and had sickness and diahrea for 4days they told me my family were lying we found 30 other people who had food poisioning from the hotel they also closed the restuarant where we became ill for 3days. Also the day before we was going home we had not had our room cleaned for 4 days so i asked at reception for it to be cleaned, they sent a cleaner and we left our room for it to be cleaned after returning to the room being cleaned we realised my rolex watch was missing. Staff were very unhelpful didnt really want to help just wanted us to shut up was scared of other guest hearing. Just dont stay here you would have a better holiday sleeping on the beach.

We went for my Birthday. I never write reviews but do not stay at this resort! We arrived Friday night. The staff acted as if we were a bother to them. I was in the shower and the water was not draining but that’s not the kicker. Literal feces came up from the drain! We packed all of our stuff and went to the front desk. They argued with us that we did it and they didn’t even say sorry!! They were nice enough to give us a downgraded room. Never again!

Don’t book, Never Again

If I could giver ZERO stars that’s what the resort ”motel” would get.
Within us being there four hours (Husband, daughter 13 , son 10 and myself) I was walking up the club area to speak to a manager. My spouse was talking to another resort to see if they could get us in. We were in the palm building which is right in between grand and Sens. since I booked through EXPEDIA they would not do a refund even when I was speaking to the manager and the Expedia assistance I was there for less than 4 hours at this time.
Our room was like a crabby motel room.
We stayed for 5 nights and only got the room cleaned once. I had to call twice to get towels.
We were told that we couldn’t use the pool that was between our building and the Sens. It was the Sens “pool”. Same thing with the bar. Even though that was right next to our room and the closest to us. Why would you connect a restaurant to a resort building then say well you can’t use this one.
The bar at the ocean was slow ALWAYS had a line. The works never asked if you needed anything, but they were too fast to pick up those plastic cups. I would barely finish, and they would come and collect.
We went to try to use the slides at the kid’s club. We were told that it was being cleaned, and we would have to wait till 330pm we came back and then it changed to 4pm then they had a movie on so my kids couldn’t use the slide.
The app is not good. We tried 4 nights for reservations. Was denied every time. Tried different restaurants and times still I would get a sorry nothing available. Even tried the CHAT they weren’t able to get us in. We had the buffet every breakfast and dinner. It was horrible. Same cold “hot” food. Nothing different and everything tasted the same. We actual left the resort to get food down the street twice.
The rooms are clean the restroom by the restaurants and in the public area are gross filthy.
The service overall was awful! The workers didn’t speak English or only a handful did. My spouse is Mexican, and we have been to 6 resorts in Cancun/Riviera Maya area, 1 Cozumel and 1 Cabos. I have NEVER left a bad review. It was JUST bad.
Overall, booking on Tuesday and left Saturday. Didn’t have time to research or even get any to choose from.
Now reading the reviews I see that it’s not me or the time IT’S THE RESORT!

Not delighted

I would not recommend this hotel, had to wait for room, too few servers, long lines at the bars, pool was terrible, missing steps, husband fell getting out, also had to help several other people out. Food was fair. I realize it is a family resort, but children need to be kept out of pool with the bar.
