The Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa is one of the hotels that make up the Palladium Riviera Maya Complex. In total there are five resorts and the Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa is the hotel located in the southernmost area. It is made up exclusively of suites, which are distributed throughout 9 peaceful villas, all located very close to the sea.  The peaceful, privileged setting is not an obstacle for guests to enjoy all the comfort and services of the Palladium Riviera Maya Complex, which are open to all Grand Palladium guests and accessible via the free internal transport system.
In addition, the hotel stands out due to it being very close to the unusual peaceful salt water swimming pool called “Las Rocas” which, together with the bar of the same name and the beauty of the coastline, combine to make the perfect setting for enjoying one of the most beautiful sunrises in the Mexican Caribbean or dinner in an incomparable setting. Bars like the Hemingway include international “Premium” Beverages.

The hotel, which is made up of suites that can comfortably accommodate both families, thanks to the facilities for adults and children, and adults and couples due to its peaceful setting, is located very close to Playa del Carmen and Tulum, two of the most popular places on the Riviera Maya, facing the sea and with a private beach with 800 metres of white sand. All surrounded and protected by mangrove forest and gardens that integrate it perfectly in its setting.

    Junior Suite

    It has an area of 570 square feet, spacious, centrally located rooms. All come with a king sized bed or 2 double beds as well as a sofa bed. Our Junior Suites are divided into two types, with an open bath with jacuzzi in the middle of the bedroom, ideal for couples or newly-weds, and rooms with an enclosed bath recommended for families. Surrounded by our beautiful gardens, mangrove forests and lake, these suites will make you feel in touch with nature.

Don’t leave this until the end of your stay

So we had lovely service by Freneli and Jahyli at the door. I’m not a steak eater but my friend is and liked the steak. We both came back a second night for the short ribs, they match Montana’s. The best part about this restaurant is they are willing to serve desert from neighboring La Adelita, the tres leches cake is great here!

Chef Lorenzo prepared the most amazing meal the night we were here. We also were treated to lobster pieces sauted

Oh my goodness. We had a fabulous meal here and to our surprise we were greeted by Fernando. We had meet him about 7 years ago when this was the old Royal restaurant.

El dorado

El dorado was great food and amazing service. Fernando was fantastic. He was always there when needed and always with a smile on his face! Awesome server. The filet mignon was by far my favourite meal on the trip! The wine was bottomless and was delicious!

Santos - The best waiter at El Dorado restaurant Grand Palladium Colonial Mexico

We had the most amazing meal at this restaurant made all the better by our fabulous waiter Santos. We understand that he had only been there 3 months but his friendly, humour and professional service was excellent. By far the best waiter we had throughout the whole holiday. Thank you Santos for looking after us so well.
