About Grand Decameron Montego Beach, A Trademark All-Inclusive Resort
Royal Decameron is an all inclusive resort located five minutes from the Donald Sangster Airport. It is ideally situated on Mobay's Hip Strip and close to shopping and nightlife. This resort is on the beach with a spectacular view of the ocean. Royal Decameron\'s guestrooms all feature ocean views, most with private balconies or terraces. Rooms can accommodate up to four guests with king bed, or two double beds. All rooms are decorated in a clean, tropical style and contain fully equipped bathroom, television, air conditioning,roof fan, iron with ironing board, hairdryer and telephones. Enjoy non-motorized water sports such as windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling, pedals, hobbie cat and more.
The resort has a total of 144 rooms, divided into 136 of standard category with ocean view and 8 of deluxe category with privileged views to the Caribbean Sea. All of them decorated with a modern design that introduces Caribbean aspects.
Each room has a balcony or terrace and in them you have the option of choosing an accommodation of up to 4 persons, in King size or twin size beds, depending on your accommodation needs.

I love it here!!!
The room I stayed in was great. I love the food and entertainment. My check in was done by Konia Francis and she was awesome and very helpful. The bar staff Shanakay was great too. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will be back.

Last minute solo trip
The location was excellent, close to the airport, beach and nearby shops. A relaxing atmosphere with spacious and clean rooms. Very reasonable reort for the value in price. I had room 2223 in the sunshine building, a nice room on the end with a great balcony and bathroom. The downside of this room was it was across the street from what appeared to be the projects. Below on the street were cars revving, playing music, talking and smoking, all throughout the day and night. It was so noisy. I did enjoy relaxing by the beach and the swim up bar at the pool. The bartender I think was Daimon and the front desk lady her name started with a K were amazing! Last minute find will probably only recommend as a last resort.

Personal experience using the gym facilities at Hotel Decameron, Montego Beach (17/10/2025 - 23/10/2025)
This review is exclusive for my experience using the gym facilities a the Decamron, Montego Bay beach. Although, the gym equipment was dated and some exercise machines out of operation, my experience was made more enjoyable due to the excellent customer service of the staff. In particular, a lady called Sweetness, was extremely attentiveness, with a warm and pleasant approachable nature and wonderful people skills. She was very helpful, with a big welcoming smile. If I were to return to this hotel it would be solely due to the staff and in particular Sweetness.

I had a great time at the grand decameron I went to the gym every morning greeted with a big smile from the best coordinator sweetness always attentive always there to help me out with the equipment she is stern about her job you literally can't and when I say can't it means can't go in the gym without proper gears or sneakers but she is a gem very beautiful and hardworking and sweet
