Just Okay!!
The resort was just ok. Front desk was HORRIBLE! The food was so so. The entertainment was really bad. The resort itself was clean but needs some updating.

Pros: You're in paradise! There's a variety of food options (probably the best is buffet, Mangoes/Swim Up Bar, and the Jerk Hut). The lobby is beautiful - you are greeted with a rum punch at check in and if you miss the buffet when you get in, there's a coffee bar with a few sandwiches, baked goods and of course ice cream. There was a variety of main show entertainment each night. The best was the Michael Jackson tribute which you can watch from the terrace bar or the patio near the pool (they also serve a really great seafood buffet (with steak) but you have to pay extra. it is worth it). The calypso steel drum band was also amazing!
Lastly, if you're a water baby like me, go 'head and get back in that pool after 10PM. That's what you came for baby!
Cons: At check in be prepared for someone to approach you as your "personal concierge" - they are basically there to sell a presentation for you to buy a timeshare. Do what you will with this info.
There is a good amount of seaweed if you are walking into the water at the beach. Definitely recommend water shoes. Also from a distance it looks blue but up close it is murky - BUT the water is warm which is an awesome treat coming from the northeast.
The Seaside Restaurant and Bar needs some help lol. I ate with 4 friends and none of use had a good meal. I had the swordfish, which was stated to be a filet but it was basically the equivalent of what you would get from the frozen food section (Gorton's Seafood). One friend chicken alfredo (not enough chicken and frankly not a lot of pasta) another friend had the lasagna. Booth were not great per them.
The drinks can taste syrupy after a while because they use mixes instead of real fresh fruit or real coconut milk/pineapple for pina coladas.
In your room - the pillows are flat. so if you are prone to neck aches, i would find a way to bring your own. the bed is VERY firm. not a deal breaker for me but the pillows being unsupportive is what can make or break the sleep. Also the floors are tiled, so you will be using towels to keep the floors dry when you come in from the pool/beach. If you have a clothes line or at least clothes pins, i would recommend bringing that to hang up your wet swimwear. I brought 5 swimsuits for our stay ( 5 days) and probably I could've brought 7 or 8 because it didn't dawn on me that we were going to go back to the water after meals in the evening.
Also, idk if this was a probably just for us but everyday at 9/9:30AM we would hear bubbling from the toilet while we were resting in bed. When we opened the door to the bathroom, there would be soapy foam coming out of the toilet and on the floor. We used towels everyday to soak up the water. Yes, we told hotel staff but nothing really changed.
Lastly, this is not necessarily a pro or a con but be prepared for stray kittens. lol At the time of our stay, there were about 3-4 stray kittens that would circulate between the waterpark area and the patio adjacent to Fresh restaurant/buffet.

Overall I had a great time here. As a single person, I was skeptical about it being a family resort because I didn't really want to hear a bunch of kids running around/screaming/yelling etc. However because we were down there before Columbus Day and arrived on a Tuesday, there weren't really that many kids.Pros: You're in paradise! Horrible experience
The food is not fresh, everything is super expensive at the spa, it's ridiculous. The timeshare people are way too intrusive & it gives creepy. Every seemed like they expected a tip which was very uncomfortable.

SLOW service. Did not get the type room I had reserved 6 months prior to arrival. 3 Palms Steakhouse was one of the worst dining experiences ever. Impossible to escape the constant driving bass beats from very loud speakers.

Perfect Place for Business and Pleasure Combo
Dreams Rose Hall Resort and Spa was the perfect destination for hosting international guests for our business conference. The over 30 countries that were represented, enjoyed the meeting facilities as well as the entertainment provided by the hotel. The food represented the rich Jamaican cuisine as well as catered to the international palate. I will be back.

Avoid this Hotel - Better Options Exist
While the hotel is located in a very pretty area, that is about the only nice thing I can say. The food and drink were extremely low quality. All of the mocktails tasted like water and the food was overall gross. For $600 a night it felt like I was staying in a low budget motel. Rooms were rundown and generally unclean. Bed was very uncomfortable. For the cost there are much better options in Jamaica.

Third Visit
This was our 3rd visit to this hotel. I'll be honest - if you are looking for a sparklingly modern hotel where everything is perfect then this is not the place for you. Yes, the hotel looks tired in places but that absolutely should not put you off. If you want a resort where the staff go out of their way to make sure that you have the best holiday possible then look no further. We had last been in 2022 but many of the team remembered us and seemed genuinely pleased to see us again. It seems almost unfair to name individuals are there are so many great people but Dennis the reception supervisor was especially helpful. Sylvester the big chief of the breakfast omelette station always greeted us with a beaming smile and the entertainment team went about their business with incredible energy. Paulette kept our room nice and clean. We ate at all of the speciality restaurants. The Asian was our favourite but they were all nice. If you go to the Three Palms, be prepared that the portion sizes are large! We are already looking forward to returning soon.

Absolutely the most amazing place. The grounds are emaculate, just gorgeous, with much to do. The staff are beyond exceptional, with a caring, beautiful spirit, trying to determine your every need. The food is fresh and delicious, and the entertainment was outstanding every evening. The only problem was the bed was not the most comfortable and pillows were soft. But I would put up with that any day just to go back and experience this beautiful resort and its wonderful staff.

Better than advertised
Based on several reviews I saw I was led to believe the stay would be basic, but I am happy it was not the case. The food, which was my main concern, was amazing. The variety was good, in terms of cuisines and preparation, and the taste was top tier - there was nothing on my plate I did not like. The facilities, entertainment options and activities were also good. You were only bored if you insisted on it. AND the staff were friend and accommodating. From arrival to departure, they were convincing that they were pleased to serve.

Great experience
The location and beauty of the property grabs you from entering the gates. The lawns are beautiful. Check in was seamless and the staff made you feel at home. The rooms are a bit dated but that doesn't take away from the cleanliness of it. Book it! You won't regret it!

Excellent Customer service in Rum Factory
I am currently staying at this resort and was compelled to make a pre-departure review based on the excellent service provided by Ms. Julia (server in Rum Factory). She is fit to serve in any 5 star hotel. She is pleasant and went above and beyond to delight us. She is an excellent server, the best we have had in Jamaica. A great sale's agent that could sell you a worm and convince you it was noodle. Great job to Ms. Tanya (supervisor) and Ms. Diamond (hostess).

disappointed, and had to put it in writing.
I've been coming -to this hotel since I was in my
early teens with my parents, now I'm a young
idult looking to start a family and I would never
consider bringing them here for the horrible
experience I had.
I never thought it was possible to go to bed
HUNGRY in Gn all-inclusive hotel, Staying up past
10 is not a good idea here, all restaurants and the
dining area are done for the night, and-the only
way to get something to eat is at an additional
cost of 10 USD for room service, which you may
never get through to, and if you do brace again
for a long wait.
Most of the staff were very rude, the only cool
workers were -the bellmen and security, with -the
xception of maybe a handful of decent servers
best, I felt like I was begging for responses,
even at the simplest of requests.
It was 3 nights of inhospitable service and racing
to get a belly full before 10PM. Money wasted!

Dream experience. A must visit property.👍🏽
I attended a Conference and found this facility to be an excellent choice. Overall experience was very good and the staff members were professional and pleasant. Food was good and I loved that there were many healthy choices. Beautiful property. I plan to visit again. 👍🏽❤️
