Wedding Day/Week Vacation

Just had my wedding at Dreams Playa Mujeres. I cannot thank this resort and the staff for making our day and our week long stay as amazing as it was. The food was great at every restaurant we went to, our wedding meals were fantastic and the staff went above and beyond. Would love to
shout out a few people but especially our wedding day coordinator, Erika. She really knows what she is doing and made our day so special. Cannot thank her enough!
Omar was our bellhop when we arrived and left and he remembered us the entire stay. Alejandro helped my family with their bali beds by the pool and was so nice and helpful the whole week!

If you are on the fence about booking this resort for a vacation or your wedding, I honestly would recommend 1000%!

Bad food, Bad drains

One of the worst experiences at a resort. The food is awful almost anywhere you eat. The Mexican themed restaurant was bad which was surprising being in Mexico. My partner said to me “ I feel like I am being starved because I can’t find anything I want to eat.” We aren’t picky eaters and others in our family felt the same. The room had a few cockroaches. The offered to spray but that don’t help. Our shower drain was slow and caused the entire bathroom and hallway to flood after 3 minutes. Their fix was to seal up the cracks around the shower door. This slowed the flooding and caused more dirty water to stay in the shower. On a positive note, the pools are nice, the beach is clean, and the spa was excellent.

Skip this resort :-(

I really had high expectations for this resort - after all, I went to a Secrets resort (15 years ago) for my honeymoon and it was fabulous. The food taste and quality was significantly worse at Dreams this time. We went to the buffet for dinner once - never again! I found literally one item that looked safe/appetizing. Got chicken tacos for dinner one evening - had lots of hard pieces of chicken so obviously I didn't eat that night. Many odd/unique choices for dinner at the specialty restaurants - most people don't want octopus (Marin) or raw meat (Gaucho). I felt hungry the whole time. Coffee at Dulce was terrible quality. The ocean had lots of debris and seaweed - does not make for the most relaxing experience. The resort is spread out, with lots of smaller pools - so if you're traveling with seniors, be prepared for lots of complaining. I guess you get what you pay for, and I will be trying a Beaches resorts next time. Save your money and do the same. Sorry, Dreams.

Amazing stay

The staff were amazing and kind. The entertainment at the pools were great and our kids loved it. Including the turn down service from housekeeping she was excellent. I also want to shout out Jaime Lagunas in the pool concierge for always making my stay at the beach and pool flawless. Susanna as well was always kinda and attentive. Thank you all.

BEST SPA EXPERIENCE !!!

Spa - ask for Minerva. By far, THE BEST Relaxation massage I've ever had. Will definitely go back and get another massage. She sensed and delvered perfect pressure and balanced that with aromatic essential oils for great relaxation.

Use the safe in your room.

Location and serving staff are great. However my wedding ring mysteriously disappeared from my room after the room cleaning service. Learn from my mistake and use the safe in the room! Hotel didn’t seem to care about my ring missing.

After going to Dreams , I don't wish to stay at a regular hotel ever again.
World restaurant was ny best ever. Fresh fruit on deck always. The service of the staff amazing. A definitely must go.

This resort is beautiful and the staff really is the absolute best!! From the spa to the beach/pool staff and front desk, we were taken care of very well. Shoutout to Alejandro and Jaime at the Preferred Beach club, they were so nice! Can’t wait to come back again!

Absolutely amazing resort experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. staff was amazingly attentive and the resort was stunning. we all had the best time and would love to stay again. The wedding ceremony as well as after party was gorgeous as well. All staff were beyond helpful and friendly

Amazing hotel

Amazing hotel, great staff who are always friendly. Great food , loads of options and high standards. Great kids club, lots of activities and a very family friendly atmosphere.

Cockroaches

Useless preferred club, save your money it's not worth it. We found cockroachs in our room and nothin was done. Will never be back.
