Amazing experience

The rooms are very nice and the view is amazing. All of the staff are so welcoming and are super fun. The activities every few hours are entertaining and I enjoyed the food. I also like how the resort is so close and I don’t need a cart to get around.

Best vacay

We had so much fun!! The staff was so so kind. My favorite was the entertainment staff!!! Especially Luis, Sergio, Laura, Michelle, and Karen!!! I loved hanging out with them and playing the games!! I’m going to miss them :(. Also the chef, Ricardo and the waiter Christian were AMAZING!! I am sad to leave and would recommend this trip to anyone. The night activities were also very entertaining and fun to watch!!

Best vacation!

This was our first visit to Beach Palace resort and it was excellent! Each and every staff member that we interacted with was kind and very helpful. Thank you for each accommodation provided as well as the enjoyable food, comfortable beds, and clean atmosphere. The Fourth of July party was better in Mexico than we have experienced in America! Many special kudos to the entertainment staff.. Luis, Michelle, Karen, Laura and Sergio!! You guys made our visit so much fun! Thank you for each challenge of the day (in which we looked forward to), volleyball, aqua fitness, aqua dance, and water polo! We feel you have become part of our family! Thank you for each interaction, all of your energy and kindness and hospitality! Each of you are incredible at what you do and made us feel welcome. Thank you to Monserat for always being drink and food ready for us when we were ready! Your service and sweet smile made our day, every day. Another special thank you to Christian at Momo!! Thank you for your kindness on each of our visits as well as your patience and gentle demeanor. Your service and hospitality are memorable and we are so grateful for you! This resort has the Palace name, but I'm not so sure.....

This is our 4th consecutive stay at a Palace Resort so this review is comparative to the other Palace properties we've stayed at.
THE GOOD: The food at Beach Palace was surprisingly good. Specifically, the Smokehouse offered a New York Strip that was at least 12oz. Usually, this would be an up-charge at other resorts, but not here. Also, the food quality at Tavolas was also exceptional. The smoked salmon eggs benedict was one of the BEST breakfast dishes I've had at Palace. Momo's and Gondola were spot on with their food quality as well.
The staff at Beach Palace are phenominal. In fact, it's an expectation now for our family to have superior service at ANY palace resort. I'd like to name exceptional staff, but they all rocked!
THE BAD: Facilities!! There are things that are simply out of their control and I realize that there is a major upgrade/renovation planned in the next 4 months, but the lobby is terrible. If you are a group of 4 looking for a place to sit and relax....good luck. There was literally nowhere within the facility to just chill as a group. This perpetuated into the sports bar (the only bar inside the hotel). The bar boasts a wide open layout with only a few tables and bench seats to accommodate 2 maybe 3 people. Additionally, the rooms are in need of renovation but why can't Palace figure out the "slamming door" issue??!! Both Cozumel Palace and Beach Palace have this problem. There's nothing worse than waking every 15 min to a door closing down the hall.
THE UGLY: Crowded, packed, and nowhere to hide. Adolescents and kids ran wild at this resort and I knew something was up when we noticed there were zero Diamond Members here. The sports bar failed to regulated kids in the sports bar past 10 p.m. and some of the restaurant staff failed to enforce dress code standards. There were children's toys floating in the hot tub, people smoking cigars at the rooftop pool, and graffiti sprayed on the abandoned hotel next door. The final straw came on night 3 when my wife and I finished dinner and made our way to the beach at around 7 p.m. for that "romantic beach walk". There was a table of 4 having dinner on the beach and we were told by the Staff that the beach access was closed! They closed off the entire beach access for this table so people wouldn't walk by and interrupt them! At times I questioned if this was truly a Palace Resort.
BOTTOM LINE: We still believe in the Palace brand, but we will not return to Beach Palace. I am however, interested to see how the remodel incorporates the abandoned Melody Maker resort next door.

Staff accommodations

The staff was very accommodating and considerate to ensure that our stay was satisfactory. Ernesto was especially accommodating to my gluten free and dairy free dietary requests. He offered my different options for me. I was surprised that there was options such as almond milk, gluten free toast and gluten free pancakes.

I had a very mixed experience at the Beach Palace. I will start with the good.

The bartenders, servers, and spa staff were amazing. Always happy to help and smiling! Also staff was in the pool at 6am cleaning which was great. My husband and I booked the four hands massage and it was super relaxing. It was definitely a little pricey, but I felt it was worth it. The food at all the restaurants was actually pretty good. We've stayed at a ton of all inclusives and it can be hit or miss. Even the kids seemed to enjoy it. Gabriella and Ernesto at the buffet were great. I forget everyone else's names but we tipped them to show our appreciation.

Now for the bad. When we checked in along with 2 other rooms for our friends...we had booked an ocean view room. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade to the Honeymoon Suite for a fee, and I agreed. Well, our friends who had lagoon rooms, ended up in the same room as us. Something about Expedia and an upgrade blah blah. I was annoyed but said fine. When we checked out, I voiced my concerns to the front desk employee who did not care one single bit. Then a woman who worked for guest relations asked me what the problem was, and I told her I didn't feel like the extra 400 dollars we paid to upgrade was a fair price. It was literally the same room we would have received if I stayed with the ocean view. She then told me we received chips, strawberries at night, and aromatherapy with the "honeymoon suite" I said 400 dollars worth of chips and strawberries"??? She didn't care either. Then ANOTHER woman came over from guest relations and asked if I was satisfied with the answers I received and said NO. She asked if this was my first experience with Palace resorts and I said yes and I'm not impressed. So I explained everything to her, and she said they could not give me any sort of monetary refund but they could give me a voucher for the lowest price on another vacation. I was ok with this until she then asked me for a deposit! My husband and I laughed! I said so you're trying to assuage my anger about being jacked for 400 bucks by asking me for MORE money!?? We walked away very angry. It left the worst taste in my mouth about this resort.

We didn't complain about the horrendous smell in our bathroom (don't get room 812!) cause we didn't want to go through the trouble of moving since our friends were right next store. Also we are pretty easy going (see other reviews I've done) We put up with some things cause we knew the hotel was being torn down in August. This wasn't like other all inclusives. If you stay here in the next two weeks....do NOT fall for the honeymoon suite upgrade. It's a scam. It is the same room as the ocean view. I have voiced my opinions through surveys for Palace resorts and they give me the same ridiculous answers. I will never stay at another Palace property ever again.

Incredible Vacation with Family

Great hotel with exceptional service and lovely food! The hotel is perfect and the location of it is right by La Isla Mall and Luxury Avenue which is about a 3-5 minute walk so it was so enjoyable…their pools are so great as they have pool bars by each one and all their food and drinks are so refreshing! The restaurants are great but the service is even greater. We want to make some honorable mentions to people that have made this trip better than it already was..Angel, Roger, Javier, Gabriella, Myrna, and Angelica! Thank you to everyone but especially those 6 for always putting on a smile and serving us with the best attitude possible. You guys are great and deserve all the love!

Outstanding Service & Unforgettable Memories at Beach Palace Cancun!

Our stay at Beach Palace Cancun was truly unforgettable, not just because of the stunning ocean views and beautiful amenities, but because of the incredible staff who went above and beyond to make our experience special.

The bartending team was phenomenal! A huge thank you to Fernando Moshan, Eric Pereira, Miguel Rizo, Miguel Batún, Alfredo Ramos from the Sky Bar—every one of them brought energy, creativity, and friendliness that made each night fun and memorable. They made sure our drinks were always on point and treated us like friends, not just guests.

Special recognition also goes to Alfredo, the talented mixologist at the Sports Bar, whose craft and attention to detail made every cocktail an experience in itself. And we can’t forget Zacarías, who was always attentive and welcoming, helping create a great atmosphere wherever he was working.

Late nights were made better thanks to Ernesto from room service, who brought our food with such a positive attitude no matter the hour. We always appreciated seeing his friendly face and knowing our order was in good hands.

And lastly, Israel from the Italian restaurant provided top-tier, thoughtful service and went out of his way to ensure our dinner was nothing less than perfect. His hospitality and warmth did not go unnoticed.

From beginning to end, this trip was filled with incredible moments—and the people at Beach Palace are the reason we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you all for making our vacation feel like home!

BEST BARTENDERS AND SERVICE EVER

I’ve been going to beach palace since I was 8 years old. I am now 23 and i couldn’t fall more in love with beach palace as the times goes on and i get to enjoy it more and more. What gets me is the great service and the phenomenal people who work there. Bartenders, room service staff, chefs, even the waiters that walk around the pools and ask you if you’re ok. I have a list of staff that I want to shout out to palace resorts, those people showed every characteristic which every customer service employee should have, kindness, attentiveness, and they showed a lot of respect. The people i want to say thanks to is, Alfredo Ramos, Miguel Batun, Fernando Moshan, Erick Pereira, Miguel Rizo, and Zarias from the sky bar. These bartenders were absolutely amazing. They always made sure if our drinks were up to their standards and were making sure we had our drink full. Another person I would like to name is a room service employee who always had us laughing and made is feel as if we were at home. The employees name was Ernersto, he would always make sure our late night munchie snacks were one we would never forget. Temara was always great. She was the waitress at the sky bar and always had us eating making sure that our bellies were full. This has been one of the most unforgettable vacations I’ve had and it was due to all the bartenders, the staff, and palace resorts. From the bottom of my heart I really appreciate all of the people that made my vacation one the most unforgettable vacations ever!!!

Great service

We had wonderful interactions with the staff. Ernesto was an excellent server. Gabriella made the most wonderful omelette. Roman at the pool bar was amazing. Veronica at the desk gave us very good suggestions during our stay. Our experience was enhanced by the lovely entertainment. The dancers were truly professional.

We will definitely come back to this resort.

Lots of highlights in one week at the Beach Palace!

Had a fabulous time at Beach Palace. Spent one week, and some of the highlights were:
-Chicken Mole at Tequila restaurant
-Pool activities (water volleyball, water polo, water aerobics)
-Tours (Ek Balam, sunset cruise, snorkeling)
-Restaurant staff, housekeeping staff, and entertainment staff stood out in terms of attentiveness and customer satisfaction and comfort
-Seriously, the chicken mole at Tequila restaurant

2 hotdogs no bun!

Finishing up a wonderful week at Beach Palace, Cancun. The hotel is getting ready to close for a 6 to 8 month renovation, so we are excited to see the hotel in the future. The staff here was incredible, friendly, and the service was phenomenal. Special shout outs to Gabriela at breakfast who made the best omelets, Andres, Angel, Julian, and Ernesto- our servers at breakfast and lunch. We loved Alfredo, our server by the pool! Sergio and Michelle the pool entertainment were excellent. Celeste met us at the airport and got our transportation set up. The staff was wonderful! We will miss them!
