Enjoy the best interactive experience with dolphins at the new Dolphinarium at Barceló, located in front of the beach and surrounded by beautiful tropical landscapes. The enclosure is certified by the European Association for Aquatic Mammals. The dolphinarium is located inside the complex and is for the exclusive use of Barceló Maya Beach Resort hotel guests. It features an innovative shallow platform concept to safely hold interaction experiences for any kind of visitor. For the convenience of the swimmers and their companions, the facilities feature service areas such as check-in, customer service, a welcome hut, an innovative exterior hall where training classes take place during the star program Trainer for a Day, and a photo and video store. Dolphinaris at Barceló offers 4 different programs, designed so that everyone can enjoy an unforgettable experience. They start with a surprising presentation of acrobatics, followed by an orientation where you can ask our highly experienced trainers any questions you may have about dolphins. Other activities, depending on the program you choose, can include: diving with dolphins, underwater observation with goggles, kisses, greetings, hugs and the famous “foot push”, among others. Fantastic fitness center with the most advanced equipment for warm-ups, cardiovascular exercises, cooling down, stretching and strengthening machines. We have everything from treadmills, stationary bikes and weights to two innovative rooms for spinning and yoga. This modern fitness center is located within the U-Spa facilities, with a timetable for programmed classes available (these vary depending on U-Spa availability).
