Amazing Staff

We had so much fun here! The staff was amazing. I want to thank one staff member in particular who was great with my boys, he played soccer with them and made them feel so special, muchas gracias a Cristian! Mis niños se diviertieron mucho contigo! Y definitivamente les dejas un bonito recuerdo de sus vacaciones ⚽️❤️ esperamos volver pronto!!

Best doorman Belman made my stay amazing!

From the start the best Bellman front door staff I've ever had.
Christian Oscar and I forgot the name of the tall front door man started with a J I believe unbelievable people every day I've seen them and always with smiles and helpful information to save the least that's what made or stay very special.
Second, the security people from when you come off the elevator to exit off the hotel are amazing and also very helpful..
We were part of the condo part of the property and I was not allowed to go to the beach and swim, which is public so there were some rude people that didn't let me do that and they told me to walk around some people and some other people, his name was Maximilian and he said it's fine to do it. Just go down to the side of the stairs so that was a miscommunication. I didn't like the confrontations for no apparent reason I was just going for a swim at a public beach.

Not for me!

Great Location! Could be nice resort if updated. Overcrowded, as they give out Too many day passes for public to use property, pools, buffet, bars! Long lines at breakfast buffet and pool crowded! Will not be returning!

Mold throughout property

Sunscape resort in Puerto Vallarta the worse resort I have ever been to! I have been to Mexico numerous times and never had problems like presence of visible black mold!! In your room you could smell it!!! I have asthma and I could feel from breathing this in my chest became sore and heavy. If you any type of respiratory problems I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT STAYING THERE! We stood one night and was charged for two even when we discussed this problem on the first day!!! The food was not good, so in all a very bad experience.

It worked

We recently went to Sunscape Puerto Vallarta for a family vacation in October. It is right on the beach and very close to downtown PV. Everyone was really nice from the bell boys, to the front desk, to the waiters. It was off season so not all the restaurants were open everyday so plan ahead if there are certain places you want to eat. My kids are 10 and 8 and loved the kids club and water park area. The beach is NOT private and there are all sorts of people walking by the resort. The Sun Club is worth it. The room is better and you have access to the Sun Club area with snacks and a private bar. The pool bars do not open until 11 and you cannot get alcoholic beverages at the breakfast buffet until the pool bar opens. Total disappointment there. I just wanted a mimosa with breakfast! The food was ok, nothing special. The Italian Restaurant was the best. No reservations needed. This resort definitely caters to the Spanish speaking customers. No all staff speak English and they were not very good at translating into English during the daily activities. Overall it worked for our trip but not sure we would stay there again.
