New Resort is Beautiful, Excellent Staff and Amazing Pools
This new resort is small and absolutely stunning. It is so clean, friendly staff and highly attentive management and butlers. Breakfast and lunches were amazing!! Most dinners were great but a few minor issues that they are working on in terms of food temperature, handling specific changes and following up on requests. Nataly on activities was so kind, Rafael and Yovanni gave us excellent food service in the Mexican and then Japanese restaurants. Our butlers, Carlos, Gonzalo and Jorge went above and beyond to take care of us and Salvador at the rooftop pool finally got them to turn the music down to a comfortable level! We will happily go back again soon as for only being open a short time they are working hard to get feedback and make needed changes.

I had dinner and went to the lobby bar after for a drink and they had bingo so i joined in, then i noticed after that the staff was playing a big uno card game and they invited me to play, needless to say. I had so much fun with them, did i win… no but overall im enjoying my time and Nestor was the director of all the activities! very friendly and fun staff, love my stay so far :)

DJ Esaul kept the energy going in the lobby with a fun mix of music that set such an enjoyable vibe. Around the pool, Betza was attentive, kind, and always made sure we had everything we needed.
The service throughout our stay felt warm and genuine, and that’s exactly what will keep us coming back — especially as VIP members with Legendary. Everything about this trip was magical, and we want to sincerely thank the resort for their exceptional hospitality.

Very nice resort. Angel kept us up to date with daily activities . Patricia on the rooftop pool and cafe was very attentive. Paul in the cocktail lounge was very friendly and great at making drinks. Alberto pool side was very attentive and always willing to go above and beyond. Great experience . Will be back.

Boutique Experience
This resort provides big resort service in a boutique sized style. Its fresh and modern with friendly/helpful staff. The spa is amazing and offered many services, but book early spots fill up quickly. The all-inclusive a la carte style dining was delicious and every meal was presented as a beautiful work of art. During our stay the extra touches from our fabulous host Eduardo, evening turn down service and the welcome drink at check-in made the while stay an elevated experience!

The ride from the airport was quick and easy—less than 30 minutes even with some traffic. Check-in was smooth and efficient. Our room wasn’t ready right away, so we went to the gym and grabbed lunch; by the time we finished, the room was ready. They did mention the Legendary presentation, but we politely declined, and our decision was respected without any pressure.
The design of this resort is absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed. The beds were very comfortable, and the minibar was well stocked. The soaking tub on the balcony was a nice touch, though we didn’t end up using it. There is construction at the Hard Rock next door, but once the sliding doors were closed, we didn’t hear a thing. The room was very quiet,no hallway or neighboring noise, and even the A/C ran silently. We usually sleep with the hum of a ceiling fan, so we were glad we’d brought our sound machine.
What truly sets this resort apart is the food and service. During our five-night stay, we dined at Lia (Italian) twice, Kobo (Japanese) twice, and Aguamadre (Mexican) once. Every meal was excellent. The hibachi experience at Kobo was a highlight, and the à la carte menu was equally impressive. The handmade pasta at Lia was delicious, and all of the restaurants offered plenty of options. We also ordered from the pool menu and room service several times, both were fantastic.
We’re not buffet people (I’m a bit of a germ freak!), so we appreciated that the resort doesn’t offer one. Breakfast at Lia each morning was a favorite. The menu had so many choices. Honestly, the food alone would be enough to bring us back, but the exceptional service and personal touches made the experience feel truly luxurious.
Service throughout the resort was outstanding. I wish I could remember everyone’s names! We had wonderful service at every restaurant, by the pool each day, and in the evenings at the lobby bar. The bartender there was fantastic. Eduardo, our incredible host, checked in with us daily and handled all of our dinner, spa, and activity reservations. We rented a Bali bed one day, and Rogelio was our server- attentive, friendly, and even surprised us with a special snack. Salvador was another standout; he helped us at the pool and even went out on his day off to find a pair of shoes I wanted! These thoughtful gestures made our stay feel truly special and personal.
The spa was another highlight- absolutely heavenly and so relaxing. The hydrotherapy circuit was fantastic. We did an 80-minute couples massage and loved every minute of it, and I also had a facial that was wonderful.
Overall, we rate this resort a 10/10—and we’re very picky travelers! We’re already planning our return trip for the end of May.

We visited Unico from October 16–21 and had the most wonderful experience. We’ve traveled to Mexico many times, usually staying in different locations around the Riviera Maya area, but this was our first trip to Puerto Vallarta. We had an incredible stay at Unico! The resort is beautiful, brand new, clean, and very modern thoughtful design. Our room was clean and comfortable with a jacuzzi tub on the balcony. The pool, entertainment, and restaurants were all on point. Anniversary at Unico Hotel Riviera Nayarit

I had an amazing time at Unico. From check in to check out everyone was amazing and professional. All three restaurants were delicious, this was by far the best food I have ever had at an all inclusive. The staff ensured that I got to my tours without any issues. As good as can be! Great experience.
We were floored by the level of service, amenities, cuisine and service at this hotel. Top notch in every way. I miss the sweet bread already, especially the 'conchitas' at the café. The Japanese restaurant is outstanding, the asparagus wrapped in thinly sliced ribeye appetizers were beyond delicious. Sushi is outstanding and fresh, drinks too. All the restaurants were fantastic. Pool side food is taken to a whole new strata. They have the standard burgers and fries, pizzas and onion rings, which are very good, but you can order delicious ribs, ceviche and nachos that come with shrimp, steak or chicken. The level of guest attention is beyond compare. They have a gentleman at the pool with a cart roaming around to replenish your towels, sunscreen ... heck, he even cleans your sunglasses! Upon arrival at airport, as you walk out, someone with an Unico sign will be waiting for you, he walks you to a private vehicle and off you go. At the property, you'll be met with a rep who will explain the layout of the hotel grounds and restaurants. Then, you'll meet someone who will try to sell you a membership and/or tours. Politely decline and you won't be bother further. Finally, your concierge will greet you and set dinner reservations for you. No buffets here, all ala carte. Portions are big enough, and if you want something else, they'll happily make it for you. It's best if you have WhatsApp, all communication is done via this app. It actually works well. Whatever you need, just ask, and within minutes, it will be taken care of. Very little in terms of nightlife, this place is meant as a haven for relaxation. There will be some gentle music in the lobby, but nothing blasting or blaring. The rooftop pool is great, although we chose to be at the main pool with access to the beach, which is one of our favorites, perfect for long walks. Spa was top tier, wife loved her massage. Evening service is also offered, they'll leave coconut candy on your pillows. Snacks and drinks in your room are replenished daily, even the Snickers bars. Finally, a million thanks to all the staff. Super people, all kind and generous. Very grateful to Larissa and Miguel at the coffee shop. Roberto at Lia, great server and nice as can be. Alberto at the pool provided us with fantastic service, he was never far from helping us. And Anel, our gregarious and wonder woman concierge. We'll be back in March. Wish it was sooner, but we couldn't make it happen. Strongly recommend this hotel.
