Have always had a great experience from check in to checkout. We are looking forward to forward to returning after the renovations are complete in January 2026.
Staff have always been top notch. Management have always accommodated myself and family with utmost respect.
Staying at Riu Jalisco is like being at home, only better.
Also, when we travel, we always stay at a Riu hotel if there is a Riu hotel in the area.

Going into it I read the reviews and did the research - knowing it was outdated and would be refurbished soon. That honestly didn’t bother me.
Cons - that would make me NOT come back.
- the workers are NOT friendly.
Didn’t speak to anyone.
- the sports bar was disgusting. Smelt like old beer and it was dirty with food everywhere.
-lack of snacks available at night if you missed the buffet. No where to get ice cream unless you want to go in the buffet.
-it was dirty!! Garbage all over the beach and the beach food area.
-The pool chairs and tables need to be cleaned.
-the right side of the pool bar smells like puke.

Very Clean Hotel
This hotel is impeccable. The cleaning staff does an excellent job in the cleanliness of the hotel. I’ve stayed at more expensive places it wasn’t as clean as this hotel.
