More good than bad.

We are time share owners in Barbados but have traveled to St Maarten 3 of our last 4 vacations. We have run out of weeks and have to consider what’s next. We like Little Bay for its location, its beach and 2 of the 3 rooms we have stayed.

This year, our room in building #12 was a big disappointment. We had to keep the temperature on 22 degrees Celsius which made the one bedroom too cold. Increasing the temp by just 2 degrees caused condensation on the floors throughout the unit. We had to sleep with a blanket the entire time.

We also did not know that we could dictate when and how often the room would get cleaned of which days we would receive just new towels and the garbage would be emptied. Because we weren’t told there were 2-days our towels were changed. Because the unit was so cold, our towels wouldn’t dry after use.

The good news is that the resort is in the process of remodeling its property. We will return next year to evaluate changes and see if customer service improves before investing in Divi

Divi bay

The resort was great however st. Maarten wasn't that great. The beaches and snorkeling is awesome. Locals don't like tourists. They tolerate us. We were rear ended in a rental car and had to pay 7k damages before we could leave the island. We are still waiting for travel insurance to reimburse us 3 months later. We couldn't get a police report. They don't return calls or answer phones. Locals choose to live like a third world country. We will not go back to the island and won't recommend it to our friends and family.

Excellent Hotel and resort. Best beach on the Island. Little dated in some rooms. They were refurbishing some areas so maybe they just need to get around to those rooms. Otherwise very comfortable. Had some air-conditioning challenges but otherwise a lovely holiday

After 21 years vacationing in St. Maarten, Divi Little Bay is the cleanest, friendliest, and most beautiful resort I’ve stayed at—impeccably maintained pools, spotless rooms, and pristine grounds.
The location is breathtaking, with panoramic sunrise-to-sunset views and unforgettable rainbows over the bay.
Two amazing pools: a 3-tier infinity pool with firepit and another peaceful one by Seabreeze.
Great food variety: Seabreeze, Slice, Gizmo’s, Fort Amsterdam, The Shack, Mix at Oceans—delicious and convenient.
Staff are warm, helpful, and truly care. From bellmen to housekeeping, service is top-notch.
Bonus: Please don’t feed Gizmo, the resort’s charming mascot!
Divi is a well-run, welcoming, and sparkling clean Caribbean gem. Can’t wait to return!

Pleasant stay

We stayed at the Divi at the end of July through an exchange with RCI (we are Wyndham owners). We enjoyed our stay and as with every place there are always pros and cons. Cons is maybe too strong of a word, but definitely areas that could be improved.

Pros:
* rooms were ready when we arrived (at 3:00, even though check in is at 4:00)
* all staff that we encountered were helpful and friendly
* transportation is available via carts around the resort but it really isn’t needed
* our rooms were clean and spacious. We stayed in joining rooms which allowed us to have 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
* maintenance responded immediately to our phone calls
* food was good (we did not do all inclusive).
* although it was considered high season points-wise, we never had an issue getting a chair at the pool/beach. In fact, there were times we had the pool all to ourselves!

Areas for improvement:
* wifi was tricky. It worked for the most part but there were definitely dead zones on the property
* water pressure was loooow, at times almost a trickle.
* water temperature was inconsistent, at times lukewarm if you were lucky and other times scalding
* if eating at the resort go before you are hungry! We waited over an hour for our food for both lunches and dinners at both Gizmos and Seabreeze.
* inconsistencies on restaurant schedules in the app vs handouts provided at check in vs signs posted at the resort
* broken equipment in the gym.

Overall, it was a good stay. Would I book there again? Possibly.

Divi Little Bay Resort is Fantastic!

My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay at Divi Little Bay Resort and from check-in to check-out and everything in between our stay was fantastic!
The ocean view from our room was breathtaking.
The entire staff led by General Manager, Ann Marie, was top notch, friendly, professional snd extremely helpful. They made sure our vacation was relaxing and fun.
There’s plenty to do, or if you just want to relax on the beach or the beautiful 3 tier pool, you can do that. Don’t miss the rooftop bar for evening cocktails and bites along with a spectacular sunset view!
If you’re looking for a place to stay on St Maarten, Divi Little Bay Resort is the place to go.

A great, mostly quiet, beach resort

We spent a great two weeks at Divi and were well taken care of from check-in to check-out. Kevin at the front desk was helpful in not only getting us checked in on day 1, but also remembering and handling our request to remain in the same unit for both weeks (we are timeshare owners and were booked on two different reservations). We were pleased when we visited the front desk later in the week and he said our request was all set. Also at the front desk Winson was helpful in getting our keys reprogrammed Friday night so that we wouldn't need to deal with the usual Saturday check-in crowds. And lastly bellman Roger was helpful as always getting us and our bags quickly to the room and making sure we had all of the information we needed.

This year we had rooms 2019 and 2020 which are beachfront and near Gizmos. The only negative thing I can say about these rooms is the noise from nightly entertainment at Gizmos. For the most part it wasn't too much of a bother and was usually done by 9:30, but karaoke night... yikes.

Midway through our stay the washer/dryer in our unit malfunctioned and started flooding. The front desk got maintenance there right away and they temporarily fixed the issue. The machine wasn't fixable so the front desk gave us a key to a vacant unit so that we could use that machine for the remainder of our stay. Overall a minor inconvenience that was handled wonderfully and without hassle.

Miguel from the security team is a great example of being able to make sure people follow the rules while also having fun. Most afternoons he would patrol by the main pool and let people know about what activities Tony had going on a Gizmo's at that time. One day there was a guest in the pool area with a glass bottle. Miguel could have told the guest they needed to leave or throw away their beer, but instead he brought a plastic cup from the bar, explained to the guest that glass near the pool is dangerous, and after the guest poured their beer in to the cup he took the glass bottle away for them. Always a smile and always friendly.

Speaking of the pools, most days everything was great. Easy to get chairs and not crowded. There were a few days at the main pool and the Seabreeze pool when the pools were very clear and a bit dirty. We saw them replacing a pool pump at Seabreeze after which everything was crystal clear, so that explains that.

The beach was wonderful (and our number 1 reason for repeatedly visiting this property). Chairs and umbrellas are easy to come by and the beach staff were quick to assist when asked. The only complaint I have is the renting of chairs to cruise passengers. There was one day when the chairs were two rows deep the entire length of the beach - not the peaceful Little Bay we're used to in July. We know all beaches on St Martin are public, but Divi or Aqua Mania don't have to rent chairs... but they do.

There was construction going on while we were there but it wasn't loud or disruptive at all. Overall the property was in good shape, the staff helpful and friendly, and management visible and responsive. Already looking forward to our return in April.

A wonderful beach resort with activities for the whole family.

We had a wonderful time here at Divi! The staff and personnel were very helpful and friendly. The taxi drivers were also friendly and polite and helped us get around.
The beach was clean and clear, as where the pools.

Beautiful trip to Divi Little Bay

We just returned from a great , relaxing trip to Divi Little Bay . Beautiful location with best swim beach with calm , crystal clear water . Great snorkeling from the beach ! beach attendants right there daily to set up you complimentary beach chairs and umbrella . Room location and amenities fantastic in the Ocean’s building. Beautiful view loved waiting the cruise ships sail in and out of port . Several food restaurants / options onsite . Fully stocked convenience store , jewelry store , souvenir shops , spa and more . Activity manager Tony pretty much daily out there giving you a good time and musical performances some evenings . But what makes Divi one of the best is the staff .is the Hard working staff . From Mr King pre arrival who goes out of his way to put you in the best location , arrival team , concierge service , bellman kudos to Erick and others , food service employees and you even see the Gm several times making sure your vacation is the best. thank you Divi and we hope to see you all again next fall.

Excellent

This was our first time here in St Maarten. We were recommended Divi Little Bay and have realized why during our experience here. The staff in general are very friendly and accommodating. Some notable experiences with the staff would have to start with Miss Laurel (I am likely spelling this wrong) super sweet and a truely lovely woman. You will find her at The Slice with the yellow glasses. Second would be the ladies at the market. So nice and accommodating every time we visited. The bell service is wonderful, there is a man with a ponytail that really impressed us with his initial welcoming to our room. Out of our travel experiences, by far the best welcoming. His name began with an R I think. Anyways, we were not impressed with the ribs at the mix. Beautiful establishment, but no meat on the ribs, like I mean zero. Otherwise excellent service. So there you have it! Great experience, for the love of god go to the slice and say hello to Laurel and be sure to visit the market!

Beautiful setting for a resort in need of update

We have enjoyed Divi for its delightful beach and wonderful main pool. However, the units are becoming run down and it seems that they are putting their efforts into the new section called Oceans. We do not do the all inclusive and I am happy that we don't Our two lunches at Sea Breeze were very tasted but took forever to get the food and it was very pricey. The main restaurant called Pure Ocean is definitely poorly run and the food is not worth the price. We had a lobster dinner there that was so bad we asked to see the manager. I could see that they were grilling the lobster too far in advance and then keeping them under a warming light until someone ordered one. Tough and dry. We had enjoyed this meal before at the restaurant and looked forward to it at this visit. Will not return. Heard several people at the pool complain about the food and the upcharges for certain items. The resort definitely needs updating including paint and replacement (or painting) of worn out cabinets in the kitchen. While we were there the satellite TV only got 5 channels compared to 12-15 in prior times.

A great stay to start the new year

We had a great stay in Jan 2025. We stayed in the newer section of the resort with a beautiful high floor ocean front room. The food options that were a part of the all inclusive were great. We had pizza twice and the wings from the Mexican restaurant were really crispy and good. Everyone was nice and helpful. It was a quick trip so only 3 full days but everyday was easy to find a beach chair and room by the pool. One server really stood out and we want to commend her on how lovely and helpful.she was. Monioska Richardson, she's an asset to your team and you're lucky to have her!! The hotel isn't far but I guess the time of day we got there the cabs weren't happy to take us as it's a one road in one road out type of area abs it took about an hour for what should normally take 20 min from the airport. Room was clean and spacious bathroom was nice and there were always enough beach and pool towels. Will Def be back for longer in the future.

Exceeded all expectations

Divi Little Bay exceeded all my expectations. The resort is beautifully situated between bays. The pool area is one of the prettiest I have ever seen. The ocean is so clear we could see our feet even over our head. While I was waiting in the airport to leave, I was checking RCI to see when I could get back to St Maarten. The staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms were comfortable and right on the water. I am looking forward to going back.

Your lack of flexibility and disregard for customer service is unacceptable.

To Whom It May Concern,

This letter serves as formal notice regarding my reservation at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort.

I contacted your reservations department twice in advance to request a date change due to unforeseen flight issues, moving my stay from September 27 – October 4, 2025 to October 2 – October 9, 2025. Despite my timely request and the fact that I purchased travel insurance specifically to protect against such situations, your team refused both requests.

This refusal has placed me in an unreasonable and unnecessary bind. The travel insurance provider confirmed that you could have accommodated this change without penalty, yet your resort chose not to honor a modification.

Your lack of flexibility and disregard for customer service is unacceptable.

September at Divi

Beautiful resort! Our rooms were excellent. we did have minor issues with a bathroom door and with AC in one side of our 2 bedroom locking but this was addressed immediately. September is low season on St. Maarten so some restaurants in area were closed due to vacation or renovation. Would stay again. We had units 1026 and 1027 which were right on the beach.

Wedding week at Divi!

We had an incredible time at Divi even during their off season! We just had our wedding there and it was truly the perfect week! Felicia Hassell was so truly incredible in assisting us in the process. She greeted us at the front desk and ensured our stay was unforgettable. When planning the wedding her communication was great, easy to talk to, and made things so easy for us. The day was truly perfect thanks to her. The food was also so good throughout our stay and the wedding day. Our guests had nothing but great things to say! The quality and time put into it was exceptional. Not much to complain about. It was off season so sometimes service was a little slower but we knew the staff was doing their best. Also a few of the restaurants were not open. A few other staff members that made the stay unforgettable were Mike at the pool bar, Lou at Gizmos, and Kevin who made sure we got where we needed to go! Great experience overall with food, entertainment, our room, and staff friendliness.

Wonderful vacation. Staff is always there to ensure your stay is all you expected. Maid service was excellent. The food at Gizmos Bar was very good. We are fitness people, the fitness center needs updating, but it worked for the week.

Very Nice 37th anniversary destination

We've been to many resorts on our timeshare and Divi is one of the nicer ones.

Its big, has one of the best beach bay on the island, a great view of the (Philipsburg) Great Bay port along with Cruise ships, several pools and eating venues.
We enjoyed the spa and water sports available on site.

The Bell persons (Eddy and his team) are excellent. they helped me get a room with limited stairs (a relief to my leg) and provided shuttle rides to the various areas around the resort.

I have been traveling here for ivermectin 20 years. Have seen several employees come and go… the food and beverage manager Paul has continually harassed employees out in the open in-front of guests, sat at the bar snd checked one specific bartenders invoices to ensure that everything was on everyones invoice. This is absurd to me. Asked the runner on the beach why sales are down on the beach. Paul was fired from the Divi and rehired by Annmarie. This place is getting worse with the management team they have. This situation with Pierre was disgusting and as a hr manager you handled this all wrong. You should be ashamed of yourself
