Reservations Agent
This position is located at our Glen Burnie, MD headquarters. Reservation Agents are the voice of our staff and responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences by determining and selling to the individual needs of our customers and matching them with our products and services.
Duties:
Answering incoming telephone calls
Following up on existing reservations and leads
Assist customers with reservation process
Communicate travel updates to clients
Confirm and reconfirm travel arrangements for customers
Participate in product training
Assist in social media marketing efforts
Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent
Proven 2 plus years of sales experience in a service-oriented environment
Demonstrative strong service and consultative skills
Demonstrated strong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems
Demonstrated strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills
Demonstrated passion for travel
Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships
Proven Sales or Service experience in a call center environment
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of the Travel/Hospitality Industry
Proven strong sales and closing skills and the ability to overcome objections
Bilingual skills (Spanish)
Experience with Airline Reservation systems including Sabre
PHP Web Developer
This position is located at our Glen Burnie, MD headquarters. Web developer position are responsible to provide PHP programming and
functionality for a variety of consumer-related websites, intranets, extranets and web-based
applications. You will be challenged on a daily basis to solve problems in new and creative ways.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or commensurate work experience
PHP web application development
DBA experience with MySQL
Proficient in Web services / SOAP / XML
Thorough knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS and Javascript
Relevant W3C standards and best practices
Ability to translate business requirements into system design
Ability to partner and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Strong debugging skills and the ability to easily and quickly read and modify existing
code

Responsible for daily post, tweets, emails and blogs to all applicable social media outlets.
Duties:
Review and write travel related blogs on a variety of topics
Post news and updates on all relevant sites
Manage Facebook sites
Write and maintain hotel descriptions
Asssit with writing web copy
Track online activity, social media influence and communicate to management
Ensure consistency of message across all networks
